We arrived this morning and were seated immediately. We had the option to choose between indoor or outdoor seating and picked outdoor. Our server came pretty quickly and I ordered a cinnamon maple latte and the strawberry basil mimosa that he recommended. I loved my latte, the flavor wasn't too sweet and hit the spot perfectly. I was not a fan of the strawberry basil mimosa, there was not much flavor to it. I also ordered the French toast, over hard eggs, sausage patty and a side of sour dough toast. Everything tasted very yummy, the French toast was cooked slightly too long but I still enjoyed it. The sausage and eggs were cooked perfectly and were also very tasty. Our server checked on us throughout our meal and made sure we were still doing good. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary in McCall and came here for breakfast on our last day. We chose Brunchette based on the Yelp reviews. We were seated at a very nice table on the table facing the lake. Kinley was our server and she did a great job of taking care of us, in addition to being very nice. Their coffee is very good and they have fresh squeezed OJ! My wife had the French Toast with eggs and bacon and I had the Egg Sandwich with country style potatoes. The French toast is flavorful, crispy on the surface. The bacon is nice and thick. I had the sandwich with scrambled eggs and sausage and pepper jack cheese. The sausage had a little heat to it. The brioche bun was a little on the soggy side. There were no condiments on it. I should have asked for mayo. The potatoes were not crispy but soft and overly moist. Next time I would have the hash browns. In summary, the food was hit and miss but the coffee, OJ, location, view, and service were great. We would come back. read more

My husband and I came through town mid-November so the town was fairly quiet. We were one of two tables around 9am. Two different musics were playing and that was pretty distracting. We were basing our visit off of the online menu that was recently posted about. Specifically the brisket breakfast plate and the benedicts. Come to find out that the place is under new ownership and they hadn't changed/taken down the old menu. Inside they have newer menus with a lot less of the usual flare... though the bacon was still a jalapeño and maple flavor. Nothing stands out on the menu other than their delicious coffees. Which almost, ALMOST, made up for the dry waffles and not getting the food we wanted. Hopefully they decide to keep some of the more unique menu options that set them aside from any other breakfast place. Definitely keep the coffees! This was on my list for a must visit during our weekend trip to McCall. We went on Sunday morning around 1030 and joined the waitlist. We were number 14 in line and it took about an hour to get seated. Time went by quickly walking through the shops next door. The inside of the brunchette is so charming! And the views are spectacular! We started with a mimosa flight and ordered the peach raspberry, gold digger, hisbiscus and strawberry basil. The presentation was on point and all of the mimosas were good! I especially loved the gold digger cause it was pretty! We then ordered a regular size watermelon and huckleberry. For food we both went with the brisket and eggs and waffles and French toast as our sides. I honestly wasn't a fan of the waffles but the brisket and home fries were great. Ordered a Cobb salad. Didn't have a hard boiled egg, or blue cheese crumbles. Plus they forgot the avocado. And the waitress didn't ask what dressing I would like so I figured she was bringing Bleu cheese dressing. but, NOPE, they served me a dry salad. My friend oredered her eggs over medium and they came out over hard. We asked for a redo and they came out 15 minutes later. I can fry an egg at home in less than 5 minutes. We lucked out and came in at about 12:30 on a Tuesday. Even though there was some sort of a conference in town we got seated as soon as we got there. Super nice staff and adorable setting! They have free coffee on Tuesday's, no purchase necessary. I opted for herbal tea and was NOT disappointed. I chose the Great Fruity Paradis and it was perfection! They even have a little honey pot with one of those funny honey sticks. My husband had the House Club with home fries. I had the Meat Stuffed Tortilla with home fries and a side of hollandaise. The outside setting is wonderful overlooking the lake! Service was slow even though is a weekday morning. All four of us and all ordered the eggs Benedict... out of the 8 eggs only 1 was cooked correctly. They were accommodating to some of the changes made like protein added or substitute of different breads, but the Hollandaise was thick, over powering, and drowning the rest of the plate. I made reservations for 11:00am and showed up early/on time. My party still had to wait in a line to be seated despite it being past our reservation time, and the parties ahead of us did not have reservations made (waitress asks as she seats you the size of your party and if you have a reservation). When we finally got seated our waitress disappeared completely. We were left alone for almost 30 minutes and didn't even get waters brought to our table. By the time our waitress came to ask us what we would like to drink we attempted to order our food as well. My party was disappointed to find out that the menu on google maps / their website / yelp did not match their menu at the restaurant (despite it being for the same location). Many items, such as omelettes and sandwiches were not on the menu. We asked our waitress about getting our food to-go since we had plans later in the afternoon. Our waitress said it would take over 40 minutes to get food (which is not her fault, thank you for the information) even to-go, and told us we should leave. In general from our experience, the staff was very dismissive. The hostess and other staff made us feel like they didn't really want us or the other customers to be there. Making reservations is pointless, walk-ins will have the same priority, and the one table near us who had their food mentioned it wasn't worth the steep price or the wait. If you are looking for a decent view, it is as you would expect right on the water and the restaurants interior is charming. If you are looking for delicious food and good service, might not recommend. If you are from out of town and you or your group is visiting for a limited number of days / have a busier schedule I would say this might not be worth your time. If you plan on coming regardless, making reservations isn't too important, and if you do plan on coming roughly 30-60 minutes before you want to be seated and have your order taken. Through reading the reviews and speaking with others around our table it's best to show up earlier than you would for other restaurants. Something wonderful about this restaurant is that it is dog friendly, and allows you to eat with your animals alongside you if you eat outside. Yesterday while on a little vacation we came across this brunch spot. Didn't know at the time but this is another location of the 2 Brunchettes in Boise. So once we knew that we were looking forward to it and now we have eaten at all 3 locations. The location of this restaurant is great and the scenery is even better. Views are absolutely amazing as well as completely updated modern vibe inside the restaurant. The food was just as good as their other locations. My wife had basic benedict and I had the mountain man. Both dishes were very good and did not disappoint. So why just the 3 stars? It came right down to service and unfortunately this warranted the rating. We made a reservation over the phone and once we got there we were seated right away. After a short wait our waitress came over and asked if we anted coffee and said no thanks but we would like to order some mimosas. She said she would be right back and that's when things went as they did. After now 10 mins waiting she came and got our order for mimosas that she could've gotten right away. Another 10 min wait for drinks and now we can order some food. Not too long of a wait and our food came out but we noticed we had no silverware and had to flag down someone for some. You would think that they would run and go get some not in this circumstance. What annoyed me is we were not the only people going through this. We watched several other tables having to do the same. Plus not only did our waitress never come she didn't even check on us till we were done with our meal. This also included wanting a mimosa refill that I had to ask another sever to get for us. This would easily have been a 4 to 5 star rating if it wasn't for this lackadaisical lack of service. The food and drinks were what we expected and had high hopes. We had breakfast on a Monday morning here in October. It was a quiet off-season visit. The setting of this restaurant is beautiful right on the lake with both indoor and patio seating. The server was so friendly. I must say I was hesitant to sit on the indoor velvet like material with stains from the summer season evident. The menu was heavy on eggs versus any type of pancake or waffles. The prices were what I expected for this waterfront tourist town. The egg dishes we ordered came with toast and choice of potatoes. Eggs were cooked fine. We each got the skillet fried potatoes, but we couldn't eat them. They tasted stale, maybe reheated on microwaved and not crispy. They offered us something else that we were grateful for but declined. Didn't have my phone, so I couldn't take pictures. I continued to be surprised again and again by Brunchette--and not in a good way. First off, it is NOT ADA-compliant. It is located downstairs and does not have a functioning elevator. You have to walk around the block, down a long ramp, along an unpaved path, and up uneven stairs to get to the restaurant. We have a stroller and it was an endeavor to get there. I'm not sure it'd be possible for someone in a wheelchair. Second, the hostess was not helpful and very obviously annoyed with customers. When we first got there, he walked down the stairs and asked if there was an elevator. She shrugged and said there was a ramp we might be able to walk down. She didn't ask if we wanted to be added to the waitlist and skipped over him. Hostess issues are continued. Thirdly, expect extra time if they tell you a certain reservation. We were told noon and were there at 11:55. The hostess asked if we'd like to sit inside or outside. My husband said outside. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and walked off. The people behind us said inside and were immediately sat. I'm assuming it was the manager who saw me waiting awkwardly and asked if we were being sat. I said I wasn't sure so she went and checked. We were eventually sat at 12:20. After originally arriving at 10:30. There were no sorries uttered by anyone there. Fourth, the service. I understand that everyone in McCall is short staffed and that you need to be patient with the staff who is working. No one we encountered was particularly friendly. The one nice thing we experienced was I had asked if they could possibly fast-track the side of fruit for our daughter. The server rolled her eyes and stormed away before I could finish asking. But, she did bring the side of fruit! Fifth, the food. My husband ordered the Benedict which had sat for a long enough period of time that the hollandaise had broken and the poached eggs were medium. I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of potatoes. I got a side of questionable looking fruit instead and asked for the side of potatoes. Once those were brought out, they had a consistency of what I can only describe as sand. Overall, spend the money you were going to spend here and go to Albertsons, get groceries, make yourself breakfast, and save the trip. read more

We visit the Mexican restaurant upstairs because of the strong drinks, panoramic lake views, authentic food and impeccable. We tried visiting the Brunchette on two different occasions and didn't make a reservation because they had all their slots open on OpenTable including inside seating. When we arrived there were table open in the covered patio but there were a couple sixteen yr old hostesses making seating decisions. To the owners of this business, you're leaving important decisions such as seating customers especially large parties in the hands of teenagers. We're trying to eat at this place. read more

A lovely place set right on the lake. Get a table by the water--you can't go wrong. That's how I'm starting this review. I didn't finish one meal while I was in Idaho-- and this was no exception. This isn't because the food was bad, but because for some reason Idahoan portion sizes are ridiculous. Let's get into it. Ambiance: We went early afternoon, so it was quiet. The space itself is spacious, modern, cutesy decor--very instagrammable if that's what you're into. I just love how much light was coming into the space. Service: Again, it wasn't super busy, but there were only two waiters-- which can be a lot. And ours did well. Super attentive and made adjustments when problems came up--which I'll get to in a minute. Food/Drinks: It was brunch, so guess what I wanted? Mimosas of course! And they offer a surprisingly large variety. Whether they all hit the mark is another thing entirely. We had the flight--so a set of 4--Classic, Tiffany Blue, Huckleberry Mint, and Orange Lavender. Loved the classic and huckleberry mint-- I've had an obsession with all things huckleberry since first trying it in Boise. The Tiffany Blue was lackluster--we were confused as to what it was going for. But it was more so aesthetically pleasing than delicious. For entree, I had the smoked brisket and eggs--oh hooo, yes! Delicious: moist, flavorful. Of course I couldn't finish it, so I saved it for dinner and honestly, it tasted even better. That BBQ sauce absolutely delivered and so did the home fries. My little girl had the Chicken Fry Steak and Eggs. She thoroughly enjoyed it--and was actually able to finish hers. To the coffee drinks: I had the Huckleberry Delight--remember my obsession? It came out with the milk slightly curdled at the top. I immediately mentioned it to my waiter and he was super apologetic and asked me what I wanted instead. I ended up keeping it simple and having the caramel macchiato. Yum. Overall, definitely had a lovely time. We took some adorable pictures by the velvet blue couch and made our way to the slopes. My husband and I recently went up to McCall for his birthday, and I was excited to try the Brunchette - especially since there are other locations in Treasure Valley. I tried to look up information, but it was not necessarily the easiest to find information on their menu, but oh well. Ordered around 12:05 and got our food around 1:00 so 55 minutes for omelette, sandwich, eggs, and French Toast for a party of 4. Food was delicious and large portions and probably would warrant a 5, but 55 minutes to get breakfast food without a - sorry, kitchen is busy or we had a party of 20 order just before you did is not great. Then we sat for another 15 minutes after we were done waiting for the waitress before we had to go track her down to pay the bill.
