At 1 hour and 10 minutes, without a phone call or knock at the door, went out to check and see if delivery person was coming down the street. . .found my order laying on the door mat. . .brought pizza inside, when box opened, found ants inside the box all over the pizza!!! Bruno's has been my go-to place for stromboli for several years. Went in at least once a month because of the great stromboli with great, friendly staff. They never messed up my order (stromboli with black olives and no onions, Greek salad no onions). Most of the time, the counter lady knew my order immediately when I called or walked in. Today I called to order 2 strombolis and salads for pick-up and was told my stromboli would only be mozzarella and black olives - so why was I asking for 'no onions'? If I wanted anything beside mozzarella, it would have to be a 'build your own'...good luck with that as I could see neither the prices nor the options. Not sure what has happened to a 5 star take-out place but I will be on the lookout for a friendlier, more accommodating place to get my stromboli. Since there's a pizzeria on virtually every corner beachside, it shouldn't be too difficult to find a replacement. read more

I'm not going to lie, the "personal" pizzas where a little salty, but really good overall. My pizza had anchovies, which are salty to begin with, but I tried the just cheese pizza and was also a little salty. The only complaints I have was that the server took too long to come to our table after giving us the menu and gave me a wrong ingredient on my pizza. Even so, this is a must try place. read more

Purchased 2, 10 piece wings, 1 cheese fry, 1 regular fry, and a kids tender and fry combo. I've been a chef for 18 years now. And wings and tenders should be something that is fool proof. The food looked great. The flavor was nonexistent. Firstly, I ordered all flats for one of the orders, flavor was to be garlic parm. the mixed the flavors up on the wings. Too much garlic, no seasoning at all, all sauces and dressings taste like run of the mill sisco sauces. Very bland fry's as well. No salt. Menu needs to specify shredd cheese for the fries. I was expecting nacho cheese sauce. My son's tenders were burnt to hell and back. Just a subpar experience all the way around. Spent $60, will definitely not be coming back. read more

I've had some bad pizza in my life, but this place has moved immediately to the top of the list. Tonight my neighbors picked up 2 pizzas for my birthday party, one with 4 toppings, and one plain. Long story short: ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS and burned on the bottom. 3 slices eaten and the rest went directly back into the boxes. I am taking them back for replacement. WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW DEPENDING ON HOW I AM TREATED WHEN THESE GET RETURNED. BTW: I am Italian and my father was a chef. I know good pizza. I know average pizza, I know "OK" pizza. This was so bad we all just looked at each other. No one wanted to say first what we all felt, probably because it was my choice to order from Bruno's. These pizzas were (and are now), LITERALLY the worst pizza ever, and there are some exceptionally bad pizza places in this area. This is my "not so Happy Birthday" review. Now coming from New York, I am going to be a little picky of course...that being said, I give kudos to this place. The pizza is actually very good. Not up to NY standards (of course), but I really do enjoy the pizza. I got the veggie pizza last time and was happy they give you several toppings. The caesar salad is also delicious as well - dressing tastes home made. The one thing I have to say which I really appreciate is that they give you a lot of food and it's all fair priced. For instance, you can get a "entree meal" and they give you salad + bread, and you will have enough for leftovers for another night. If you are from NY, Brunos Pizza is the place to go - their pizza and meals are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. They are open late, and even make deliveries too. read more

I would brag about Bruno's pizza to friends and family and today I stopped in order a slice of pizza with onions and garlic to go however when I got home it did not look appetizing. The cheese was dry it look like it had been sitting there for hours and the crust was also burnt. I'm not sure if I would eat there again. Disappointing. read more

This is a nice little by the slice pizza joint in a strip mall right next to Public. It's great to grab a single slice or a whole pizza, and they are friendly and caring towards the customer. A hidden feature is the ability to order pizza dough and make your own. Definitely worthy of a try. I like the style of pizza and the price is right! read more

Perfect supper to run pick up after a long day at the beach. We got the garlic bread with cheese, a pepperoni and ham pizza, and a chicken bacon ranch pizza (this was the crowd favorite). You can see them hand-making the pizza when you order/pickup. Great food! read more

I ordered a slice of meat lovers while I waited for my stromboli (to go order) It was perfect NYC style. Thin and tasty crust with a slight crunch. Perfect amounts of meat and cheese. I just folded it and proceeded to inhale it. I can hardly wait to try the stromboli! They serve by the slice at lunch and have a great selection of pies. The slices are big ( like 2 slices in one). The lunch special is a jumbo slice of cheese and a drink for less than $5. I highly recommend Bruno's. read more

Coworker and I went and each got a cheese slice. Crust was nice and crispy. Not too thin, not too thick. Good tangy sauce too. I got a greek salad. They have a good homemade dressing that comes with it. Coworker got an eggplant parm sub. He said it was great. Bread was toasted well and not soft and soggy. The pizza was ok but seriously the most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Made the mistake of ordering 5 salads while at a hotel. They knew they were delivering to a hotel. Silverware you say? None. Called and requested silverware to which they said sorry about your luck. Not coming back. Ok so can you refund because we cannot eat salads without silverware. Nope. Chicken Parm took 2 1/2 hrs to deliver. Had to call after an hour to find out what was going on. Manager said she would take $10 dollars off. Delivery driver finally gets to my house and has a terrible attitude. Tried to say I owe more money after my card was already charged for food and tip. He got physically mad and put my food on the ground, cursing as he was walking away. Even more stuff than this happened but I will shorten for reading purposes. They did comp the entire bill which is expected when a customer has to endure this, but this experience was horrible. They don't know how to handle customer problems and actually took up for their incompetence and unprofessionalism. I can never eat here again and suggest you don't!! read more

The prices are extremely reasonable considered they are right on the beach. I personally think they are better than Lenny's on Starvos. read more

I'd give 0 if I could! Ordered two buffalo chicken wraps. One with only buffalo sauce chicken and cheese. And one with everything on it. Neither of our wraps had buffalo sauce on them. The fries I got were under cooked. The cheesecake that I ordered was FROZEN solid So it's probably been sitting in a freezer for god knows how long I didn't eat not one thing that I ordered. Bruno's Ad popped up at the top, so I called to see if they offered one -- success!! I ordered a sausage & spinach GF pizza & it was one of the best GF pizzas I've ever had.... The crust tasted great & was nice & crispy. My husband ordered a regular pep & cheese, and said on a scale of 1-10 it was a 10! I went here at 845 pm wanting pizza the girl immediately slammed the door on me as I was entering and yelled were closed. I then called their number to ask why they are closed when their sign says their open till 9pm she told me it was slow so they closed early and hung up.
