I loved every bite from the Cali Cobb which had roasted corn, Avacado, crisp thick bacon bits ,fresh salad greens (cold and no wilt) it was porportioned perfect, not all greens. I had to try the house homemade Italian dressing..... my taste buds danced! The Shrimp Po Boy had a generous amount of shrimp in every bite, the perfect roll the bread held the insides of sandwich. The flavor was tangy, spices and you could taste the shrimp! Was not all breaking. Really good food, they care. Burgers are more gourmet then you'd think for a bar that caters to the college crowd. Wait staff also, just great. Again, above your average sports bar mentality for wait staff, they were on it, which when it was absolutely packed, doesn't happen that often anywhere I have been anytime lately. The drinks were good, but my only complaint is that they were just a little warmer then I would have liked. It just felt slightly off, not like I couldn't drink it, but it wasn't quite what I would have expected. Overall, I could have ordered a Jack and Coke and we'd have a 5 star review. After a couple of years around this town, part time, I found this bar and I like it. They are the only place in town that has the Impossible Burger and it's great. The bartender that served me was very nice and he recommended some things, although they were things that I could not eat because I'm a vegetarian, but he was really great. I have now ordered delivery from them and it was also on point and I appreciate the work that these folks do. I will definitely be going back again, and again. I'm in the area for business and I've visited most of the bars in this small town. From an outsiders perspective there are really only two modern bars in this town and this is one of them. Brunzie's seems to have the more mature crowd of the two, but I still see a decent mix of young people. Out of all the places I've lived in America, and I've lived in a lot of places, I'd say Indiana, PA has the lowest drink prices by far. Brunzie's is no exception to that trend. Well drinks are $1.50 from 9pm-11pm. The food is definitely what you'd typically find at a bar. My only knock on the bar is that there are multiple TV screens, but 95% of them are typically turned onto a hockey game and the same one at that. To be fair I can't say I've seen any of the other restaurants in Indiana deviate from this practice. People in Western PA just tend to forget that hockey is the fourth major sport ;) I'd recommend this bar to anyone and everyone. It's got the best mixture of patrons and a good atmosphere. Brunzies is a sports bar/pub and we like it for the most part. The staff is always helpful and service is usually pretty quick. The drinks are good, although a little steep. Food choices are limited but burgers and fries are always good. We have been disappointed that they discontinued the stadium nachos and replaced them with the far inferior "deconstructed" nachos. This fairly new restaurant to the Indiana PA bar scene is a welcome respite from the rest of the typical college bars in the area. The bar itself is bright and welcoming with a modern look and large windows. Comfortable booths with high backs give you a private dining experience while the tables can easily be pushed together to accommodate larger groups. The staff is generally friendly and prompt, even when busy. The food is typical bar food, but deliciously executed. Nothing on the menu will surprise you, but the food is fresh and well done. They offer a variety of changing beers, usually relatively seasonal. They will allow you to have a small taste of a beer before purchasing a pint. I was told we couldn't get connected with Brunzies to see if there was any wait. I explained I was just trying to plan ahead to determine how long I'd have to wait with two kids. They said here was no way to determine. At that point we decided if it was that hard to get help already, it wasn't worth eating there despite having enjoying a precious trip. I called a restaurant up the street that we also have enjoyed in the past. They had no problem saying if there was a wait for not. Third time here and each experience was good. It had a nice, warm ambience. The beer selection offers a lot of variety and the mix drink menu has some very flavorful concoctions. This is one of my favorite bars in Indiana. The beer selection is great, I get something new every time I come in. I like the ambiance, the decor hits somewhere between oldies and modern hipster, their playlist helps in achieving that balance. I love Brunzies! My friends and I come here for a beer or two every weekend before we go out. I have also been here for drinks and dinner. The food is awesome! My mom and I had an appetizer, two sandwiches and 3 beers for around 35$ The place is not huge so if you go after 9 on the weekends you might not get a table. However the wait staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We even had the manager check in to make sure everything was to our liking. Fabulous place to hangout with friends or grab a burger. For the hype, I thought the menu would of been better. It is small and serves the same stuff as the place next door. The wings aren't very good and the only thing saving them is the hamburger and craft beers, which I did find very tasty.
