I have been a loyal customer to Brusters over the years. I had stood in lines with others customers to patronize this business. I ordered 2 items, when I got home and opened the bag there was only one item. I called Bruster's and was told by your employee that they see it on the counter and to come back. Once I get there I didn't receive an apologize for the mistakes, not from the person who took my order or the Supervisor. I was giving this melted Hot Fudge Sundae that had been setting on the counter. I had to leave my house in Germantown, Maryland to hurry back to Brusters, to get my $7.75 Melted Hot Fudge Sundae and was left feeling offended. My family and I are concerning not patroning this business again. read more

Absolutely disgusting customer service, I stood at the window expecting to have an employee attend me after some time, they all ignored me. I understand there is a drive thru line yes, that doesn't mean completely ignore a customer at least acknowledge me or let me know what's going on or happening. Gave this place another try after last summer but once again had the same experience. The ice cream is still excellent (4 stars at least) but the girl grabbed my cone with her bare hands. I requested a new cone at which point she did use a napkin which she stuffed into the plastic cone holder which also was a bad idea because napkin was completely saturated with ice cream after some time. the girl tried to justify that the staff washes their hands frequently which makes no difference if employees touch money/cards right after. On a side note, I don't think folks in medical or food biz should have long fingernails - it's just unhygienic IMO. Nothing against them but just the wrong job. I will miss the ice cream here but Not sure if I'll be back for a while. read more

I LOVE BRUSTER'S!!!! There ice cream is amazing and they have an incredible selection and I enjoy all of them!! I had ordered a banana scoop and a strawberry scoop and they delayed it a little bit but when they handed it to me, they had replaced the strawberry with vanilla and I asked for a new one, they didn't hesitate and gave me the right almost immediately and handed me a coupon and let me have the one they got wrong, Two for the price of one!! The problem is depending on the weekend and staff, some will get to you right away and some will take their time to even make eye contact with you. I'm afraid to say that I am not a fan of Bruster's. They claim that the ice cream is made fresh in the store everyday, but on a recent trip to the store, I had a waffle cone that was freezer-burned. That's right, how exactly can freshly made ice cream be freezer burnt? It can't. I can only imagine how long that ice cream was sitting in the freezer before I came around and ordered it. They also have soft drinks. During the summer time, families are packed in as far as the eye can see and it is like an assembly line, but there are a lot of ice cream places in the area, but this one is a great place to go - especially if it is on an off-night. What can I say? This place is awesome!! Not only is the ice cream DELICIOUS but the staff is always super friendly! It's very clean, the scoops are decently sized. It's a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. On top of that if it's actively raining or snowing when you come here, you get a free scoop! We purposely came here one day while it was raining to get one! What a way to get some business on the less than ideal ice cream days! They have a great variety, for all taste buds. My personal favorite flavor is the Sea Salt caramel. My mouth is watering just thinking of it....I can't wait to try them all! My wife and I really like this ice cream place. They have original flavors and some good ones (of the few I've personally tried) that don't overdo it with sugar. I really like their Graham Central Station, and one day hope to try their Boston Creme Pie flavor, but they went out of stock, and haven't made more since, that I know of.
