Apologies. I am sharing my disappointment. Our recent experience at Bruster's was awful! We visited the location on Whittlesey in Columbus Georgia and received ice cream that was completely melted as soon as we received it. When my husband brought this to the attention of the staff, the lady said it was because it was fresh and would not give him our money back! This is NOT fresh! As a matter of fact, I would think the health department might have something to say about serving ice cream that was not frozen because of potential health concerns. Why is it melted?

Seriously? This is a $5 scoop of sherbet?

Once again, I should have read the reviews before coming here so I suggest you do that as the ice cream AIN'T CHEAP!! I brought my mom here for her birthday. She got a double scoop in a waffle cone. She started off saying she didn't want a chocolate cone but then she said "it taste kinda burnt" but she was enjoying the butter pecan that she overlooked it. When she got to the strawberry she was disappointed as the butter pecan had pieces of pecan swirled in whereas the strawberry was just pink flavored ice cream. Note I got a scoop of lemon sherbet and it was good but at almost $5, I was left wanting more. Next day, she wanted more butter pecan so I take her back (my lady is 80, she gets whatever she wants) and these 3 scoops is less than the two scoops from the previous night. The ice cream didn't even go all the way down inside of the cone. Don't get me wrong, the ice cream is mostly good but when you can go into the grocery store next door and buy a gallon of ice cream for what you are paying for a few scoops, those scoops need to be the best scoops EVER!!

If I could give a negative star review I would. Stopped by on this Sunday, 5/29 around 3:30pm for ice cream after a movie. We decided to walk up to the window to order. Reviewed the list and made our choices. Child's chocolate cone with m&ms and choc chips. The girl taking our order had to see if they could had the toppings and finally said they did. It was givin in a cup and not cone he asked for so got a cone and put it in myself. The cost for a child's scoop with toppings was $7.74. See picture definitely not worth the money. When I questioned this I was dismissed and said that is what it is. Husband ordered sea salt caramel toffee, they did not have. He got Oreo instead. He said it was okay. I wanted the sea salt too but then changed my order to Reese's peanut butter cup, did not have. When I recommended they up date the sign I got a pretty blank stare. Then asked for white raspberry truffle, did not have. She said that they had chocolate raspberry which wasn't what I really wanted but at this point I was frustrated so I went ahead and got. It was okay as well but not great. Next time we will hit up the Dairy Queen or Marble Slab when we want a treat.

My company had pre ordered a cake for one of our employees who have been working for two decades and we requested on our pre order that we wanted strawberry filled , we was so disappointed because there wasn't any strawberries. I just hope they won't do this again to any of their customers.

    They didn't have these. SMH

Owner is extremely rude and money hungry. Don't ask for extra anything because he'll charge you.

We only visited this Cold Stone Creamery location, which was not only close but had always provided a great experience along with good customer services to get our favorite ice dessert, but lately things have drastically changed at this location. Within the past few years we've noticed a shift in everything from the energy of the store to the customer service. First, we started to notice the sewage or dirty mop type smell which is definitely a turnoff but we wanted to patronize the establishment anyway yet made a note of this matter to see if this would be a normal occurrence or a one off. Next we noticed the uneasiness of the employee but didn't understand until the franchisee employer came into view, stood next to the employee and began to hover over the employee as they made our treat. On another occasion this same employer instead of hovering stood behind the employee and watched them and continued to correct the employee. This type of action made us uneasy as we watched the employer interact with the employee and we made a note of this. Another time we were greeted by the employee and not the employer, the same lady. After several attempts to patronize this place the smell got better and the employees were able to operate freely without the employer hovering over them. On different occasions we noticed that this location would be closed frequently, we assumed that it was due to their inability to keep employees. After a while, we stopped patronizing this place and went to the Conyers location instead. Today, we were in the area and decided to go visit the Morrow location again and what we experienced was once again very unsettling. As we were trying to pay for our dessert, a line began to form because the franchisee employer was online remotely doing something pertaining to the employees payroll which impacted the cash register. This disruption caused us to have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. The employee continued to service other customers, of which 10 more minutes had passed, and had to call the employer to let them know that they were unable to cash out the customers because of this online remote disruption. Finally after a total of 20-30 minutes we were able to pay for our dessert. But while waiting we found out some other unsettling things about this employer 1) during our wait they were changing employers hours despite having worked additional hours than noted on the screen 2) employees were not paid OT worked and 3) tips given by customers add to our credit cards are not fully passed on to them. I've been noticing a precedent on tipping where employees are not FULLY getting their tips when working for various companies from UBER and fast food to restaurants, this practice is happening everywhere frequently. We will no longer be going back to this establishment. We have had enough of poor services. This is why cash is king. Please give those that you tip CASH.

Pulling up to this location, I was enlightened by the fact that it's connected to the gas station. This is the first I have ever seen structured like this. However, though it's connected to the gas station, it still has the cozy feel and awesome smells of the stand alone locations. Walking in, the space has the traditional tan and maroons. The space is small yet they have made great use of it. The staff was very inviting as they welcomed us in. It was his first time at Cold Stone so I had the pleasure of introducing him to the flow of how to order and the abundance of flavor options. He decided on the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor crafted by Cold Stone in a Waffle Bowl where I chose a Sweet Cream base with Oreos. After placing our order, we headed down the line to watch it be made before paying and departing. The process flow is set up with efficiency as well as the 3 staff setup is spot on for the traffic. There are not any seats so be prepared to eat your ice cream on the go. We got in the car and went to town. lol. The ice cream was rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted. The fixings were blended in perfectly as well and everything had its moment to shine. I'm talking about a well crafted soul cooling, sweet tooth pleasing moment of reset, release, and renewal. If you are in the area and need a fix, get you some Cold Stoneeeeeeeeee.

Service was quick and ordering was easy. There is limited seating if you stay to eat your treat. They also have a couch area with a tv in the back. The peach lemonade was a little too sweet for both of us and the Thai tea here is made with half and half instead of sweetened condensed milk. It was still good, just a tad different. I am not exaggerating when I say that this place is a gem hidden in plain sight! The few times I've tried to stop in, they were closed...until last weekend when our family schedule and their hours finally aligned. We tried two of the rolled ice cream tacos and one shake. All were delicious and a large enough portion to share. If I have any critique, it is of myself. I know that I like melty ice cream but because I also like to watch people make rolled ice cream, I went with the taco. It was the wrong choice for me. I loved the flavor but wanted it softer; I should have ordered it as a shake. The staff was friendly, the other patrons were friendly, and the space was pristine. My toddler came in demanding water (because GA summer time) and they quickly prepared her a cup of ice water that kept both toddlers satisfied until their shake was ready. Bonus points for the little sitting area in the back of the shop with a mounted TV playing kiddie movies. That TV took the job of entertaining all three littles while I waiting for our order. tl;dr it's worth it to stop here.
