I don't know why they don't have many reviews in Yelp. I decided to give them a try. I needed an outlet fixed and two new ones installed. They came home as planned and tried their best to find the least invasive way to fulfill my request. Turns out that the outlet was never wired to the circuit and the wiring was old aluminium. They wired it with new wiring. If you are patient, they will get the job done and it will be worth it. Their quote was much better than other 3 companies that I talked to. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CON MAN. I got a bid for upgrading my panel with 3 electricians and Bryan came out the highest at around $3200. The others were about $2700 and $2500. I told him that I would be going with another company and he said he would match it at $2500. He was offering to add a disconnect for the A/C condenser so I decided to go with him. BAD IDEA. It has been a nightmare since. After he got the contract he used inexperienced young guys who did a poor job. At the home inspection, the buyer's inspector found several incorrectly done items including, NOT using AFCI breakers which he bid in the job but did not use claiming that it was due to the wiring. And he also used the wrong oversized amp breakers for the wire sizes causing potential fire hazard risk. If the inspector had not caught it, who knows what may have happened. And to top it off, he increased his invoice by $200 out of the blue at the end of the job saying that the permits were more than he thought it would be. I paid him $2700 out of not wanting to fight about it but felt that he charged extra beyond what his proposal was. My bigger mistake was using him to do some of the extra electrical items that were on the inspection report. I asked him to replace 3 outlets to the GFCI type, fix a switch, and take out an extension wire plug in the attic. What do you think that would cost? I figured 2-3 hours of labor at max and $200-300 max. Well, he charges me $652 saying that it took his guy 1 1/2 days. I replied that I didn't think it should take an experienced electrician that long to repair these issues and that he is overcharging. His response was to let me know that he knows that the house is for sale and that he will put a mechanic's lien on the property for the amount. I have the emails and the letters to prove it all if anyone is interested. It is not the dollar amount that bothers me about this guy, but how he conducts business. He is not trustworthy and I would not use him when there are much better companies out there. He does not do his own work, so expect some young and inexperienced guys to come in to do the job. You have been warned. I also just went to the VA contractor's license board website to try to file a formal complaint and I could not find any company listed under the name Clement Bryan, nor at the address shown above, nor by the company name Bryan Electrical Services LLC. I went to the website link shown here and it says that he is licensed and insured, but there is no license number or bond number shown. I have reached out to Bryan to provide me with his contractor's number. How else would you have passed inspection. I mentioned to you that that would happen and the house would need rewiring. I have had Mr. Bryan come to my home for two separate jobs . The first time to add an outlet in my garage. He did a great job with that, so I had him come out to add an outlet and light switch in my basement. There was a minor glitch that occurred in the basement, which he told us about right away. What I appreciated was that he kept his word and came back to correct the problem. Currently, I believe it's a one man show, so I understand that there can be delays in him being able to arrive when originally expected. However, he always makes the effort to let you know if there will be a delay. His prices are very reasonable and he is both friendly and professional. Would not explain to me in a way I could understand why diagnosing a half house power outage was so expensive. (I don't know anything about electricity in a house or anywhere else apart from how a light switch works.) I felt like he was trying to take advantage of me more than help me with my house because he just kept telling me things without explaining why the services cost so much. $175 just to tell me what's wrong feels too much without a breakdown of why their time costs so much. Mr. Bryan showed up on time for a free estimate. He took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and gave me a reasonable price to fish a cable line through the attic down to where I wanted a tv mounted, hang both the mount and tv, fix a light switch in a bedroom and an outlet in the bathroom. He was flexible in scheduling the time and date to do the work. One of his technicians text me the night before to verify the time. He arrived as scheduled and did the work. The work took longer then I thought it would, but that was the only thing we never discussed. I didn't know how long it should take, so I had left my day opened just for this, so it worked out just fine. He did a complete, professional job. I am satisfied with the outcome. I would recommend this company to others and use them again myself. read more

I had to use them again for a difficult AC project in an old building. They put in the extra time and effort to deal with a very difficult and unhelpful building staff and woefully outdated wiring and electric throughout the building.
