Prices are incredibly high for the quality you get. Their "Thai Tea" was watered down tea mixed with half and half. The orange chicken was chicken tenders in a sickeningly sweet citrus glaze. The mango sticky rice was absolutely drenched in what seemed like sour coconut milk. None of it could be finished. Over $150.00 spent for three people, and the food was extremely disappointing. We were the only ones there the entire time until someone else came in asking for tea. I'm doubtful this place will remain open for very long. Only giving a second star because my sister liked her food. I ordered a Pad See Ew with veggies and no egg. The noodles were very over cooked to the point that they were split into small pieces. The texture was very mushy and gross. The consistency of my sauce was extremely watery and the bits of noodle were just swimming in this watery "sauce". It wasn't very flavorful and too salty. Tried this place for the first time as we are trying to find a new Thai place in Tacoma since moving from Renton. It's been hit or miss and this one is another miss. Ordered a staple classic Pad Thai w/chicken. It did not taste good and for one, never seen this type of color before and it does not look anything like the pictures. The food at BT Thai is good but there are a few things to pay attention to with the menu and placing orders. I was going to place an online order for the sake of saving time but when you look at the online menu the prices come across as unreasonably high. So I waited until I got to the restaurant to place the order. The prices were not the same. The menu on site is much cheaper so definitely keep that in mind. I also ordered sticky rice for which I was hoping for dessert and when I ordered the guy said "Just the regular kind?" in which I said, "Yes". Thinking in my mind it would be sweetened sticky rice by itself instead of say with mangoes or anything else. What I got was unsweetened sticky rice when I got home and looked at what was inside. We made it work it was what I ordered but if you want it sweetened for a dessert be very specific about that when placing the order. As I said the food was very good. No disappointment there at all. I had their Green Curry with Chicken which proved to be excellent. Steve's dish(can't recall what) generated no complaints from him either. I called and placed a to go order, 2 entrees and an appetizer, and drove 12 min to the restaurant on a Friday night and the food was packaged and ready to go when I walked in, I was very impressed by that. I did my usual Pad Thai but with a Thai level 6 spicy and it was amazing. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice for my friend who had never tried Thai before and he loved it, American spicy level 3. Togo food containers are crap and can't handle hot heavy food. While driving home my wife was holding the food in her lap. Suddenly she started screaming and shouting I'm burning. If you can't handle heat don't go to the three star. Everything was amazing, tasted fresh and arrived hot. The sticky sweet sticky rice was exactly what I wanted, sweet and sticky AF I loved how they put a extra side of coconut milk too. If your anything like me you love added bonuses and sauce! The Pad Thai was mouth watering. The star rating I find to usually be a little off at more Thai places, but definitely not here. They are super on point about it, I got 3 stars and for me it was the perfect amount of spicy. Now for the egg rolls. Texture was great, this to me is important and they were fried just the right amount. They definitely kept the grease leaves on point too. There's nothing I hate more than to have over cooked egg rolls that are greasy AF. I don't know if they deliver, I got it through Uber eats but it came within 30 minutes. I also have no clue about the parking at the actual restaurant, but I'm assuming it's not a problem since most places in this area have it. After all weren't not Seattle. Perfectly Balanced - Proportions, Flavor, Freshness! I ordered the Red Curry, Pad See Ew, and Egg Rolls through Uber Eats. Whoever cooked the food tonight was ON FIRE and probably tasted everything they cooked! Salt, heat, sweetness, fat, acidity, all in perfect balance. I can tell that the ingredients were fresh and ripe and the food was not overhandled during cooking. I was blown away by the quality of my meal tonight. Proportions were HUGE and packaged thoughtfully. The ratio of meat to veggies to noodles were just right. I'm so impressed with the flavor that eating 1/4 of my meal left me feeling satisfied -- and I can eat huge quantities! Just visited here for the first time tonight and it was a great experience. It is very clean and nice inside and the staff was attentive and kind. There is lots on the menu to choose from and multiple categories from appetizers to drinks and desserts. I like that they serve pop in a can not from a fountain because I have like no faith in those things ever getting properly cleaned out. My daughter said her hot chocolate was very good and I got the Thai iced coffee also very good. I ordered tofu pad Thai and the kids had chickem bt Yakisoba and rice. They looooved it and ate nearly the whole plate which came out very very quickly. My pad Thai was great too, good flavor and texture plus I had lots to take home I got it 3 spicy and it wasn't very spicy at all. We also got a banana split and black sticky rice with taro for dessert and for my son with allergies they had an abundant bowl of mini lollipops that he could choose from. I believe presentation is really important here and I think that represents their pride they have in their restaurant. There were flowers adorning the plates, umbrellas and flags in the desserts and Christmas decor throughout. I would definitely recommend and would return. read more

This place is on point. All of the food portions were are huge. The spring rolls were awesome they were fresh. Like they picked right from the garden seconds ago. The coconut prawns fresh lime caught them that morning and when you bite into those you can taste the coconut. When order your meals you get chose the heat factor or your dish. 3 is just right. BT Thai provided food for a party that I went to. The food was incredible. The egg rolls were cooked perfectly, and the ratio of roll to filling was spot on. I don't like egg rolls that are dripping in oil, or over cooked, or over stuffed--these egg rolls were perfection. We had a beef salad which was great, some fried rice which was also delicious. I wish I could remember the other offerings, but everything was great. This is hands down the best Thai food in the area. I would absolutely go out of my way to eat here, and so should you. read more
