A solid choice for pad thai in Tacoma's stadium district. Owner took my order. He is super friendly and eager to please! They have a big selection of sodas. Pad thai came piping hot, and a good portion in my to-go box. I ordered 4/5 spice and it was definitely spicy! Spice level became more manageable as my noodles cooled down. Not the most authentic pad thai I've had but still tasty. Lunch order came with 3 gyoza and a soda. With tax and tip, this meal was ~$20. I wish I had asked for some utensils so that I could stop at the park and have a picnic, the weather was great. Ambiance is quaint, simple, and plain. The location is very small with limited parking!

Service: you order at the front and pick your food up when dining in. Cutlery and spices are next to the register, bus yourself up when you leave. Easy peasy. Friendly staff. Food: delicious, I like that when I ask for level 4/5 spice they give it. All fresh ingredients.

What a great service! Food was great too! It's a bit salty for me but everything was fresh! Ambience is great. You bass your own plates. Price was a bit expensive. I paid a few dimes shy from $20 for lunch. I love how they are serving for the community giving discounts for first responders. I love that. I will definitely come back!!!! I recommend this place!

Found this restaurant near Tacoma General,, great reviews so i checked it out. Ordered my favorite Thai meal...Basel Fried Rice with chicken and tofu. It was so good and spicy. i enjoyed it. I also ordered the fresh Rolls - they were okay but very fresh. A great contrast to the hot rice dish. Service was nice. Parking is very unique. It took me a minute to figure it out. You definitely need to be creative.

As always so good here. It's a sunny Saturday and all is well in the neighborhood. We were out doing yardwork and house cleaning. So we got hungry NOW! Came down and got hot fresh food. Hubby with fried tofu and Masaman curry. It's so good here!!!! I had pad see Mau with chicken, mushroom, bamboo shoot etc wide noodles. Same sauce as Pad see Ewe. Sooo good. Now our bellies are full and prob gonna nap lmao but need to do more work. So till next time. Thank you ladies.

The online menu says they aren't taking orders right now and no one is answering the phone since yesterday. Have they closed?

Heather, Amara had to go to Thailand to see family and will reopen restaurant on July 11th. Thank you and hope to see you then.

I recently met up with a friend from high school here for lunch, and this visit was extra special…read morebecause we hadn't seen each other since we were about 17! A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

I'd just gotten off the train from eating and drinking my way around Portland and you couldn't welcome me back with a few more choices for a good meal? But since I ended up at Thai Pepper, all was forgiven. Hands down, their pumpkin curry is on my list of all time top ten favorite foods. It's spicy, it's sweet, it's nutty, it's soothing -- it has pumpkin. The curry sauce is so good I poured what I had leftover on my mashed potatoes the next day. Everything about Thai Pepper rocks. The service is great and so is the vibe. Our waiter didn't even introduce themselves and it took us 30 minutes to get water after asking. Our drinks came out all at separate times, I had to remind him for my mom's prebiotic soda, which he served in the can, no glass and didn't open it. Our meals all came out at different times as well.
