Thai Noodle Soup Chicken & Shrimp
    Ann R.

Excellent food. I ordered the Golden Cashew with Chicken and it was perfect! I would of loved some mushrooms in it but I survived. My guy ordered the Thai Noodle Soup with Chicken and Shrimp the broth was very tasty and the noodles kept growing. Needless to say we took most of this dish home. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient with beverages and requests.

Great food great service! This is my go to spot for panang curry I love the flavor and the mix. Chicken wings were nicely fried and our tofu fried rice was flavorful. We didn't really enjoy the mango sticky rice dessert but overall the service and quality of food was excellent. Our server not sure her name was helpful and friendly. Parking is located all over and lots of seating

I have been going to lunch here for years. They are always friendly and serve great food. My favorite is Red Curry Chicken and Pad Thai but the Swimming Rama is also very good. The lunch combos are very reasonably priced and you get so much food! If you are in the Tacoma Mall neighborhood stop by here. You won't be disappointed.

Ordered Mango fried rice with chicken and for some reason they added shrimp as well. I ordered 5 star spice but turns out they don't use spice seasoning like most Thai places, they just cut up a piece of chili pepper and toss it in. The overall dish is just so so so bland and lacks flavor. Never again.

I've been coming here for over a decade, this is probably my favorite Thai place ever and whenever I get Thai elsewhere I always find myself always comparing to Thai hut 2s food and service. I recently moved back in state and had been craving good Thai food, especially since finding good Thai food in the south is next to impossible. I convinced my friend to come check it out with me and what do you know the same lady that's been working here since I started frequenting this place over a decade ago was still here. And she remembered me too! This is the type of relationship I want with every establishment I visit lol. But seriously they make you feel so welcome here. Now for the food, I've pretty much tried most of their menu over the years and I love it all. Some favorites are their crab cream cheese wontons, spring rolls, curries, and their noodle dishes have never disappointed. They have an awesome lunch menu as well and do yourself a favor while you're here and order their Thai tea to drink, you will not regret it. This is a hidden gem amongst Thai food in Tacoma and service is always so welcoming.

This place serves some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Ordered take out and the food smelled so good I forgot to take pictures before we started digging in. Also they serve some bomb Thai tea, highly recommend if you enjoy those. Service is excellent and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Will becoming back to eat in next time!

spent 80 dollars, fried spare ribs, was small 4 pieces for 9.95, fried combination rice, too much onions, chicken on the stick terrible, mostly everything we ordered was terrible and our first time eating from this place!! Never going to eat at this place!!!!

Green Curry, Pad Thai, fresh roll.

Tried Thai Hut 2 for the first time today. Wow, It was really good. Will definitely be back.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat back in high school. But lately, not so much due to the service. The food has always been spot on, consistently. The past few times have not been different. My favorite things to get are the pad see ew and pad thai. Both are always really good and delicious, every time. The thai tea tastes amazing as well. But the service the past two times I was here was very lackluster. Both times, the servers were inattentive, unknowledgeable, and unhelpful with the questions we had. The previous time I was here, the server seemed more concerned with her phone. It would nice if the servers were more engaging and showed a little more interest in their customers, but the food, as always, was excellent.

A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

For a long time I got Drunken Noodles whenever going to a Thai restaurant if I could but the last few times I have wanted something different than that. So on this outing I got the the House Ginger. This was a stir fry with your choice of protein (mine was chicken), ginger, stir fry sauce, garlic, onion, bell pepper, green onion and carrot. It also came with rice and the portion sizes were very satisfying and not too much. The flavor on my meal was so good, very fresh and bursting with flavor. Steve was equally impressed with his as he got the Drunken Noodles. Nothing is too fancy here. Decor is more basic but the place is clean and the food (at least mine) came out in containers but it was so good it didn't really matter. I think a lot if how it's presented is for the "to go" crowd of customers if I remember hearing that correctly from other people I chatted with about their meals here. Overall, Thai cuisine is a great choice. Environment: I arrived around 2:00 PM, and since it was past the lunch rush, there weren't many customers. The environment was very clean, with bright and spotless windows. Taste: I ordered the chicken with rice and added a portion of green curry beef. The chicken with rice was the restaurant's recommendation. It was impressive at first bite and quite enjoyable, but it became saltier as I ate toward the end. The portion of chicken was modest, so overall, it's still recommended. As for the green curry beef, it wasn't very rich, and the beef was scarce. I had expected chunks of beef, but what came out was sliced beef coated in starch. The texture wasn't great, so I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Service: The service was good. The staff came over to ask how the meal was, always serving with a smile.
