Delicious lunch for the family on a rainy Sunday! Service was excellent and pho and ramen dishes were on point.

I absolutely love this restaurant! They replaced another Asian restaurant in the same location but they are far better! The restaurant itself looks the same inside which is nice because I always loved the Budda mural wall in the back of the restaurant. The service has been decent, not great. The food however is phenomenal! All of it! My favorites are the amazing house wings that are also gluten free. They are super crispy and delicious. I highly recommend them! The beef noodle pho soup is also pho...nomenal! I just had to say it! The pho here is the real deal! I highly recommend it! The Young Coconut Juice is also top notch and comes with delicious pieces of coconut to eat after you drink the juice. I have been ordering take out more than eating in house. It usually takes a little longer to be ready than you'll be told on the phone. The quality of the food makes it worth it. Staff team were super friendly and kind, the bubba pho broth was on par with my grandmothers home cooked broth and Pho88 broth. Came here last night and I'll start off by saying I'm not well versed in noodle/Asian cuisine dining. I was pleasantly surprised by how great everything was. Small building and a bit elbow to elbow with other people but nothing too crazy. Waiter was friendly and accommodating and clearly very busy. Service was a bit slow but by no means was it a problem. Got the espresso martini which was great, and my friend got a glass of wine and we started with the bao crispy tofu buns which were excellent. I had the bulgogi beef udon which was incredible. What an amazing gem in downtown Manchester! Meghan was our server. She was fun and attentive to all our needs. That food was outstanding. We started off with the fried calamari and some dumplings. Fiiiiinally! A solid pho place in lil ole Manchestah, New Hampshuh! I'll go as far to say Buba has the best pho in all of NH...but there wasn't much competition to begin with. I moved up here about a year ago and have literally been disappointed with every pho place I've tried so I'm verrrry happy Buba decided to open up its doors on the corner of Lowell and Elm. The service could use some work but they're still relatively new and the food is good so I'm happy. Their menu is pretty small so I'm hoping they will expand on it sometime in the near future. $10 for a regular bowl of pho and $12 for a large bowl...a little pricier than what I'm used to but I'm willing to pay $10 for a good bowl of pho if I don't have to drive all the way to Lowell, MA for it. The pho broth is very rich and flavorful. The noodles have the perfect texture - not too mushy. Meats are good. The side of bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeños it came with were fresh. They actually forgot to give us our spoons, veggies and hoisin/sriracha sauce so we had to go up and ask them...but it's ok. The crispy squid was delicious! This is the first time that I've been disappointed at Bubba noodle. I ordered a P2 just brisket with extra onion. Asked them to hold the Sharika sauce and the lime's as I did not used them. The soup was served first, no one had provided utensils, or the plate of bean sprouts so when the new waiter who did not seem to care, brought over the bean sprouts, I asked him if it was a large, and he said yes, and walked away. I expected him to ask me why? He did not. I had to summon him again, as I did not have any chopsticks. So you are gonna ask how I know the difference between a regular and large soup. First I love PHO and eat here regularly. When I go with my wife, she gets a regular and I get the large. Today The soup did not have enough broth in it. It barely covered the material inside. When I get the check, I looked at what was ordered and it was a regular rare beef and brisket extra onion. I read about Buba Noodle Bar, so my wife and I decided to try it. It was FABULOUS! How did we not know about this restaurant for all the time it has been here. The staff was very friendly, the ambiance was warm and the food was beyond our expectations; fresh and clean flavors...just terrific! I had the spicy miso ramen. My wife had the pho ga; and we both shared the crab rangoon egg roll and pork gyoza...hit the spot!!! We have since ordered another dinner for home delivery. WOW what an amazing place! This is some of the best food I've ever had. My friends and I split the Angry Noodle and Hot Chicken Bao Buns and the appetizers. I read in other tell reviews the the angry Noodle was too spicy, however I must disagree. It is definitely a spicy dish, but if you are used to eating traditional vietnamese, thai, korean etc type of food, you will find this level of spice is just right. If you are someone who orders "mild" chicken wings, it'll be too spicy for you. The noodles are soft and delicious, slightly thick in a creamy nutty spicy sauce. The bok choy was cooked perfectly. The chicken bao buns were absolutely delicious. The buns were soft and spongey, the chicken was a thick crunchy satisfying batter with perfectly cooked moist chicken inside. Comes with two, so great to share! I had the Buba Pho and it was the best broth I've had, hands down. It was so flavorful on its own, but I did add the basil, lime, spicy house paste, and a bit of fish sauce in the broth. Beautiful long rice noodles that are the perfect chewy texture. We stopped here on the way home from the White Mountains. I was craving ramen and saw this place here. I had the chicken ramen and it was outstanding. My husband had the beef pho and said it was some of the best he's had on the East Coast. We shared the pork gyoza appetizer (steamed not fried) and were both impressed at how fresh it tasted. We wish we'd each had our own order. We didn't have a drink, but the cocktail menu looked very fun. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. Following Christmas Eve Mass we visited several places in downtown Manchester but all were closed. Thank goodness Buba's was open. They were about to close but stayed open for our family of 5 incl 3 teenagers. The food was delicious, the house was very friendly, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere is really nice and they have a full bar and draft beer. For an appetizer, we choose the waitress's favorite - pork belly bao. They were like little tacos with carrots & cilantro. The bun was really good, something I've never tried before. Very interesting combo, we enjoyed it and were glad we asked for the suggestion because we wouldn't have tried it otherwise. As an entree, I got the Tom Yum soup, lots of lemongrass, chicken and beans sprouts with rice noodles. Long time favorite of mine and I was not disappointed. Perfect flavor. My husband got the pineapple fried rice. It looked good, but I was like hey I have this amazing thing over here, and he's eating fried rice. Then I took a bite. OMG the rice was amazing! It had the most wonderful sweetness to it. I could that eat that rice every day. And there were plenty of shrimp in it. I'm actually quite glad he ordered it, because I might have missed out on some amazingness. Our server was attentive and very nice. Everybody was helping each other out. The servers were very friendly and the decor was very pleasing. I wish I had more room for more food but I was stuffed. If you haven't ever tried a bao bun, I'd say give it a shot because it was surprisingly delicious. I didn't know what these were and my friends suggested we get them and I'm now a fan. I've been coming back and trying different dishes here. So far my favorite dish is the chicken pho (chicken noodle soup) and the beef pho. The broth is so flavorful and delicious. Wish I had taken more photos to show you. Those two dishes get a 5/5 stars from me. The regular size is more than enough to satisfy me. They also have a kid noodle soup for both beef and chicken pho (just comes in smaller portion but still decent size for $1-2 dollars less). The grilled beef vermecilli= 4/5 stars. It's very good and the grilled beef is marinated and flavorful. It is served with vermecilli noodles and fish sauce. You can also add a crispy roll which I recommend. Now backtracking to apps: The crispy calamari is 5/5 stars. It doesn't come with any dipping sauce which is too bad, but it is very flavorful. Also this dish is gluten free which is an added bonus. Panko crusted shrimp is delicious. Would give this app a 3.5/5. The shrimp is moist and the panko covering is nice and crisp. It is served with a siracha aoli which was a bit too spicy for my taste. Wish it came with other sauces. Fresh spring rolls is a 5/5. one order comes with 2 rolls. This app is light and fresh. It comes with Thai basil leaves, vermicelli, lettuce, shrimp ( can be substituted for tofu) and served with a peanut sauce. Crispy egg rolls get a 3/5 for me. Comes with 3 egg rolls/order. Is nice and crispy but sometimes tastes too oily for me. Comes with a sweet and sour sauce. I would order this again. read more

My fiancé and I absolutely love this place. We love to go on Tuesdays when they have their discounted menu. Their service isn't the best but luckily the food is amazing. Saigon noodle used to be our go to for pho but unfortunately the owner has since sold her business. I can not stress enough how much I love this place and how I'm happy we found it. Their food is great and the drinks are great. I'm a huge fan of their Thai iced tea! My go to is a regular number 3 which is their beef and meatball pho. I feel as if the regular is perfect size for me personally but if I want leftovers I get the large. We've also tried pretty much every appetizer. The wings take quite a while to cook so if you aren't starving I'd recommend them. I would also recommend their bao buns! We have brought pretty much every friend my fiancé and I have here and everyone seems to love it! Even my picky friends. Had a great time at Buba Noodle Bar. This is definitely the best Raman place we have tried in Manchester. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. They have Tuesday specials on most of the food so I plan to visit again on a Tuesday. We ordered drinks and they seemed to have a good amount of alcohol which is always a plus when spending $10+ for a drink. Here we go: We ordered gyoza and kimchi roll for appetizers. They were both very good. We would order it again. Next time we want to try the calamari, people seem to like it. We ordered the spicy miso ramen and the beef ramen. My favorite was the miso ramen because it was spicy and had great flavor. All the components of the miso ramen came together to make awesome flavor profile.The beef ramen had a strong beef broth flavor which was fantastic! Supporting local businesses is important, and Buba is a great addition to the Elm Street district in Manchester. I spent a lot of time in the area a number of years ago growing up in the greater area, and Manchester has seemed to see a lot of changes--more businesses/restaurants, development. Buba is a welcoming, cozy place, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. I had the spicy miso ramen which had the right amount of spice for a colder, winter New England day. Pretty decent Vietnamese food. We ordered the pho, Bao and the beef vermicelli. They were very skimpy with the meat in the pho broth but it was tasty. I'm used to go to Dorchester and have bomb Vietnamese food, the amount of meats and veggies in each plate is massive. That would be my only complaint. The place looks nice kind of modern vibes. This noodle bar is a real deal. The soups and ramen are stellar and the small plates were we tried were a hit. We were disappointed that they were out of quite a few things, from entrees to Pepsi. We ordered panko crusted shrimp, gyoza, bao buns, buba noodle and yaki udon. The soups are the stars and they are served in what could be described as a tub. The shrimp and gyoza were full of flavor, but the bao buns were cold and the chicken seemed like it was tough from being re-heated. The interior has been home to several restaurants, and it is worn. There were fruit flys at the table and in the bathroom, which were super annoying. But the service was good, the food delicious and there is a pay lot right next door. This place is a great new addition to Manchester. We tried the bao buns and spring rolls. They were tasty for sure, would have loved to try the pho, maybe next time. I think the food is good the vibe inside is great. The prices are a bit more that most Vietnamese restaurants I often go to so this is the reason for only giving it a 4, if the prices were a little lower I'd give it more stars. ***update 10/08/18 I returned to try the pho and an ice coffee. The pho was mediocre at best. The broth was bland and there was maybe .5 oz of meat. That was the worst. For $11.00 for a small bowl I would expect more beef in there it wasn't even enough for 3 bites of soup. Very disappointed. The iced coffee was good but would have been better if they actually filled the glass and it was a small glass. For the price you pay it's not worth my return to this establishment. I was excited to try this spot but unfortunately was underwhelmed! Food was fine but nothing incredible - and we waited 45 minutes for our entrees. On food, we tried the vegetable dumplings appetizer (nothing special but wouldn't order again). For main courses we got the yaki udon noodles with tofu and the kho tai clay-pot (waiter recommendation) with chicken. Both were 3 stars. The most frustrating part was how slow the service was. Our waiter was friendly and clearly working hard, but the restaurant was packed and it seemed as through he (and maybe the kitchen staff too?) was overworked because everything took a while. He did a great job keeping out water glasses full and giving menu recommendations, but the wait for our food was too long.
