I didn't know to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience and the space. It's a trendy Mexican fusion destination! The place has a modern, clean vibe with a casual, friendly atmosphere. There are a few skater boards on the walls that add a pop of color and character. The place has tables or very comfy booths if you're staying for your meal. It wasn't super busy when I went, so I got through the line quickly, and the staff were helpful and upbeat. I shared that I'm a first-timer, and they were super invested into helping me make a selection and even recommend sauces. They brought my order to the table where I was waiting, and were just extremely friendly! Without hesitation, excellent service! I ordered Pineapple Express Burrito that overwhelmed me with its size and the serving of ingredients! It was hefty and pretty tasty! You could tell the chicken had been cooked just right--not dry, and it had good flavor. I also ordered Southwest Potstickers. In all honesty, the latter wasn't my favorite. I felt like they were too flavor-forward, almost too zesty. The menu also had other pre-built options or build your own. I'd go back for sure. The first time I ordered from this place I got a bulk order or Thai chili chicken wings from uber eats - even my parents liked those wings and they don't like the food I order to the house usually. The second order I got was also from uber eats I think it was a buy one get one chicken burrito. There was rice it was like similar to chipotle but less complex toppings like a nice simple burrito. The hibachi steak and shrimp burrito looks so delish but I haven't ordered that yet and they have a lot of loaded fries on the menu that looks good really rich dishes on the menu! Maybe next time after I try some of those items my review will change but it's decent food overall and the price is average on these items. read more

I worked food service for 10 years prior to working construction. As a cook and a bartender. The staff was rude and non communicative. The kitchen was filthy and the grills looked like they hadn't been cleaned all week. Mind you this was at 1:00 in the afternoon. Their pico and corn salsa was shriveled and looked as if it was prepped 2 weeks prior to use. I made it through about 2 bites before throwing my food away. There are absolutely no redeeming qualities to this location. Food was disgusting, employees are stand offish, portions were small, and the restaurant and kitchen should be flagged for a health code violation. I strongly recommend saving your money and your health, and just go across the street to chipotle. Will never be back and will strongly advise anyone I know to never go here. read more

This is the second time in three months this place has let me down with service. Not many people in line and in person taking inside orders and two working on online orders. Should be the other way around. This store needs to figure out the service side of the business. Poor business. It's not even a dinner rush this is after dinner and this slow. I went to the e Royalton bubbakoos store. There was a very uneasy feeling in the store, a feeling of racism. The young lady was making my order, another customer came in behind me. The other worker ( young lady) who I feel was avoiding taking my order. Started making the persons order behind me, he was giving her instructions on what to put in his meal. Totally disregard the fact that I am giving instructions on my meal being assembled. Where the young lady is now reaching over my food to fix his order. It was so disrespectful that I had to say.. Damn!!! Can you get your elbow out of my salad, literally her elbow was almost touching my food. Did she care , No. she looked at me like she didn't understand, but she knew exactly what she doing. We tried Bubbakoo's for the first time tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. I see other reviews comparing it to chipotle, which is very fair, but I felt that Bubbakoo's had elements that set it apart like the service and the sauces. The menu is honestly kind of overwhelming but the person that helped us was happy to provide enthusiastic recommendations which was helpful. They immediately sold me on the chiwawa which is a crispy cheese and rice ball. I got it with the queso and fajita veggies (basically peppers and onions). They take the time to mix the topping with your sauce of choice (half parm, half buffalo for me per the recommendation) which means every single bite is super flavorful. We also got the chips and queso (delish) and the buffalo cauliflower bites (decent but not my favorite). I am looking forward to going back to try some more sauces, their tots, and their desserts! read more

Quite good, but the brown rice in my burrito bowl was overcooked and flavorless. On the plus side, the carnitas was very tasty and the guacamole was delicious and plentiful. Service was lovely and helpful. I'll definitely go back and try something a bit different but this is my go to at Chipotle or Moes, so it was a good place to start and compare. read more

How awesome dinner was. We walked in and were greeted which was awesome. The presentation of food and explanations made us get food we loved. The staff stopped to ensure everything was as we wanted. They also delivered a dessert. The server that prepared are dishes stopped by several times and showed how much he liked us dropping in and trying things for the first time. Stopped here for the first time tonight, and it was amazing. The moment we stepped in the door, we were happily greeted by all of the staff. The menu has a great variety, and definitely gives me many reasons to go back for another visit. I ordered the mango habanero grilled chicken taco bowl, and it was fantastic! While the food was excellent, the best thing about this place was the customer service. All the staff had smiles on their faces and you could tell that they genuinely enjoy what they do. First impressions mean ALOT! I was excited to try a new place but should of known when there were NO customers inside. I walked in and said "wow, I have never been here!" outloud of course...and the staff had a very blank look on there faces, almost the one you see in horror movies when the character sees a ghost in the mirror's reflection?-moving on..I ordered the Barbacoa burritto with all fixing including hot sauces and peppers. As he burrito barrista tried stuffing it all into the flour blanket, most of it spilled out so she had to do a "do over" so she shook the guts out of the old one and put into into a new flour cover. I watched her twist the new burrito as the old one lay flat and folded with much of the goodies still clinging to the flour coat. from the look of it all I thought it would be great eating, but the burrito was a COMPLETE let down. Bland, dry, no love left a horrid dry taste on my tongue and no seasoning at all! for 10 bucks? plus the customer service was subpar...back to ohio city burrito! read more

Absolutely horrible second experience! My first order was just for me and I ordered at the counter. Everything went fantastic so I thought I would try ordering with the app, the ordering part was the best part of dinner. When I picked up my $50 food it was being placed on the rack as I walked in! That was good. When I arrived home and opened the bags I found my burritos labeled 1 & 2 I believe (it was hard to tell exactly what was written) so I looked at the online order receipt and assumed that 1 was the first burrito ordered, well I was wrong. After taking a bite of #1 I realized that it was someone else's food! Great. How hard is it to label either what the food actually is or give us the ability to add names to each item! Now I have $50 worth of garbage since nobody is going to eat something I took a bite of and mine was opened to see what was in there and now it looks like a very messy taco. Horrible experience.
