Good place to eat, but please don't rush the patrons. A friend & I walked in and went directly the the big menu on the left wall. Just the 2 of us. Within 10 seconds, the cashier asked us to please move toward the register to allow others room to also access the menu on the wall. Uh, there were no "others"behind us at all. Not one person was in line behind or in front of us. That seemed a little strange to ask somebody to move when it was not even close to being necessary. It bordered on being rude. If you order water, they will charge a $1.00 for the plastic cup. It would be nice if we were informed of that when ordering. I would have passed on the water. The menu did not indicate the price of a cup for water. Or charge 25 cents...but $1.00. Dang. Again, yes the food is good and reasonably priced. Fun place to stop by for lunch when visiting Hot Springs. It has a small town diner feel with classic American food. They have great prices and do not skimp on serving size making them great for large families. They are also pet friendly. The owner is exceptionally kind. Its OK, no flavor. I am a cheeseburger connoisseur and know a good one when I taste it. I sat and watched them make the food and didn't see any seasoning in sight. I felt it may have been OK because the beef looked like fresh quality meat and may have been the exception to the rule, no, please use seasoning. I was excited when I saw the buns on the grill, because I like my buns to be grilled. When I bit Into the burger it tasted like it was never on there. What happened? The fries were on POINT! Best part of the meal and shareable. I would advise to share unless you are greedy. I would skip this, unless you like being part of the in crowd. We popped in here on St. Patrick's Day. The staff, maybe owners, were so friendly. Even though it was super crowded because of the day, they got food out quickly and with a kind attitude. The burgers were delicious! The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the menu is pretty limited. The toppings they did have were very good though! Great job, and great place! We were in Hot Springs on the Fourth of July with a small group including a baby and a toddler. Bubbalu's offered a fabulous meal, perfect for us. The burgers were amazing. Some of the best I'd had in awhile--and I know good burgers. The onion rings were perfect. But the service was over the top. I have strolled by on my yearly visits for the last 8 years and actually never noticed this place. If my bride had not been Jonesing for a burger I might still have never noticed the joint. The grill is right in front of your face. It's very clean, no secrets behind closed doors. The burgers are basic....toasted bun, meat with little seasoning and veggies, but it works. I'll return again just to chat with the owner, he was just so damn friendly while his bride flipped the burgers. read more

Great food, great service! When you walk in you look at the menu, walk to register and order your food. You then try to find a table or a seat at the counter, as it is extremely crowded. It use to be better when the previous owners were there. They were a little older so they probably retired. The food was the same as when they first opened....which is good. Service was fine as well. It just seems that most of the employees seemed that they didn't want to be there. All employees should be dressed alike....bring back the team spirit! Can't say much about food, couldn't try cause place closed at 4pm 5 nites while I was there and I had to work til 5like a normal person. Guess they think people don't get hungry later, they lost my business Uggghhhh, update to review... returned on a Fri months later when they were supposed to be open until 7pm. Guess what, they were closed again, this time until 2/8 for winter break. At least post something so yelp user aren't constantly disappointed. This place is a joke, hope they at least don't use last yrs food when they reopen. Wonder if they are ever open, been here 3 times over past yr and still not even seen a hot dog.
