Had to come back! I came for dinner on a weekday. we sat in the garage, the doors were open because it was cool outside. our server Sabrina greeted us quickly and took our drinks & appetizers order.. I ordered the Chipotle hot wings and I definitely recommend them. They are spicy but have some sweetness. I ordered the 12 oz. ribeye with the side salad and broccoli. It was perfect ! This was our second time coming here and we are still disappointed, I tried giving them a chance. Although the hostess was pretty nice, she did seat us right near the bar knowing we had our 2 year old son. The waitress, Sara was just horrible, it seemed to us she was on something for sure. She was slurring and was trying her hardest to keep up with us. When she finally brought us our food , she looked at our tray confused and started scratching her hair all over my boyfriends plate...SICK! she continued to say why did he put bubbas sauce you wanted gravy! I must say my chicken strips and mash were pretty good. Just wish we had a better server for a happier experience! I don't see how the manager let her work. Will not be coming back!!! read more

Excellent burgers! My son had the aloha burger and it was so stacked I didn't think he would be able to fit it in his mouth! It had ham and pineapple on it, looked wonderful. I had the small wedge salad and chicken tenders, it was all good! The only reason not a 5 was the wait when we entered even though it wasn't busy. The rest of our experience was good. read more

Went with 3 other adults and two children, were told the wait would be 20-30min yet they seated us before my hubby could finish his beer. Less then ten minutes of waiting and they had TWO tables for us, we kindly told them we only needed one and our server Celeste took our drink order. The place was busy but she was very attentive to our needs all while being perky and energetic. My kiddos ordered chicken strips and kids pizza, they are picky and gobbled it all up! I ordered the sunshine burger medium well and it was delicious! My hubby ordered a habanero burger and he devoured it. The fries are thin cut, perfectly crisp and seasoned which makes them better then the average fry in my opinion. Beer and vodka specials are nice since we were able to keep the bill surprisingly low (under 50$). For us when the food and service is so good and the prices are great why not go?! read more

I've been here multiple times and have never gotten ID'd. I am a 24 year old female. I was at a table with both of my parents and my boyfriend. The waitress asked for my ID but not my boyfriends (he is two years older like it matters lol) and she only asked for my ID. I forgot my ID at my work and it's the weekend so i didn't have it. Even though it's Texas law that i can legally drink with my parents regardless they still wouldn't allow it. I felt it was very rude that they refused to ID my 26 year old boyfriend but they HAD to have mine. My mother tried to order a second drink while she already had one and they said she can only have one at a time. I have been a server before a know that you are allowed two drinks at a time. We tried for our very first time Bubba's 33 AND we HIGHLY recommend it. Vicky Cantu our waitress/ manager recommended the bubba's fiesta dip as an appetizer and it was delicious!!! She also recommended the Blue Ocean drink. I loved it!!! While we were enjoying our delicious meal of the Meaty Meaty pizza marketing manager Lauren came by our table and gave us a run through of all the specials they have here at Bubba's 33. We are now anxious to come back. Finally the Manager Kylie came by and handed us a few goodies (koozie, call ahead seating coupon, and a free appetizer for next visit) needless to say we had the best service I have ever had at a restaurant in Corpus Christi and we will definitely be repeat customers. Having dinner there to walk out to my truck broken into and items stolen. The manager on duty NEVER came to check on the situation once he was notified. Come to find out they only have cameras for the two entrances into the parking lot. Better news this is not the first time someone's vehicle has been broken into only 3 weeks ago on the front row same thing happened .. Had lunch at Bubba's 33 with my family and some friends. We were quickly seated by the host staff and our drink orders were promptly taken. Menus were conveniently located at the table and we were able to quickly make our selections. The exterior of building is new and appealing to the eye. The interior is open with nice decor and seating. We were in the "garage" area seated near the bar which was well stocked with good high marks in liquor and a great selection of draft beers. Since it was a workday I had to pass on an adult beverage. For those who follow my posts you know I am a wing fan and I am always looking for the perfectly prepared chicken appendage. My wife and son went with their standby order of burgers and fries. Our food was promptly delivered with a minimum wait. The food was tasty and I especially like the thin style fries that accompanied the burgers. My wings were good. The plating presentations were very appealing. The burgers were a bit too wet for me. I prefer not to have to cut it in half to keep it from falling apart but my wife and son were not deterred at all and proceeded to enjoy with gusto. I did find the noise level to be too high. I was unable to communicate with people sitting across the round table in front of us which made for some awkward conversation. The prices are reasonable for a full service restaurant, waitstaff were good and food preparation time was acceptable. In addition to regular lunch and dinner options It is a great place to meet friends after work for drinks and appetizers. I do recommend Bubba's 33. read more

I waited a few weeks to try this place out to let the hype die down. I went for a late lunch. They open at 3. We were greeted and seated promptly as we were literally the only patrons. I ordered a milkshake. The waitress, Ally(I believe) was super nice and attentive. Something was up with the ice cream machine and I ended up canceling the milkshake and getting a soda instead. My friend and I split the cheese fries and 6 mild wings for an appetizer. The cheese fries were yummy. The basket was super full. The serving size is enough for a group of 4-5 to share during an outing. The wings had a good flavor. I prefer spicier but I was sharing with someone who prefers the opposite. Either way, the sauce was good. Not too vinegary like other places. The wings were cooked perfectly and were nothing like you get from pizza delivery. I'll definitely order them again on my own terms. As for our meals, we both ordered burgers. Mine was the bacon guacamole. I ate most of it which is a miracle by itself. The guacamole was the real deal. It was good all by itself which is rare when you're not at a Mexican restaurant and even then it's not always great. The only thing I didn't like about the burger was the amount of bread. I was over the bun at the halfway mark. Also, I wish I would have chilled out on the cheese fries bc the burgers come with 14 million more. All in all I liked it, service was good, food was good. Terrific sporty atmosphere for the family. The 360-degree setup with TVs makes every seat in the house a good one regardless of which game you're watching. My family started with the spiral cheese sticks and fried pickles. The batter was light and tasty. Didn't taste thick and heavy like some chain restaurants that drop them in oil right out of the freezer. Some of us had the burgers. The meat was so tasty and the buns were toasted perfectly. The pizzas had a perfect thin crust. My kids had root beer floats. If I'd known how big they'd be, I would've made them share. But how can anyone complain about getting too much of a good thing? They were delicious. The service was great! Our waitress Mandi was very attentive and did a terrific job with our group of 9. We look forward to getting back to Corpus soon for a return trip to Bubba's! read more

My latest visit was Wednesday night 4/4/2018, they were promoting a deal to sign up with text and get a free pizza, so I did, but when the text came in with the link to click on, the link said it was broken and could not be displayed. The absolute worst service and food. We were seated promptly as it was not busy at all. Maybe 5 tables where filled, we waited for 10 minutes before my husband had to retrieve our waitress. The manager came over and apologized for the wait and she tells us that she had to send our server home because I quote " she was bleeding threw" a saficiant personal issue would of been fine she didn't need to give details. Very unprofessional stay classy Corpus. When we finally gave our order and received our food there was a lovely black hair in my food yuck... I am a blond so it wasn't mine. After the other manager came by and apologized and they did take it off our bill. We had to wait for 30 minutes to receive our bill. In all we will never be back, stay clear terrible service. First and last time going to this place. Wait on a Thursday night was an hour and a half just to be seated. Once seated the waitress got our orders, and that took another hour to be served. Can't believe they still got the orders wrong considering how long they took (I only ordered a salad ). No appetizer was ever brought either. To top it off, the chicken on my salad was plain no seasoning... nothing. They brought me the wrong dressing (ranch) and when they brought me my balsamic vinaigrette it had some white crud in it! One of my favorite places to dine in Corpus Christi. The burgers are unbelievable and have bacon chopped into the patty. I've also had their melt in your mouth ribeye steak yummy. We came across Bubba's after doing some research..... my girl's birthday weekend had been going pretty good so I wanted to make sure we tried something new and Bubbles didn't disappoint, with their meaty meaty pizza which I highly recommend just awesome. The beer was Ice cold and the food was excellent. Service was very poor. I had to get up and get us our beers at the bar because the waitress was nowhere to be found. I actually ordered our beers from the manager who happened to be at the bar. He did not apologize or for that matter even acknowledge that I had to get up and go to the bar for our beverages. As a matter of fact he was dancing and as he stepped out from behind the bar he crossed paths with our waitress ( who finally re-appeared ).They both mirrored each other with dance moves .
