Had a dinner date here, cost $100 before tip. There was nothing overtly wrong with the experience, but I don't see a reason to return. Had the outlaw ribeye rare and it was cooked rare. I really wish they'd allow you to specify the temperature - I like 120F rare, this was more like 100F. The steak was was lacking maillard browning and had more salt than I prefer. It was OK, but not at $50/plate. The wings were decent. Oven baked with Buffalo sauce on side. They needed the Buffalo sauce. Broccoli was salted and soft. The outlaw ribeye was good to a medium rare with a perfect char that gave it alot of flavor. I got a side of parmesan crust just to satisfy my cravings. My waitress stopped by several times and refilled my drink before it even got low. The strawberry salads are one of the main reasons I started coming to Longhorn. Longhorn Steakhouse is pretty consistent on food quality and customer service no matter which location you go to. I don't think I've ever had any issues at any of their restaurants. There isn't much at the Longhorn Steakhouse that I don't like. However, my go-to is the chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese and fries. They give you two portions and it's an understatement to say that a single portion of the chicken fried chicken is more than enough for me for one meal, so I usually have to take the second half home. This is definitely great bang for your buck. It's great value in my opinion. Overall, 5 stars. They deserve the rating. Period. read more

For chain steakhouses, it does not get any better than Longhorn. Especially considering what you get for what you pay. Compared to other higher tier chain steakhouses, Longhorn is quite affordable. And I will also say their consistently quality steaks with perfect grill marks, crusts and season make them standout. They also all have great decor, atmosphere and high levels of service. Dirty silverware, burnt burger bun, missing food, overall unclean environment! This Longhorn steakhouse is the worst one I've ever been to, and I have been to a lot of steakhouses across the country and around the world. The silverware was absolutely filthy (see photo). Clearly nobody cares about customer health and safety. Upon informing the bartender she quickly changed out the silverware, told us that it was gross and then made the following statement... "Sometimes they get really lazy when wrapping silverware". Wow! So this appears to be a common problem they have there. We ordered two LH burgers with all the fixings. They showed up with no fixings, no burger sauce and the top bun was burnt. (Sorry, I should've had a picture of that.) The bartender took the burgers back immediately and said she would have them remade. They came back with the proper fixings and a properly toasted bun. From this point forward she behaves like nothing ever happened. Additionally, the initial wait for the food to be delivered was quite long. After two strikes like this, one would expect to see a manager appear to apologize and attempt to make things right. Nope! Never saw anyone from management. It appears their philosophy for customer service and satisfaction is "oh well". As a final note, the place is generally not well-maintained. There was dust and dirt everywhere. If you decide to try this place, just take a pass through the bar and look at the filth on the mirrors behind the alcohol. Management seems to have zero attention to detail. Sad, because this place could be great. At the end of the day, we all know that it comes down to management. When the management doesn't care, neither does anyone else. read more

We were pretty surprised with how delicious the food was here! We got the Firecracker Chicken Wraps as a starter, they were good, just a little salty. Next time we'll just ask them not to salt the top. The complimentary bread was okay. We shared the Outlaw Ribeye which was 20 oz. For sides we got the mac and cheese and the shrimp and lobster chowder. The mac and cheese was okay, it was nothing special. The chowder on the other hand was yummy, it had a good flavor to it and was really comforting after a long day at the beach. The steak was the star of the meal because it cut like butter and just melts in your mouth. It was cooked to perfection, medium rare and still very juicy. We got a side salad and some wheat bread which were alright. I ordered an 18 oz bone in rib eye medium well and it came out medium rare. We had a great time last night for dinner. Atmosphere was enjoyable, not to loud so we were able to talk and hear each other. Food portions were perfect and taste was right on. I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant. My friend and I went in to the restaurant for lunch. We were greeted and sat very promptly. Waited about 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We get our beverage order and appetizer in. Came out fairly quickly. About 30 minutes go by so I ask if I can have my salad. The waitress then says she's going to get it. She comes back and says SHE FORGOT TO PUT OR ORDER IN. Mind you the table behind us was being checked constantly by a manager and the waitress. WOW What a wonderful time. Both our Waitress, Danielle, and the manager, Jacob, were very engaging and attentive. The porterhouse steak is large enough to share between two people, and comes with two sides. We got the Broccoli and Sweet Potato. Pay the up charge and get the SIGNATURE salad. It has strawberries, grapes, feta cheese and roasted pecans. Always a hit. The steaks are tender as can be. They cooked ours to medium rare and we were not disappointed. For Dessert we shared The Chocolate Stampede. Wow be ready to share. 2 slices of cake with two large vanilla ice cream scoops. We always order the Delmonico steak; they usually deliver quality. I enjoy it. It's rather predictable. I gave them a 4 because their baked potatoes w/ fixings is usually never hot. I feel as if I always give a 4-5 star review for restaurants in corpus. Maybe I'm easy to please or maybe I just always get good service. That being said, this restaurant did us well for our first time being here. Our waitress Anna explained the menu items with great detail and the food was absolutely delicious. I liked that the silverware was heavy duty and not flimsy cheap tarnished forks. I've never had grilled chicken taste that juicy and tender from anywhere. (Maybe I don't get out much lol) the sweet potato was cooked well and I appreciated being offered cinnamon and butter on the side.
