This place was a let down. The hostess was absolutely awful. She treated us like we were trying to come into an exclusive club. We had 10 people in our party. Per the website, we called ahead, but we're told that they can't hold a table until everyone was there. The website said to call for more than 6 people. She said yeah, more than 6, but no more than 8 can call ahead. When we got there, they said they couldn't seat us at the big table because they had a party of 20 coming in. Which they were holding the table for. We ended up sitting at two separate tables next to each other. Obviously, that was not ideal. The table that we sat at was dirty on the edges and we had to ask the waitress to wipe it off. The weight just for drinks was ridiculous and on top of that the food took longer than any other restaurant I've been to. The saving grace was that the waitress was super nice and our nephew's burger was delicious. I would not recommend going to this place unless you plan on being there for quite some time and putting up with rude people from the get-go. read more

We decided to do something different to do something different tonight and did a U-turn to hit up Bubba's. We had driven by this restaurant several times but just were not sure we were up for a pizza and burgers type of joint. We were promptly greeted when we walked in and to our surprise they had an outdoors smoking section that was nicely heated. This place was literally crammed with flat screen televisions around every wall. You are sure to never miss a game here! We sat ourselves and noticed that they have a plethora of beer. If you want it, they probably got it on draft. We started out with the fried pickles and they were crispy and hot. It came with ranch and Bubba's sauce. The Bubba's sauce looks like thousand island kinda but I think it is a bit sweeter. It was quite a good size basket and we could not finish them. Tonight, we decided to try out the burger selection. Apparently you can order a burger that is 33% bacon, hence the Bubba's 33 I reckon. I tried the Spicy Habanero Burger and my husband went for the classic Bubba's Burger. The burgers were huge and neither one of us could finish it, especially with the humongous side of fries that came with it. We both left happy and full. All in all I am happy with our experience and will return for another night out. The service was good and our waitress was attentive. We never sat with an empty drink. Short review - big @$$ burgers, big @$$ beers. Go. Longer review - so I pull up to this place and they're playing cornhole in the parking lot. That's different.... I go inside and there's this 'fun' atmosphere. The employees actually looked like the enjoyed being at work. Who cares though right? I mean.... I came here to eat, not have fun (although a little fun never hurt). I wanted a burger and was shown the 33% bacon burger. Wait... WHAT?!! A burger with bacon ground INTO the patty? AND I get bacon on top of it? It was love at first sight! I got a double bacon cheeseburger with the 33% bacon patties and this thing was as big as a burger can be without crossing over into the land of ridiculousness. The fries were awesome. As if that wasn't enough, they have 33 ounce draft beers! Bubba's was okay, although bordering on meh-ish. Our server was nice and attentive enough, but the food had something had something left to be desired. I tried the Bubba Burger, which was a burger with fries, a pickle, and fries. My burger was cooked well done when I asked for medium, and the meet kept crumbling onto my plate, so I had half hearted bites of way too buttery bread and lettuce. The fries were something that I would have expected from a fast food restaurant. Actually, I'm sure some places, like Wendy's, would have had better fries than the one I got there. I ate a third of my food before I gave up and settled on my drink. I got the American margarita, and I'm pretty sure was the saving grace of the whole meal, but hey, you really can't go wrong with a good, strong mixed drink. Been to Bubbas when it first opened and was never impressed with the food, but I haven't eaten or been there for the last three years and one my sons friends recommended it so we went last week and was very impressed with everything from the appetizers to our main meal where really good. I cannot even give one star for yesterday's experience at this place. I was being treated by my cousin for my birthday. My cousin ordered a salad that was supposed to have candied pecans, strawberries and cranberries. She requested to hold the cheese. I ordered chicken tenders with tator tots and steamed broccoli. Near the end of ordering the waitress busted out laughing and yelling out because the "fire department" had showed up. When the order came, the salad had ZERO candied pecans a few cranberries and strawberries and about 4 strips of chicken and a lot of lettuce. My side was french fries. No one ever came back to the table to check and see if everything was okay, if the order was correct or anything. I eventually had to waive my arm to guys just standing in front of the kitchen window. I explained about the pecans and the sides which to note was the main reason for ordering this particular salad. The young guy said let me find your waitress. She did not come but a man in a red baseball cap. He only spoke out and said, "yeah we are out of the candied pecans and they are really good." After a short reply to him he says he going to check in the back and he never comes back. So again I had to waive someone down and at this point I said, we are not paying for this. They walk off and a young lady comes over and squats down and asked what the problem was. Firstly, the waitress should be aware of what you're out of but if not and once the order is placed someone is aware that not all the "items" are there. No one not once came back to check on us or even see if we needed a refill or anything. Mind you the restaurant was not busy and our waitress was walking around the front with an open book she was reading. No warm felt apologies and when we walked out they said, " Have a good weekend" but it was MONDAY! So food sucked, service sucked and I am so tired of going places and paying hard earned money for people who just don't seem to care anymore about providing great products with great service. Pizza was average at best, but burgers were really good. Server seemed so rushed she forgot at least one thing each time she stopped by. Just moved to Ft Bragg, NC from Ft Carson, CO, and it is great to know that the quality of food at Bubba's 33 is consistent across the country! I will definitely be back numerous times over the next coming years. The burgers are delicious and the french fries are always crisp, esp. with the special Bubba's sauce. Service was a little slow yesterday , had to ask for utensils , plate , seasoning. Food was not Special, had stoma pain after eating. Probably the cooking oil was old. My husbands, and son food took almost an hour. The burger didn't really look great. My son said it was ok, like it's eatable but not great. Pizza was alright. I think Dominos taste better. Anyway, I ordered 12 Wings crispy half garlic Parmesan half mild. When I got there, I paid and the lady went to the back to get the food. To the establishment that sat the minorities all on the same side of the restaurant in the back left of your restaurant and the young lady with three letters was n her name that waited on us. Your service was horrible, irritating at best. Our waitress decided to go low with her level of professionalism and treated us as if we were irritated by the large party, a family that is know for over tipping and could have netted her over $200 in tips, yet drinks arrived later than necessary and watered down. I asked the waitress if menus were sanitized, opened it up and what do you know, it had sauce from someone else's yummy meal! She said well yeah everything is sanitized, except that one! LOL! Went there with a party of eight for lunch day after Christmas, Hailey our server was great. Most of us got burgers, very good and priced right. Loved their fries. Stopped here to grab dinner and it was packed. So many people waiting but we found some space at the bar. Service was great, the bartenders checked on us regularly and offered suggestions.
