Food is simply delicious, no matter what we order. We had the cheese fries as our appetizer, and wow is all I can say! The favor is very nice. We also ordered the Chicken & Bacon Mac n Cheese (my meal) and the Chili Salmon (my hubby's meal) Music is not as loud as my friends told me, but it's still loud, but that only lends to the good vibes of this place. What does the 33 stand for? Based on my visit, I think it stands for "you're going to wait 33 minutes longer than the online waiting list indicated" Or maybe it is "you're going to wait 33 minutes for your family of four to get pizza, burger and a sandwich (it was actually a bit longer....long wait, for those keeping track) Or maybe it was, you're going to wait 3x3 minutes (that's 9 minutes for those of us who were educated in public schools) for plates After your pizza is brought to the table. Story time: we waited nearly 10 minutes (9 actually, remember the mathematics above) and when I had lost all hope that our server would come back, I got up and found someone and asked for some plates for our pizza. I received a delightful response of a finger in my face, no words, not even a sound, and then a motion to go ask someone else. So I did. We eventually got some plates. When our real server was around, she was very nice. And the manager who came by twice during our lengthy stay was also very pleasant. So, was the food worth the wait? Let's start with the drinks - pro tip: skip the flavored drinks. They were pricey and not very good. I got a Mango Tea. It was really bad. They didn't flavor the tea with mango puree or mango syrup. It was literally just three 1/2" cubes of mango just floating in the very mediocre tea. This doesn't flavor a drink and only serves as a garnish. The other drinks were mediocre as well as reported by the fam. I'd stick with just good ol' normal drinks and save yourself a bunch o' money The BBQ chicken pizza had a good flavor, but was not very substantial. They hit a new standard for thin crust...micro-crust? The cheese burger was very tasty, prepared well, not greasy, though a bit sloppily thrown together, and a good portion size. The Monte Cristo was very good. The light dusting of powdered sugar hit only one half of the sandwich (better aim next time chef!). The jam which comes as a dip was also very good. Many restaurants get the Monte Cristo wrong, but Bubba got this one right - bravo. Lightly fried, not oily/greasy, exterior very crispy and interior nice and melty. I recommend this item. Atmosphere: just a bit too noisy for comfort. I'm a musician, so I like to listen music at any decibel, but this was about 3 or 4 decibles too loud - this is not a club, this is a restaurant. By the way, the 33 actually stands for the year prohibition ended. I won't be in a hurry to go see Bubba any time soon. Maybe in about 33 weeks I'll get a craving for a Monte Cristo and will make my way back to wait 33 extra minutes; but I'll know to save myself 33 bucks and skip the flavored drinks while I count to "33" thirty-three times waiting for my plates. read more

The wait was about 2 hours, but we put our name in on the waitlist before we went. Our server was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is lively - lots of TVs and things to look at. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were a little spicy, but tasty. I had the fish and chips. The homemade tartar sauce was really good. The cole slaw could use some help because it really did not have any flavor at all. My husband had the guacamole burger, my son had the Philly cheesesteak with loaded fries, my daughter had the chicken bacon mac & cheese. Server needs some work. Would pass by with question if we needed anything while still walking. Didn't look to see beverages needed refilling. Long wait for entrees. Pizza, fries & tots were cold, burgers luke warm. Manager took Pizza back, and thinking it would be replaced completely. It was back in 2 minutes & crust now hard & pie still cold. When Server attained if it was better, she was surprised it the response. She had to ask the manager to credit it. Also had asked to omit one item from Pizza h exchange for something else. Additional $2 charge but couldn't b fit item on Pizza. Very noisy. Told to wait outside on a cooler, breezy night. They need to cover that waiting area from weather. The mashed potatoes and gravy were fantastic so was our server, it's a regular bar food. The environment is also that of a bar. My problem , the price. I ordered the fish dinner added bread For 1$ I can go to drakes and get 2 more pieces of fish. Idk the 15.99 kinda threw me off when drakes is double the size for 1$ read more

Really disappointed. We arrived at 630 and were told a 45 minute wait. By 730, I asked how much longer and they said 45 more minutes.... When we were seated, close to 8, we asked for a high chair. They brought one, but it sat about 10 inches from the table, making it useless. They brought us a booster seat that worked fine, but what's the point of having a high chair? By this point, both kids were tired, hungry and at their bedtime, so we ordered their food immediately. We ordered ours shortly after. Placed order at 6:30 PM, fried pickles and 33 Deluxe pizza, Uber Eats delivery driver arrived at 8:30 PM with the pickle chips only. When asked about the pizza he stated, in broken English, that that is all that "they" gave him and said that he'd go back to Bubbas 33 and get the pizza. Knowing that he was lying I called the restaurant and was told that he did not pick ip the pizza and it was still there. They made a fresh pizza & I picked it up. The pickle chips were so salty that they were inedible and the pizza was the worst that I remember having in decades. I was still charged a delivery fee and no discount for my inconvenience. Thought I would give Bubba's 33 a shot tonight. Ordered curbside, place the order. It was an hour to pick it up. No worries. I get here to pick it up. Probably 20 minutes early. No one I was gonna be early. An hour and five minutes later I get towed it's gonna take another 5 to 10 minutes. I get the food finally take it to my father-in-law's house, which is literally five minutes away. All the food was cold, like it was prepared when I placed it and sit there under a warmer on the counter for a period of time and the desserts. The ice cream was melted like it would've been sitting around. My first time and last time at this establishment. The crew that came out was very pleasant with the food was nothing to rave about plus, it was cold, and my dessert was melted. read more

Went to bubba's 33 in Louisville, Ky was told they had the best breaded tenderloins. Is was pretty greasy but even at that the meat had good flavor. Also had their shrimp appetizer. I like bang bang shrimp and the shrimp from Long horn better. Both of those have a bed of lettuce probably will go back but not for the breaded tenderloins. The wait staff was nice read more

Everything we've eaten here is very good except the Coke slaw and pizza. Steak and burgers are our favorites. Wings, fish, salad, fried shrimp, shrimp tacos and chili are very good! We always get on the waitlist because this place is always crowded! The selection is endless. You could eat here all week and get something different every time! We were looking forward for the opening of Bubba's 33 in Fern Creek for quite awhile. We had only heard good things. What a let down!! We downloaded the app and followed instructions to get on the waitlist which, because of the requirements for our party, required us to call and request a table not a booth. We got on the list at 4:25 and arrived at the restaurant at 4:55. The first problem occurred when they tried to seat us at a booth despite our request for a table. We had to get a manager involved and did not get seated until 5:50! Second problem...it took our server a while before they came to the table, and through the course of our meal they were least in sight. Drinks were not refilled until we involved yet another manager. Third problem...two people in our party did not get what they ordered and had to wait even longer to get the correct food. Then, the pork loins were over cooked and the tater tots were undercooked. Our grandson's grilled cheese had over toasted (almost burnt) bread yet the cheese on the sandwich was not even melted. The burger ordered was mediocre. After all this the manager apologized and gave us a certificate for a "free" dinner for two, for our next visit, which stated it was only good for $25. That wouldn't even pay the total for our two pork loins we had ordered that night. On top of that we were a party of six. A dinner for two doesn't make up for all our problems. They should have offered to comp our checks or given more than one certificate. We didn't get out of the restaurant until 7:15. That's almost three hours from the time we checked in!!! Ridiculous!!! While the restaurant was nice the music was way too loud. We either had to shout at the people at our table or we had to repeat ourselves repeatably. I sure hope they get it together. read more

My mother and I would come here once a week and usually it's great, very rarely has it been bad or poor service but that all changed this evening. Date 05/19/2026, this is the date of our visit. Service was so slow that we waited for over 30 minutes just for our food, then once it got there the cheese on our loaded fries was not melted at all it was literally just thrown on top of it as if fresh from the bag or wherever they get it from. We originally didn't care and overlooked it we just told the waitress to take it off of our bill. She insisted on getting a manager, so 20 minutes later after this the unknown manager comes up, it was a female, long burnet hair in a ponytail, about 5'8', in a brown colored sweater at the time came over and asked us how the service was. So we told her that it was the worst service we have ever experienced here, our drinks were not filled at all, they didn't bring anything we asked for and we told them that we come here at least once a week and the loaded fries have never come out with the cheese like this. She then proceeded to cop an attitude and say that the loaded fries always come out like that and that the kitchen doesn't melt the cheese, and you can believe what you want to believe. If I would have known they wouldn't have given me her name I would have asked for it then, but I won't make that mistake again. I then proceeded to ask for her name and a number to call corporate because that's inappropriate behavior for a manager. They wouldn't give it to me, another manager came up to ask me what's wrong and I told him the same thing, he acted like he was going to write down the number and her name but then was stopped by the owner of Bubba's 33. I then explained everything to her and told her I needed a number for corporate and the manager's name, she still wouldn't give it to me. She stated that everything comes back to her anyways and acted nonchalant about it. So, I then saw that this was going nowhere and left the restaurant. Once I finally got home and access to a laptop, I had to look up the corporate number myself to contact them. We won't be back. Hopefully you don't have an experience like this. read more

My only but BIGGEST complaint is the loudness - along with a large number of customers and, drinking which encourages loud conversation the in-house music is "Over The Top Loud" in all sections of the area.! read more

My food was great, but I ordered one entrée and got a different one which was OK with me. My friend salad didn't have part of the ingredients that should. My other friends chicken was spicy and she couldn't eat it and she also got spicy fries and she ordered regular fries and then they still charged her for the meal and we had to get the manager to resolve that.. my other friend got steak and tater tots and a salad and salad was great and tater tots were OK. Service was pretty good. The restaurant was way too loud. You couldn't hear yourself across the table the drinks I got a frozen margarita, wine and it was OK, but not great and my friend of mine got a sangria margarita but it wasn't any good she said and my other friend got a white Russian who said it was real good service wasn't bad but the place was packed and it was a Thursday night about six I have to say what I've had in the majority of food was good, but I'm not looking forward to going back simply because it's overwhelming and you can't talk to even the person you're sitting next to unless you're real loud read more

I ordered the Creamy Cajun pasta, which was supposed to have chicken and shrimp in it. But when it came out I only counted 3 (small) shrimp and couldn't even tell if there was chicken in it. I asked the manager and she said it was in there, I ate it because I found the shrimp good and was able to see a few pieces of chicken that was diced smaller than the onions. For the price I really think this should be addressed I've looked at other reviews afterwards and they've had the same experience with this dish. Worst pizza ever. The crust was so heavily coated with a salt substance that I had to throw away the pizza after 1.5 slices. Took a while to get our food, I ordered the shrimp tacos and my girlfriend ordered the chicken tacos. My shrimp was hot right off the grill but the chicken was lukewarm as if her order sat there waiting for the shrimp to be cooked. Servers were friendly and helpful.
