Service was horrible. My food came out like it was sitting around for awhile. My Girlfriend ordered a mild chicken salad with ranch and blue cheese on side. When she received her salad it wasn't from our server and it was spicy chicken and only had the side of ranch. By this time I was out of lemonade and our waitress was no where to be found. Tried Bubba's 33 for the first time and would definitely come back. Our server was great and she definitely helped us in ordering our food and keeping our drinks topped off. We had onion rings (whole order) and they were really good. Needless to say, we didn't finish them and had to take them home. The Philly Steak was really good and the burgers were good as well. Only complaint on the burgers was that the bun did not stay in place and slipped off all of the time. I would definitely come back when it's a little warmer and sit around the garage doors while they're open as this is a great feature - being outside without really being outside! Came here with YPLK in 2017 and they did a great job handling 125+ people on a Wednesday night. They've got tons of TVs - this would be a great place to watch the game or, if they get them, the UFC PPVs. It was packed inside, but they had plenty of service for us. If I could give zero stars I would, because I just sat there for 10 min at 4:00pm on a Saturday with only 3 other tables full in the bar area and my wife and I were never even acknowledged. When we walked in and asked for bar seating the hostess was extremely snotty and said, "it's full service everywhere" what does that even mean? Then we sat for 10 min and watched the non busy bartender pace back and forth because she had nothing to do, but she sure made eye contact with us on several occasions yet made no attempt to even offer us water or anything. Several servers walked by and no one noticed that we hadn't been helped. Again, we waited 10 min and finally left. As we were leaving another hostess thanked us for coming in, I was sure to let her know there was no reason to thank us, as no one had helped us. So disappointing. read more

Every time I visit Wichita, I come to Bubbas. The food & drinks are fantastic. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich and strawberry jalapeno margarita. I also enjoy watching the music videos and my husband enjoys watching the sports. The staff are always friendly. I definitely recommend. read more

Ate here for the first time tonight, solid meal. I ordered the "Spicy Habanero Burger", hoping it wouldn't be disgustingly watered down on the spice department, and it was not. The fried disk of Jalapeño Jack cheese, works well with the Pico and and Habanero sauce. Provides a good amount of heat, but isn't overwhelming (I may be a biased judge, as I've consumed chili paste almost daily for the last seven years on my eggs. I can bite into a raw Jalapeño without breaking a sweat so, bear that in mind) to the point the food is inedible and tastes like dirt. Cue Blazin' sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings. My parents were satisfied with their meals as well. Sunshine burger didn't have an obnoxiously runny egg topping it, and the Special, with a blend of 33% bacon in the beef patty, provided the excellent coupling one would expect. None of our burgers were overcooked, nor were they too rare. One hiccup did occur. My mother ordered sweet potato fries as her side, and unfortunately she was served seasoned fries. Our waitress, Brittany, spotted the mistake upon delivering the basket, and went back to rectify the issue. A few minutes later she came back with onion rings, explaining how the cook in the kitchen must be hard of hearing as he made the onion rings, but that she made sure the correct fries made it in the frier, and should be done in about two minutes. About two minutes later, she returned with the sweet potato fries, apologized, and presented us with boxes. Personally, bringing out the side item that was mistakenly made as opposed to coming to the table with only excuses, is a better business practice, and in this case gave my mom an I a chance to try their onion rings, instead of envying the way they looked on my dad's plate. On that note, if you like onions, and you like funnel cakes that are slightly crispier, chances are you'll greatly enjoy Bubba's onion rings. To wrap everything up, it's a solid alternative to some other larger scale bar/burger joint franchises, seeing as we were given so many fries, we never had to worry about seeing the bottom (here's to you Red Robin and your horrible "Dad Joke" level betrayal with fry containers not having a bottom. "Bottomless fries, get it?", not only is this an ineffective way to hold fries, but it's also a lie. Fortunately, Bubba's 33 doesn't stoop to gimmicky tactics and instead provides delicious food. 9/10 would go back, and the one that didn't is vegan. This was my first time at Bubba's and the service was HORRIBLE. Our waitress disappeared after bringing our waters and another waitress took our order. We waited 20 minutes for our appetizer to come which came at the same time as our pizza. We barely saw our waitress the entire time, a different waitress took our order, a third waitress brought our food and a fourth waitress took our check. I have been here twice since they opened. The first time was the very first day they opened, I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was very good and had a lot of flavor . We did not have a long wait time which I was shocked about both times. The second time was Sunday afternoon on Easter 2016. I had the mozzarella sticks (they call it something different) and the wings. I also got a pepperoni pizza (the pizza is made New York style) EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! They make they Mozzarella sticks in house and they are to die for. Everything was fresh and perfect like they brought it out as soon as it was finished. The table next to us ordered the chicken nachos which looked delicious (I will get those next time) the atmosphere is great especially if you like sports. I will definitely be going back! read more

3.5 stars. The much talked about fries were indeed thin and short, but they were fried and salted well. Didn't feel like a burger, so we got a shrimp po'boy and a turkey sandwich. The po'boy is not a true po'boy. There was too much sauce and no lettuce. The bread was airier than it was chewy. The dish's main purpose was to highlight their shrimp appetizer. My husband loved it. On the other hand, my turkey sandwich suffered from too little sauce, though the slices of turkey were thick and the pretzel bread was good. We also got onion rings. Their batter is like tempura and would even be tastier if they drained it better before serving. But I don't think greasy food is a concern at a sports bar. The waitress was nice to point out that the appetizer smaller portion was 6 rings whereas the upgraded side portion was about the same at 5 rings. It didn't make sense to pay more for the same amount of food. Service was a little slow, but the server was really busy and doing her best. Bubba's is not the kind of place I get excited over, but it was a good experience for us. read more

The burger came out, jabbed with a Well Done stake. The bacon was painfully undercooked. Slightly warmed, if that. I picked it off and threw it on the table. Our waitress acknowledged the bacon was substandard and went to get the manger, but she didn't came at that point. While waiting for some resolution, I decided that maybe I ought to give up and just eat what I had. The burger was more pink than the tomato they but on the plate and I was instantly beyond pissed! Possibly my new favorite Sports Bar with 90" flat screen TVs and a screened in "garage" with roll up garage doors that they open when the weather is nice. I had the Bubba's Bacon Burger which made with 33% ground bacon and was quite good. I wasn't fond of the French fries as they are small (similar to Freddy's) and I am a Ketchup dipper. Food is great, however 4/5 times I've had horrendous service. Three times were extremely long table greets, one experience being almost a ten minute greet. Another time I ordered a to go order for a Philly cheesesteak with chili cheese fries with red onions added and order initially came out with chili on my philly, drove off and had to turn around. The second attempt, they gave me chili on the side with no cheese on the fries and no red onions even though I specifically mentioned it again since I figured they would forget. I thought this place was fantastic, great food, decent prices, until I ordered a glass of house Chardonnay.... You know sometimes a girl just wants a glass of decent Chardonnay not some sugary drink that will put her in a diabetic coma. Anyways after receiving the bill and noticed my two glasses of house Chardonnay cost $9.75 each, I vowed to never to return. I mean Bubbas 33 is a pizza and beer joint not a Michelin 3 star restaurant. Not to mention the Chardonnay wasn't even that good. So Bubbas instead of price gouging your customers, buy the square grape kind of wine aka box wine and help your customers save a buck. Update... The manager called me and asked me if I got a small wine carafe with my glass of wine and I said no, she said that they gave me the VIP price but didn't give me the VIP pour. The waitress was new and is still learning the prices. Anyways they made up for the booboo and it has made me completely love this restaurant, I recommend it highly!!!! read more
