Although the sign says they do detailing basically all day, often times you go, and they have no one available. The last time I went the manager, Miguel, wasn't helpful at all and rather than be helpful and giving me a good time to come back. He was trying to direct me elsewhere and making excuses. After all that he revealed the detailer was on lunch which he could've started with. When I came back, to the car wash itself, left water spots and dead bugs still in the grill. End of March/ early April I signed up for a 2-month wash package with the Greenback Lane location in Citrus Heights. Then Covid arrived and we packed up our motorhome and headed to Texas on April 8 to quarantine with family. I made several attempts to contact them to cancel or postpone my "subscription" as a result of our decision to travel. I have left several messages asking that the manager return my call, which has never happened!!! I was charged 34.99 for 3 months ($105 total) when the contract was for 2 months and I NEVER used the service. They owe me this $$$. Terrible customer service and I will never go back. read more

I just feel that my car gets cleaner and it seems like they use more water to rinse. Plus, the attendant pre-cleans your car more thoroughly than QQ. That's my favorite exterior carwash. It does clean your car better than quick quack. I was very surprised when they started hand drying my car. Plus they hand clean your wheels. Also they put tire shine by hand as well. I have never had problems with this place this place washes your car very clean and when you drive out from there you won't see no foam there nor water. Your car will shine. This place is amazing people are smiling. Great costumer service. I would highly recommend to visit this place. If I would be you having a new car and wanted to wash it , I would not go to quick quack because I've heard stories that people had scratches after washing their cars there. Found Bubba's on Yelp today and went to the one on Greenback. Did the Ultimate on one car and then decided to take another one and did the Basic. For the price, you really can't beat Bubba's. It is way better than a gas station drive thru and the only difference with full serve car washes is that you have to do the interior yourself which isn't that big of a deal. There are plenty of vacuums there to clean up the interior and just take some interior wipe down products and you are on your way. Besides, unless you are spending the bucks to do a detail, the interior isn't wiped down the way it should be and I can do it quicker and better anyway. The best part for me is that I can just do the drive thru wash without cleaning the interior and on my way in about 5 minutes instead of waiting 15 or more minutes. Also, just like other more expensive places, there is prewash bug treatment and it seems to work great. Haven't tried the detail yet but just might see what that is all about next month. read more

I went to Bubba's for a car wash and happened on a new service: a premium wash and wax for under $35.00! My time could not have been better spent. Manager Gabriel and his team made my Jeep sparkle. I was so impressed I immediately brought my son's car for the same treatment and tomorrow I shall bring a third car. While there I discussed their new complete detailing service. I won't spoil the surprise except to say the cost quoted was well over $100 less than I have paid for similar service in the past. I've given this place 3 tries. Most of our good car washes have closed down around our area and this new chain has shown up in its place unfortunately. Lazy employees that are always on their cell phone. Your car dries before they even start hitting it with a towel leaving you with water spots. The windows are swatted with their towels as opposed to wiping them down, again, leaving more water spots. What a joke for 18 bucks. My suggestion, watch it yourself before taking it here. read more

First time coming here and I was debating whether to choose zoom and as I did so I noticed that their packaging and prices were somewhat the same or off by 2 or5 dollars. Since I was already using Bubba's free vacuums I went ahead and chose their car wash. The attendant was really nice and the other young man who was going through the vacuum stations also did a great job trying to keep the trashcan empty and areas clean. Now when it came to the car wash I found it to be disappointing because there were streaks on the windows and other things were not brushed off right either. I think for the same amount or a couple extra I'd rather go to zoom to get it detailed since I never notice any streaks. I would suggest going to bubbas for vacuuming services or if your car is not extremely dirty. read more

Don't be scared off by their low rating. I was at first. I used to go to Quick Quack. I initially was happy with the wash I got at quick quack but started to notice that my car would still have bugs and things stuck to the car. I finally had enough and gave Bubba's a shot. I'm very very happy I did! Their workers are very polite and call me sir. I love doing there full service wash because I hate having to hand dry my car. They have more than enough vacuums that actually have plenty of suction! To top it off if you come back with your receipt 3 days later you get a free wash and you can upgrade the wash and just pay the difference! One of the best drive thru car washes around and they offer free vacuuming (self service) that works pretty well. This is the newer location and the staff is friendly and helpful. I usually buy the 5 car washes for $40 deal and each wash can be used on any car, and not limited to just 1 vehicle. The other Bubbas on Madison charges $1.00 for 3 mins for vacuuming or you get a token when you get a car wash at that location. read more

They just opened for business, so hopefully as time goes by, service will be better. You drive up and someone greets you, waving hello. They don't really go over any packages unless you ask. I opted for the $24.99 deal which includes the wash + hand drying, vacuuming/ wiping the interior, and tire dressing which should all takes 25 minutes, we're told by the greeter. After going through the wash, it was confusing where to go. There are 2 canopies but for some reason there was a row of cones that looked like you were being blocked from going in there. Eventually I just went around the cones and went under the canopy. A Hispanic man started to help me. He looked at my receipt that was taped to my windshield to see what I got. He proceeded to ask other employees "what does the $24.99 one include?". The first guy he asked didn't know either, so he asked another guy; he says it's the one with the vacuuming and wiping the inside and stuff. He tell us to go ahead and wait over there and points over toward UPS for some reason (even though the greeter guy told us there was an air conditioned waiting room or some seats with umbrellas to wait at). We waited outside so we can see what was going on. During our wait another employee asked if we had been helped already. He was very helpful, maybe a manager there or something (the one with tattoos, wearing argyle socks). He was very attentive watching for cars approaching and waving to them, even hustled every where he went. Good worker. So still waiting for my, what was supposed to be a 25 minute car wash, it was finally finished 45 minutes later. Got in the car and drove off. Noticed a big bug splatter still on my windshield, marks along the driver side window, steering wheel spotty, and my interior door handle still dirty. Don't know if I'll over go back. Maybe of other reviewers have better experiences then me, I will. Until then, I'll just go elsewhere. read more

Paid almost 20 bucks for a fairly basic tunnel wash that I could've gotten for probably less than half of the price. Car still had stains, and almost the entire car was still wet at the end..had to use my own towel to dry it off. Pretty much the same experience as any other tunnel car wash, except more expensive and my car was more wet. read more

My wife and I moved to Sacramento earlier this year. We bought a home in Natomas and piled a lot of our belongings into the garage until we determined where to put everything and what we could get rid of. As a result, I had to park my 2017 Ford Edge in the driveway. The lawn sprinkler system spotted my car with hard water spcontactedots. I bought a chemical from NAPA that was supposed to take the spots off, but after a few hours of futile effort I gave up. I contacted Bubbas on Greenback Lane and made an appointment to have my car detailed with the expectation they might be able to reduce the water spots. I'm pleased to report the technician (Jarod) spent 4 hours on my car and was able to tTOTALLY rid my car of the hard water spots. My car looks like new again!
