Bubble Bar is outstanding. The tapioca is always perfectly cooked, the flavors are universally wonderful, the quality of the teas they use is outstanding, and the egg custard add-in just makes things perfect. They have a HUGE variety of flavors and add-ins, so there's something for every taste. I've never experienced any of the scheduling or service issues as reported by other reviewers, but I've never been there as late as they have. Be sure to ask for a punch card, so you can get your free drink after you purchase enough. Bubble Bar is our go-to boba drink establishment. NOTE: This is the same stand in the same location as the old, "Fruit Tea Bubble". We came here on a Sunday afternoon, there was NO line and its been 20 minutes.. we are STILL WAITING! Are they sleeping in there?! UPDATE: just got out drinks. I got the lavender milk tea with tapioca pearls and my husband got the honeydew with lychee jellies. Let me break down why it's a two star review. 1. Wait time was WAY too long. Over 20 min for two drinks? No thanks! Not worth the wait. There goes one star taken off. 2. We didn't know it was cash only obviously because most places take card! When my husband jokingly asked why they don't take card, the woman at the counter rudely said "because the sign says so." Okay? No need for attitude lady! There goes another star. Customer service to me is everything! 3. The jellies were an extra .60 cents! I have never went to a bubble tea place that charges EXTRA .60 cents for jellies?! I mean okay, that's cool but please mention that it is extra before finalizing the order because I was confused at the high price of the total. I asked her "so the jellies are extra?" Just moved to the Portland area and was looking for a good bubble tea place. I came across Bubble Bar on Facebook and decided to give it a try. It is hands down the BEST bubble tea I've ever had in my life. Not too sweet, and tastes very authentic. The boba is at the perfect texture and taste. I also noticed their prices are the same for either milk tea or blended teas/smoothies which is uncommon, at least in my opinion. They also have punch cards which is pretty cool! Maybe just got the wrong combination but banana milk tea and popping peach bobas was just icky. The popping bobas were filled with a very odd tasting syrup that vaguely resembled peach flavor and the outside of the boba left a gummy weird material. read more

I usually get the same thing every time, Matcha Milk Bubble Tea with 3x boba and light ice. I like my boba don't judge haha, but I love it every single time. I never try anything else because I just love what I usually get so much. The lady there is super nice and lovely to talk to, it's overall just a good place to go!. read more
