The beef in the ramen is very chewy and they places the noodles in the broth which I feel they should have packaged separately for a to go order . The spicy tuna was hot for some reason and they are pretty stingy on the spicy tuna ... roll pretty much taste like rice . Also they placed the crunch inside the roll ... weird . Cool little bubble tea and Japanese food and snack place! They have ice cream and pocky, as well as sushi and ramen. When I came in there, the boss or manager seemed to be reprimanding his employee and I thought it was quite unnecessary. The girl who was being yelled at seemed anxious and did a fine job serving us! Tried out their bubble tea and also shaved ice when I was craving for some frozen treats. I think overall they are a decent choice for us that's further out in LI but honestly compare to what you find in Queens and Flushing they paled quite a bit. The fruit tea was pretty decent a bit too much ice perhaps but the tapioca is quite chewy and sweet and the prices are within range of what you find at other places. Definitely one of their better offerings. The shaved ice I thought could be better, I guess their main focus is on bubble teas and hot Japanese foods. I would have liked to see few more traditional toppings as oppose to jam syrups. Definitely would love some condense milk or just simple syrup. The ice cream on top I felt didn't really fit in but overall the quality of the ingredients were pretty good. A bit more expensive than what I expected. Certainly would be willing to give their ramen a chance although the place is bit small I think for sit down meals. They do take credit cards though and had no minimum spending that I was aware of. Bad business. Completely scammed us into paying $15 for a smoothie?! Added $4 in extra charges for "fresh fruit" when we did not ask for fresh fruit. After asking about it they argued and would not do anything to rectify the situation. Really not the way to treat new customers. It's a shame because we would have been regulars there. Felt like I was living in Manhattan again! Quality bubble tea with tapioca cooked just right, nothing hard in the middle. We tried the mango smoothie with fruit jelly and the matcha bubble tea, and they both come highly recommended. Did not try any food at the time of review. Interior is small but inviting, and the loads of Japanese sweets available to search though and purchase while you wait are an added bonus. Accidentally found this place after visiting the jewelry store across the street. I turned to my husband and we both couldn't believe we were seeing bubble tea on Long Island! Immediately he believes it's the fake crap made with powder but much to my delight, it was the real deal. My mango sweet tea with tapioca was quite yummy, just a tad on the sugary side but was rectified once I put some water in it. It was so much fun walking around sipping it like I was back in Queens. I happened to bookmark this place on Yelp! after searching for a movie theater in Bellemore. I wasn't planning to stop by today exactly but as my boyfriend and I were trying to kill time before our movie, he spotted it! It definitely has cute decor outside of the building. We ordered chicken ramen & avocado roll. It was cool how we could choose what kind of broth for the ramen (miso, teriyaki, spicy miso..others). Avocado roll tasted fresh! The ramen tasted like instant ramen straight from a package despite it kind of being pricey. The chicken on top was nice and they included hard boiled egg and bean sprouts. I don't think there was table service but the guy brought our food to us and set it up anyways. Very kind. We then shared a medium matcha milk bubble tea with mango star jelly! Fabulous bubble tea and sushi! Super cute and convenient for a quick bite or take away. Wayne couldn't be nicer and there is a wide variety of snacks and things to bring home. Being Celiac (gluten allergy), I'm a bit hesitant to order food in new places but Wayne was very helpful with my sushi order and even had packets of gluten free soy sauce. We enjoyed the ramen very much! You can have miso, pork or soy as your broth. It was delicious and you can ask for spicy as well. I had a spicy tuna roll as an appetizer, which was nice as well. This is my go-to place for bubble tea. They have many different flavors and it's always delicious. Today I ordered food for the first time and unfortunately I would not recommend. The quality and portions do not equal the price point. The chicken ramen had a few pieces of dark meat chicken that didn't look good. The Monster ramen has a mix of seafood in it and only included about 1 piece of each type of seafood. Even the vegetarian ramen was mostly just broth and noodles, very skimpy on the vegetables. I went here for ramen since it was close to home. I don't eat pork so I had a Grilled Chicken Ramen. The chicken was well seasoned. I personally would've liked a bit more salt in the broth but it was good otherwise. I haven't tried the sushi yet but it looks good and that would be what I would go for next. We just moved to the area and I was craving ramen. Because of the reviews we figured we'd give it a shot. We tried the steamed dumplings, the beef ramen, and the tempura chicken ramen. Now, maybe it was our fault as the place has bubble in the name and we didn't get bubble tea - perhaps that's the star of the show? The dumplings had the right texture. That's my only complement for them. Otherwise flavorless. The best part of the beef ramen was the beef - tender and melt in your mouth but lacked flavor. However, the pork broth could have basically been water. The noodles had good texture. But the star of ramen should be the broth - it should have loads of flavor. My boyfriend got the tempura chicken ramen and "I spent an extra 50 cents for spicy miso and it's so flavorless I don't even know if I paid for spice or a red food dye. The noodles were fine." New Japanese restaurant/ bubble tea spot in Bellmore didn't quite hit the mark. First off, the narrow, cramped space makes it ideal for take out. Ordered taro bubble tea and it was terrific as was the mango. The sushi, however, was lacking. Though the fish is fresh, the rice has no trace of vinegar and they use the lighter colored seaweed which makes it blah. The eel sushi though was delicious. Tried the miso soy ramen with chicken next which was the biggest let down. Broth was bland as was the chicken. The scallions in the broth helped a little but not enough. Bf and I was waiting for our table in another restaurant and as we were walking around the area, I saw Asian goodies and so I suggested we go in...so we did. The Asian goodies was a little pricey but considering the fact you don't find many of these places in Long Island, I guess it made sense. They also offered bubble tea and so we ordered some. Very refreshing and different. They'll let you try the different toppings which I'd recommend because the pieces have different consistencies which sink to bottom of drink and you can easily inhale with each sip. When I moved to Manhattan, I spent a very long time exploring Chinatown and Flushing trying different bubble tea spots and eventually found one that was closest to what I was used to. And then I moved to Long Island where the bubble tea experience is pathetically dry. And then I came across Bubble Hut. The menu isn't as varied as some of the other places I used to frequent, but what they do have is pretty good. My go-to drink is the classic milk tea, which is a little on the sweet side here, but I hear you can customize the sweetness. Overall, the best I've had outside of NYC so far! read more
