So i got a Chintan/Chicken ramen for $17.38. And im kinda mad because i ate all the noodles and chicken etc on the top layer. But they didn't even label that there was a soup?? Seriously? They need to really rethink their packaging or atleast put a damn sticker on the package telling me there's 2 layers. I put it on a table and just saw the top layer with no soup so i didn't feel there was a bottom soup layer. A bit deceptive and I don't feel full and wish i got some surrounding falafel or shawarma. Will not becoming back. Smith haven mall ramen is way better!!!!!

We are certainly surrounded by an ample amount of ramen places. This particular restaurant stands out in its location, being joined with the boil in a bag spot. It stands out as well with its option of a ramen and appetizer combo. All for just $24 it's an awesome deal! Got the spicy ramen and takoyaki. A fantastic combination. The spicy ramen lived up to its name. Certainly packed a very pleasant kick. Lots of yummy noodles, beautiful half an egg and the other toppings. The octopus balls were very soft and had that delicious chew of octopus in the middle. Topped with the fish flakes, really brought it home. Their time from order to ready to pickup was pretty darn quick. I would say this is in the top 3 of local ramen places for me

    Terrible poke
    Misty D.

I'm sorry but this wasn't the best poke. Unlike most poke places that I'm used to going to, where are you can select your choice of toppings, protein, base and sauce ,this one was a premade bowl. I got the ahi tuna bowl. It tasted very bland and there wasn't a whole lot of toppings on there. I believe a key component of good poke is the flavor of sauce used. My bowl didn't appear to have any sauces and overall it just tasted very dry. I highly suggest to those that want poke, to go to chains like Pokeworks, or Pokebowl, where you can build your own Poké bowl under a myriad of toppings, sauce, and protein selections. The price was a bit on the higher end.

Decent ramen spot but I didn't realize this was connected to another restaurant and the mall from the pictures. The service was good and the vegetarian ramen option was decent. The soy meat I thought was a kind of strange texture in the broth. Dumplings had good flavor but were a little burnt. Everyone I went with enjoyed their food and it was interesting to see other tables get seafood boils. I think if I went back it would be if I was in the mall and hungry.

Went in early for a quick Sunday lunch. Wasn't crowded. Food was good! Ramen tasted legit I should've asked for extra green onion. Wife ordered taco sushi set. It was a bit difficult to eat because the seaweed is in a plastic wrapping but other than that everything was good! I got a weird ambient vibe because they also do seafood boil and the server took us to the seafood boil section instead.. lol

So so. Came here for lunch on a Saturday and while the place was busy there were many seats open. However, the hostess was about to seat us and then suddenly decided to take our name and phone and go on to say, there's a 10 mins wait. Okay, no problem. We came back and she sat us right by the hostess, essentially cleaned up their storage table for us to sit. I go on to ask for a better seat, she said this was the only one available. Literally 5 minutes after we got seated, she sat two other parties in other seats inside the restaurant. That alone showed me a lot about her customer service abilities. Next, our waiter was very nice. Our orders came out fairly quick but the appetizer did not come out at all. Following getting our food, no one checked on us to see how we were doing. The pork buns finally came when we finished lunch. Overall, I feel this restaurant can use some management changes but they indicated that they were short on staff, so we will give it on more try! Will do an updated review then!

Food is super delicious, especially the miso ramen . You have to try the taro milk tea, plus with the good service from Sarah.

This place is really cute. The inside dim but the atmosphere is great. It shares an entrance to hook and reel and you can also order of their menu We had Sarah as our waitress. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had excellent recommendations. We started with the ahi tuna nachos and they were packed with tuna, avocado and yummy chips. Every bite was so delicious! We also got 3 lobster tacos which is their spin on sushi tacos. They were packed with meat and sooo tasty! I got the tan tan ramen which packed a nice heat and was incredible. If you check in on Yelp you get a free slice of cake which was very chocolatey and really hit the spot! We also got the lychee shaved ice which was so different than any shaved ice I've tried but perfectly sweet! Would definitely recommend it here and I hope you also get the pleasure of Sarah as your waitress!

It was a little confusing locating this place last Sunday. GPS got us to the mall and then we realized the restaurant was located inside the mall. It's best to park in the parking lot by Panera Bread. There is a mall entrance from Panera and then Kinya (aka Hook and Reel seafood bar) is on the opposite side. We had a family gathering here with 20 other people. We each ordered whatever food and drinks we wanted. I chose the spicy chicken Ramen and sweet potato fries. My Ramen bowl was alright. I don't think it was the right dish for me. However, I loved the sweet potato fries. They were crunchy and delicious. They have a variety of dishes on the menu besides Ramen, such as: poke bowls, seafood boil, po'boys, sushi tacos, takoyaki, spicy chicken wings and more. I can't name them all. I felt like I was on the set of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie because they had a lot of pirate themed decor. The restaurant is spacious with lots tables. If I'm in the area again, I'll try the seafood boil. Other people in our party ordered that and it looked good. Overall the food selection is good. The service was good. They catered to our group and brought us out orders and drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu.

    Seafood boil special

This is a combo restaurant with Hook & Reel (seafood boil style). We tried the ramen portion during this visit and will come back to try the seafood on another occasion. The restaurant is conventionally located as part of the Broadway Mall and across the way from IKEA. They have lunch specials for both restaurants. My friend and I both ordered the Taichi Ramen which is two ramen in one bowl served yin-yan style. You select 2 of any ramen choices they offer. I ordered the Kinya ramen and the Tonkotsu ramen and my friend ordered the spicy ramen as her second choice. We both liked our choices and the spicy was not too spicy which was perfect for my friend's taste. This option is perfect for someone who likes to try different flavors but not have to share. Service was good. Decor was nice and clean. Definitely worth a try and you might find yourself going back again and again especially to try their luncheon specials.

    Shrimp Tempura Ramen

Came for lunch as wifey wanted some noodles. Been here once before the merge and was surprised that we never came back. Wifey ordered the shrimp tempura ramen. Son wanted the pork gyoza and I got the shrimp basket. Food did not disappoint. Wifey was very happy with her ramen and lil man loved it as well. The shrimp in the shrimp basket were cooked just right - not too much and dried out. Can definitely see us coming back as we don't have a go to ramen spot yet and it's right next to my gym. Tip - Order the ramen and appetizer combo to save some money.

Then, we didn't see our waitress for a long time until we finally asked the water guy to ask her to stop by. Which took a while again. We ordered more drinks. My son's soda was flat and my old fashioned tasted like it had a bite like rye vs bourbon, but I ignored it and drank it. About halfway through it changed to sweet - but so sweet it was like drinking syrup. It was never stirred so the bottom half was undrinkable. We asked for our waitress to get the check, and asked her to remove the flat soda and my old fashioned. She brought the check, nothing was removed. I explained again and asked the drinks to be removed. Next the bar manager came to our table. She explained to me how old fashioneds are made, that they're never stirred. And some people sip them, some drink them with a straw. I've drank old fashioneds for many years. They are always stirred. And never drank with a straw. But she claimed she's made these for years. Someone else came and told us she could take off the soda but not the old fashioned. I said I only drank half as they took it away. Well they won't take it off. So I asked for half my drink back if I have to pay for it. They gave me a new small drink. It was terrible. We paid the check, tipped the waitress in cash (she did nothing wrong other than being too busy). I cannot get over the bar manager speaking to me that way. We will not be back.

I've been here several times now, and I've genuinely enjoyed the dishes. That said, even though everything is still very good, some of the menu items have changed. I just wish that when we told our waitress we'd been there before, she would've mentioned that some menu items were updated. We ended up ordering our favorite items because the names were the same on the menu, but the descriptions (how it was prepared) were different--so we didn't think to look closely at the descriptions. For example, the crudo is now a salmon crudo with capers. Before, it was tuna with cucumbers, which I honestly love and prefer over the salmon. The chicken dish was also switched up. When I told friends who haven't gone yet, they were disappointed as well. The chicken dish is now a mushroom sauce version, and we definitely tasted it, but we weren't expecting it to be different when we ordered. Since there are a lot of regular customers, I think it would be helpful to mention when some items have changed, especially when the names stay the same. We didn't even think to read the descriptions because the names looked familiar.

My dish was the ravioli and it was good not great. It was also lukewarm once it was finally delivered and I did not want to send it back again and wait even longer to eat. My friends ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese, Pasta Primavera and the Cacio e Pepe. They enjoyed the Primavera and the Bolognese however they said the Cacio Pepe lacked flavor. Before going into this restaurant, I read the reviews and was skeptical, but wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I understand they are working on improving things, however for me personally, I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. I may try the Huntington location as that has a better reputation.

We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night, yet it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our food. Even then, at the 45-minute mark, only about 40% of our order arrived. For a party of six, our order was not particularly complicated: two burritos, two taco meals, a chicken sandwich, and guacamole with chips. The remainder of the order did not arrive until the 1.5-hour mark. To make matters worse, my son's meal was incorrect when it finally came out, adding even more delay and frustration to an already lengthy wait. Throughout the wait, there were no drink refills, no updates on our order, and little attention from the staff. We also received no napkins or serving utensils with our food and had to ask for basic items that should have been provided from the start. The dining experience itself lacked any atmosphere. There was no music playing and no television on, which only made the long wait feel even longer and more uncomfortable. As for the food, it was lackluster and underwhelming. Tortilla chips and fries were burned. Bun for chicken sandwich was not warmed. The dishes were very basic, with little presentation or attention to detail, and they certainly did not justify the extended wait. What made the experience especially confusing was that this all happened while we were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. A simple order, an empty dining room, no communication, no refills, an incorrect meal, and a 90-minute wait just didn't make sense. The only positive aspect was that the restaurant is dog-friendly. Otherwise, this was one of the most frustrating and puzzling dining experiences we've had in a long time.
