    Sushi

This is one of those small, unassuming spots that ends up being a great little find. The restaurant is cozy, and while it's not fancy, the staff is incredibly attentive and quick--I barely had to wait for anything, which was amazing. The sushi here is really fresh, and what blew me away was that they honor their lunch specials on Saturdays! That's pretty rare, and it makes it such a great value. I had the lunch special with special rolls, and everything was well-made and delicious. I also tried their ramen with the wine special. The seafood in the ramen was super fresh, but the broth was a little underwhelming--it lacked the usual salty, bold flavor you expect from ramen. It wasn't bad, just a bit on the lighter side. Overall, this place offers great service, fresh food, and some really good deals, especially on the lunch specials. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Mineola and looking for a quick, satisfying meal. I'll be back for the sushi, and maybe next time I'll try the hibachi!

Solo dining experience: Overall the food was really good. They have an excellent deal with sushi + ramen + a drink for $20! The fish was really fresh and the plate presentation was great. Taste was amazing, the broth was super flavorful and the meat was incredibly tender. Verdict: I'm gonna come here way too often

They were nice and quick with my order. Rolls were tasty. It was pricey because I ordered 2 rolls which equal 12. It came out to be close to $12. $1 a roll is a bit much. You are charged a few cents more for using a credit card. Ambiance is lovely. Wooden benches and chairs. Located near Citibank. Meter parking in front.

Food profiles were excellent! I had the spice girl roll and the beef spicy ramen. My server was very kind. Prices are amazing for the quality of food.

    Yummy!

Ramen was so good . All ingredients were fresh and the seasoning of the pork and broth was perfection ; drooling just thinking of this ramen. I placed a order on uber eats and went to pick it up because I was sick ; order was ready in 10 minutes and to say the least , this will be a regular ramen place for me !

I was in the area for work on a a Monday evening and decided to look for something hot for dinner since it was so cold outside. I came across this establishment and decided to give it a shot. I noticed that there were a lot of takeout orders (mostly UberEats)... seems that every driver had to wait about 5-15 minutes to pick up after arrival. There were a few people who chose to dine-in but not many. I read the mixed reviews on the ramen and will agree that the broth is good but not perfect - perhaps a little watered down? I was disappointed with the noodles as they seemed to be way underdone. The shumai I thought was a great appetizer for portion and price. I'd come back, just don't have high expectations.

I took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 offer for the holiday special roll on Uber Eats. The roll and smoothie hit the spot. Definitely worth to order the smoothie. The order was packaged really well and portions were filling. Previously we also ordered the salmon teriyaki and combination roll lunch specials, which were not pictured because at that time we were hungry and decided to take advantage of the down time we had when the baby was sleeping.

A great spot for Ramen. We ordered the tonkatsu and shoyn ramens and were very pleased with the chicken and pork broth but did think it was on the saltier side and the amount of Ramen per order was very generous. The char siu were sliced thick and cooked perfectly with the right fat to meat ratio. The egg was on point as well The Taki Yaki was pretty good, but lacked the Bonito flakes I usually see topped and waving around. Overall, the meal was satisfying and lunch special hours are available from Monday to Saturday from 11am till 3pm. Sorry, no lunch specials on the Ramen though. Convenient by car, train and bus. Definitely will be back in the future to try the other items on the menu. The service was A plus as well.

    Spicy Tantan Ramen dinner

A buddy of mine told me I have to try Miso Ramen, it's the best ramen he had in a long time. Interesting I went because I always get these statements from folks who have a local spot they enjoy. I read the Yelp reviews, lemme swing by for some ramen. Parking? Like a rock star, right up front. I fed the meter, my license plates say Billy Salts but it doesn't impress the police handing out tickets for an expired meter. I walk in and ask if I can dine inside? I'm shown to a table, I'm the only one in the restaurant. Lots of food delivery folks coming in but no dining customers. I ordered the spicy Tantan ramen with ground pork. What was brought to my table was pure joy in a bowl. A properly prepared bowl of flavorful Ramen. Best to describe as a symphony of flavors and I dove right in. Noodles, pork, eggs, oh my! I was slurping and splashing away, my glasses had spots and I splashed onto my shirt. I had to throw a sweater over my shirt when I went back to work, hahahah. It's that good, don't judge me! Miso Ramen, it was a pleasure to dine at your establishment. One of the best ramen bowls I had in a while.

Lychee soda. Not the easiest to open. Overall taste - yum.

The grilled pork in all the ramen dishes is soooooo good. I've never tasted pork like this. Melts in your mouth. Overall the ramen dishes were good. The dumplings also very good. Fresh. A place we'd definitely return to.

I was craving something different other than the normal food I always get from my usual spots. This was my first time having ramen on Long Island, which was an extra special treat. The location is pretty decent being a couple of blocks away from Roosevelt Field Mall and the LIRR. However, parking is a pain because you only have metered parking on one of the busiest streets possible. We got the tonkotsu ramen, chicken ramen, chashu buns, crispy chicken buns and salmon teriyaki to-go. The food was excellent and the authentic taste brought back memories when we vacationed in Japan. The ramen broth was just right. The buns, I like them both equally. Their chashu is really flavorful whether it's in the ramen or bun. The restaurant is rather spacious and customer service was beyond superb. Our waitress, who is also the owner, was friendly, attentive and engaged in amazing conversation. If you're craving Japanese ramen, look no further!

We had a craving for ramen. With all the restaurants shut down again in NYC, we had to find something on Long Island. After looking around, we decided to try Miso Ramen and Hibachi. We walked in late afternoon on a weekday and discovered that they are takeout and delivery only. Sadly, we turned to walk out as I had no intention of eating ramen in my car. The disappointment on our faces must have moved the owner as they ran out after us to tell us that they will let us eat inside! The food did not disappoint. We ordered: Takoyaki - fresh, not frozen. It was creaming and savory. Fried Chicken tenders - more like katsu than kirage Miso Ramen - very rich with generous portions of Chasu and veggies. Shoyu Ramen - see above. Salmon Teriyaki - my kid finished all the fish. This is a good sign. Hibachi Steak - very tender cubes of steak, but could have used a bit more seasoning. The fried rice was spot on hibachi style. Ambience: typical Japanese sit down styling. Since they are primarily takeout now, you see boxes all over the place. Service - the waitress was (overly) enthusiastic. She must have just gotten her Christmas bonus? TLDR: don't need to drive into Flushing for a Ramen fix when Miso is here.

    Is there restaurant parking?

No, it is all street & local parking. And be aware - most street parking is metered. They actively ticket.

I went to this place for few years, but the service is going down to hell. This year January freezing cold, me and my friend went to lunch. servant put us to counter table next to the door with heavy coat and gifts, even thought there were at least 4 tables available. This time I visited Yutaka Ramen with my parents and ordered the fried smelt, but I was served fries instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the server insisted that I had ordered fries and made it seem like it was my fault. Eventually, she said in an arrogant tone that she would give me the fries for free, but she later took the fries away from my table, and no one apologized for the mistake. What disappointed me the most was not the wrong order, but the attitude. Mistakes happen, but blaming the customer, refusing to acknowledge the error, and failing to offer a simple apology is unacceptable. My parents witnessed the whole interaction, and it was embarrassing and frustrating. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism.
