I first heard about Teamo on Jnstagram years ago and they were on my list of places to try if I ever found myself in Chicago so imagine my surprise to find them in VA! I've been to their Mosaic District a couple times now and had a great experience every time. They have self order kiosks which I love since it gives me time to think about what I want to order. I recommend their classic organic milk tea and passion fruit jasmine oolong, both are which are delicious. And as a bonus, their drinks are served in these super cute cans

We were in the Mosaic District for the Phillipines Independence Day Festival (Wow so many people! It was a lot of fun ^^), and we were feeling a little bit dizzy from the huuuuge crowds of people. We were trying to meet up with some friends, and so we needed a place away from the crowds, and we decided to go to Te'Amo, which turned out to be the perrrrfect refuge! It wasn't crowded at all, there were tables available, and at the time we got there, nobody else was in line. I decided to get their limited edition Blue Mango Sky drink, one of the specials to celebrate Phillipines Independence day and... it was OK, to be honest I don't think I've ever had a good blue colored mango drink so it's not their fault. Maybe something traditional from their menu would be more tried and true? At any rate, I LOOVE drinks that combine both mango and grapefruit, and so that one was a total hit. Also to top it off (heh), one of our drinks' can tops had a free drink prize printed on it! Hooray! So we got a 3rd drink for free that we gave to our friend once they arrived :D

I stopped by one day after work just for a little treat to myself. It was almost at the end of the day, so they were actually out of a lot of their sweet treats. I didn't get to try any, but I did get a drink. They were quite busy with a lot of people grabbing mobile and take-away orders. They also had a couple groups of people in the shop hanging out. They had very cutesy and cozy decor, so I can see why people hang out in there. I would too if I didn't have anywhere else to be. For my drink, I ordered the Strawberry Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. It was actually quite delicious. It wasn't too sweet or tart. It's also a really pretty drink! LOL. I wish I would've been able to try some of their pastries, but again, because I came in towards the end of the day, they ran out. I would definitely come back again.

Passion Fruit Jasmine Oolong Tea -- 8/10 yum!

Came by last minute for a sweet treat & was glad I did! I ordered a passion fruit oolong tea w lychee jelly & it was really yummy & refreshing. I only wish their drinks weren't so pricey , it's just tea. They also have really cute decor on the inside & seating available.

Came in for bubble tea and was greeted with a wide variety of options. I decided on the strawberry matcha boba this time--it was okay, nothing too memorable. I've tried the dalgona coffee boba a couple of times in the past as well, but again, nothing has really wowed me. That said, their panna cotta is a standout--perfectly creamy and just the right amount of sweet. The space itself is aesthetically pleasing and makes for a nice hangout spot, but when it comes to the drinks, I haven't found anything that truly impresses me yet

Easy to order with the kiosks and cute packaging. The desserts were just ok. Sunrise smoothie: refreshing and tasted exactly as expected. The can lids were EXTREMELY difficult to open. Mango coconut panna cotta: very watery and overwhelming mango puree flavor, I do not recommend. Thai volcano milk tea: super strong Thai tea flavor, really delicious. However, the boba was small and hard, I'm guessing undercooked, took away from my satisfaction with the drink. The seating did not look very clean either

I'm really glad there is a boba shop in Mosaic District now! Right next to Pastry Xpo and Nieon Nail Bar, TE'AMO serves a variety of boba across milk and fruit teas and desserts such as mochi donuts, panna cotta, and cheesecake baos. You can order at the kiosk (they have 2 to reduce the lines) or at the register. With their teas, there are plentiful toppings to choose from and you can also modify the ice and sweetness levels. I enjoyed the dalonga matcha with bubbles a little too much (I finished it quickly!) and my daughter was a big fan of the Oreo mochi donut. Their ingredients are organic and all natural, and their drinks come out with a can top similar to soda which is pretty unique. The staff has also been friendly every time that I've visited. The interior aesthetic is warm, inviting, and IG worthy for all of your foodie photos.

This is another boba place in NOVA and it's pretty good! The interior of the store is (very pink) with a decent amount of seating. You order with a kiosk and the they were pretty quick. I like that they have so many dessert options. The variety/types of drinks they have aren't too unique, but they are served with a can top that you have to be a little careful when opening. I ordered the thai tea with boba and it hit the spot. Not too sweet with a strong thai tea flavor, but it's not like spectacular. I would definitely come back here if I were in the area, though!

It is a rather new esteablishment at Mosaic which serves boba, lots of Asian cakes including match crepes, passionfruit crepe ($11) etc. It is quite pricey for a very small slice of cake but tastes very good. Service is very good. Interior is clean and it is a nice place to grab a drink or a cake and chat with friends.

Dalgona Coffee W/ Boba and Tres Leches Cake
    Kanitha O.

While the Dalgona coffee boba was delicious, the tres leches wasn't my favorite. It was picture-perfect, but the coconut flavor just wasn't for me. Still, I'd give it a solid 3/5 stars overall -- I'd definitely come back for the coffee and to try some of the other treats!

Stopped by this boba bar in the Mosaic district - this establishment has a variety of different boba drinks and desserts. It originated from Chicago and is women-owned! The inside is very decorated and bright - very cute inside. A great place to invite friends and hang out. I got the Ube Milk drink, which comes in this fancy little can shape cup. You can adjust the sugar level, and add any toppings you'd like. They also have this new dessert that I've never tried before called Panna Cotta. It's like a coconut jelly dessert and it comes in this glass jar. It was very decadent - it comes in multiple flavors. I would be interested in trying their other drinks and sweets. Highly recommend!

Good spot to treat yourself whenever you are around the Mosaic District! - Strawberry Dalgona Matcha -- sweetness level is good from the strawberry puree and matcha foam It is on the pricey side for the size of the can. Some drinks may not come with toppings so I was glad mine came with boba without an additional fee. The interior is pretty with cute wall decors, but limited indoor seating.

Cute bright clean tea shop with feminine pink decor. There are two kiosks to order from and with it a slew of choices : teas, slushies, coffee and even savory snacks and desserts. Decided to go with the volcano Thai tea with boba, mango coco bliss with lychee and their cheesecake bao. I was so excited because I love the traditional soft doughy-ness of savory baos and thought a sweet center would be a delightful combination. Was a little disappointed when the bread of the bao was very tough and chewy! I barely got through the first and did not touch the second. 4 stars for the sweet drinks but zero for the dessert.

So I was sold walking in. I did get up and order more things, like a fall inspired cookie ice cream sandwhich, all alone by itself in a sea of other flavors, I had to rescue it. And the sour macrons! When did that become a thing??? They were so good and perfect for our movie night later that day. I'm very happy to have stumbled across this find.

They even have a dog menu, and the patio setup is honestly beautiful. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and aesthetically on point. The staff greets you right away, and first impressions were genuinely great. We chose to sit outside on the balcony so my puppy could join us, and that space alone is worth noting -- fire pits going, cozy atmosphere, just really well done. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered food for all of us, including my daughter and my puppy. My food and my puppy's food came out fairly quickly, but my daughter's meal never arrived. After waiting quite a while, I had to flag down the waiter, only to be told -- after the fact -- that they didn't even have what she ordered. At no point before that did anyone communicate this. So now she has to reorder, and we're waiting all over again while the rest of us are already eating. When her food finally arrives, there's no silverware. Just... dropped off with no thought to the fact that she actually needed utensils to eat. We also ordered lemonade, which was great -- but when the waiter offered to bring more after the issues, it never came. To try and make up for things, they brought out a dessert that looked beautiful, but when we asked what was in it (due to food sensitivities), the waiter had no idea. He eventually came back with an allergy sheet, which felt like an afterthought rather than informed service. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead, the waiter told me, "I just got out of trouble -- what can I do to make this right?" That response alone was incredibly off-putting and unprofessional. We ultimately just had my daughter's meal removed from the bill and decided to move on. Even my puppy's waffles -- which was one of the things we were most excited about -- came out slightly burnt. Overall, the lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disorganized service completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. It's disappointing because the space and concept have so much potential. Unfortunately, I can't overlook the service issues.
