The bubble tea craze has hit Reno and BTSC is the leader here. Large and clean BTSC has lots of seating for a tea spot. We tried the Kona Mocha with boba and a standard Milk Tea with boba. My Kona Mocha was very tasty and the Milk Tea had good flavor as well. The boba were firm with good chew. The only odd thing was both drinks were pretty darn hot and took a while to cool down from the melting ice. It would be nice if there were a way for the server to cool down the drink before pouring it over the ice as the ice instantly waters down your drink. I have really never seen such hot drinks shrink wrapped and served up. Overall BTSC is a good spot to satisfy your bubble tea craving. BTW this spot is right next door to Hiroba Sushi. read more

Definitely the best boba place in Sparks, NV. They have a wide selection of flavors to choose from besides your standard flavors (ex. Thai tea, taro, mango, etc.). Most recently I tried the Tiramisu milk tea! They also have some small snacks like cheesecakes & other desserts in case you want a snack. It's not a place to go for a full meal. The prices are standard, customer service has always been great, and the store is always clean. I honestly go probably once a week. The place seems to be doing really well! Boba is our go to during summer evenings that being said we kicked off first day of summer 6/21/22 by picking up some poke and milk tea from Bubble Tea Station Cafe. A friends daughter works here and thought we'd try. We travelled to Taiwan a little bit ago and tried real milk tea with tapioca pearls. So we are now very picky about our milk tea. Seems like most places around town over do it with their syrups and or powders. So sweet! We ordered classic milk tea with boba. These drinks were grainy and had very little boba. Boba was not soft to our liking and were not filled to the top. Drinks were lukewarm and just not very appetizing. This was our first time here and a little disappointed. First boba cafe in the Reno/Sparks area after so many years!!!!! I am so excited to see how Reno is becoming more and more diverse! The aesthetic place is minimalistic and have the cali boba cafe feels. I ordered the Sea Salt Jasmine Milk Tea with coffee jelly. I originally wanted to try the boba but I unfortunately came right before closing. I liked the idea of sea salt cap but it wasn't as prominent to what I'm used to. In addition, I saw them brew the jasmine tea with a French press, which is a great idea because it's freshly made for you. However, this takes some time to brew and if not brew long enough the milk is more over powering than the tea. Coffee jelly was really tiny squares and harder than I'm used to (small serving size), but then again I came before closing. If I could rate the drink would be a 2.5/3 star rating. The service was amazing and they opened a week ago. I have high hopes for this place to succeed and more boba shops pop up in town. I will be returning to follow up. read more

This place is super cute. I ended up here because my niece was dying for a boba tea this weekend so my sister and I stopped to get one on the way home from running errands. After ordering their drinks my sister asked if I wanted one and felt pretty confident that I would like it so I got what she got - an iced coffee boba. There were 4 people in front of us before ordering and only one person working. She took all of our orders before starting drinks so I it did take a while. Im not sure if this is typical on a Sunday but if it is, don't come in if you're in a hurry. A couple walked in and waited a bit while our drinks were being made and ended up leaving. My thoughts on the actual drink: the flavor of the iced coffee was really good. I wasn't a fan of the boba. It wasn't bad, I just didn't feel like it added anything to the drink except for maybe busy work. LOL I would come back to try a drink sans boba and maybe try one of their crepes or desserts. I was curious to check this place out after seeing they offered taiyaki on Instagram, however it did not live up to what I had expected. I've only been here maybe twice in the past due to their boba not being the best as well as very long wait times although there are never that many customers. The taiyaki was very disappointing and I'm not even sure what I expected after receiving it. I've been to a number of places that serve this kind of dessert and the batter was off along with the fish falling apart the second it was handed to me. The ice cream inside was fine as well as the toppings, but it did not impress me as it was such a hassle to eat because the fish was leaking everywhere. Overall would not recommend. Their boba is decent but not the best, however the staff are always helpful and nice. Not sure if I would come back here unless there were major improvements overall. read more

I hadn't had boba for years until I tried this place recently and I have been back several times since! I really like Bubble Tea Station for their menu and ability to adjust the sweetness of each drink. I don't like a lot of sugar in my teas and coffees and this place offers the option to choose a lower amount of sugar up to 25% which makes a big difference in my opinion! They offer a very wide selection of drinks from coffees to teas to even slushees--so you can really find a drink for whatever your in the mood for! I also really appreciate that they have non dairy options for their milk teas and coffees! I was actually looking forward to them opening at noon, along with two other customers who showed up before they opened up. My two nephews don't actually complain much about their drinks, as long as it's sweet and decent. However, they both were super disappointed with their drinks especially because I told them I'd been here before and I liked what I ordered. My sea salted green tea was super sweet and milky. There was no sign of any tea flavor in it at all. I was super disappointed. I ended up taking only 3-4 sips and gave up. I wasn't willing to put so much sugar in my body when it didn't taste good. I was never a huge Boba fan until I tried Bubble Tea Station. They have a great sized menu and I can't wait to keep trying more varieties. My favorites so far have been the Peach Tea with Lychee Popping Boba. It is a tad on the sweet side, which I don't mind, but I did see a lot of people ask for 50% sweet. I'm seriously bummed. Nothing fancy about this place. Boba teas are typical and are similar to all other teas in the area. I come here strictly for their ube cheesecake. I've been coming for at least ten months. It's unique and you can't find it anywhere nearby. I drive over 1 1/2 hours and call in advance to make sure they have it. If you look at another reviewer's pictures you can see the size. It's a great thick cut with a yummy glaze they make in house. The crust is not super thick but it covers the bottom and a side and not soft or crumbly. For $7.25 or so, this was a steal. I came by today and it looks absolutely different. There is no glaze. The graham cracker crust is pathetically thin and because of that, it is soft and wet. It doesn't hold well and offer a different texture to the cheesecake. And the most important is the size. You know the Cesar dog food you give to little chihuahuas ? It's that size. I asked what the fuck happened ? And they said ingredient price increased so they had to make it smaller. Ok, so make it a smaller version of the original. Make it resemble a cheesecake instead of looking like it was smooshed into the smallest can they could get their hands on. Make an effort to make it similar. I would rather pay $10.25 for the original as I'm sure others would too. Please owners, read this and make a change. read more

The quarantine has been hard on everyone so me and the family have been trying to spread our business to different establishments. This would be our third time this week going to get bubble tea at this location. Everything was great until today. First off, Boba is good. Taro cheesecake is dope. But service is hit and miss. Normally I have no problem here and until today I never did have a problem. The young boy who works the register is always nice and the older dude is dope too. I'm guessing he may be the owner? I love bubble tea and go to different spots around town weekly. Yesterday 6/2/20 I had the unfortunate mishap of a bubble tea literally breaking and spilling in my car. It got everywhere. Sucks I know. I wasn't blaming anyone all I was doing was handing it to the back seat and it broke spilling everywhere. I went up to the window and asked for napkins. After soaking up what I could I was gonna order another one but the younger dude that took our order offered to remake it. So I was like "cool ok sounds good". He was super nice I stepped to the side to wait while he helped other people. A lady from the back came out with my replacement bubble tea and started lecturing me telling me that I can't be stabbing the straw hard and have to be careful. I told her I didn't even use the straw yet I was just moving it. For whatever reason she keeps lecturing me in front of the other customers on how if I stab the straw too hard it will go through the plastic but I kept telling her that I never even used a straw, that cup broke while in my hands. She kept scolding me. I don't know what was wrong with her but at this point I don't ever want to come back. Not only was that uncalled for but she pretty much tried to scold a grown ass man in front of other customers. So unprofessional. I didn't even expect you to remake the drink, I was gonna order another but since your boy on the register offered, why not. Needless to say I'm still cleaning that shit out of my carpet and I will most likely never go out of my way to come to any bubble tea station. It's a shame we were racking up big receipts at this store this week alone. Taro cheesecake and cassava cakes are the best of the sliced desserts they currently have. Boba is good. Such a small parking lot for a complex with so many great businesses. Let me just say that I sent my tastebuds in to a spiral :) I ended up getting a Halo halo... what the heck is a Halo Halo you ask (or maybe you didn't) well Halo-halo (Tagalog for "mixed"), also spelled haluhalo, is a popular Filipino cold dessert which is a concoction of crushed ice, evaporated milk and various other ingredients such as ube, sweetened beans, coconut and a variety of other great taste bud friendly ingredients that make this an amazingly irresistible tasty"filipino sundae". Facility is super clean, modern and has that vibe which makes you feel like you can just hang out with your friends and family for awile. Plenty of seating and good music and yes they a have a gender neutral restroom that is very clean. If I had to critique one thing and one thing only about this place; I would have to say maybe consider replacing the stools with shorter stools because the ones currently in use are too high for the short tables. Coming from the Bay where you're saturated with tons of boba shops this one is ok to my standards, but by far the best in town compared to the rest. There isn't much "tea" options, just your standard milk tea flavors. There wasn't an option to choose your percentage of sweetness or level of ice, but so far the sweetness is about 50% from what I tasted (I prefer mine about 25%) and the ice portion was perfect. I originally ordered taro milk tea, but they only had enough powder for 1 scoop, so we mixed it up with matcha (which wasn't bad). The texture itself isn't chalky/powdery, and I think this is due to the intensive shaking the machine they use does. The boba was perfect, just maybe slightly overcooked to my liking, but there was a few pieces that were perfect (nice bite to it) and had that sticky texture I like (not the bouncy ball kind). Overall I would return to this location and I would recommend it to to friends that have that boba milk tea craving they are dying to kill. Though, I would like to see more actual tea options in the future and possibly customizable options like sweetnees and ice, and maybe a stamp/loyalty card? read more

I've been here two times (evening and around noon) and both times I've been told that they're still making boba or they have ran out. They just opened, so I understand they're still working things out. But the two times I've been here I haven't been impressed. The two drinks I've gotten here were either too milked down where you couldn't taste the tea or too much flavor was being used. Service is friendly, but if you come during a rush be ready to wait. I've been to their other location in midtown a few times and the drinks there were good, but the tapioca was sometimes inconsistent in texture. This is their new location right next to Hiroba. They have a good range of milk and fruit teas within the normal price range (actually way cheaper than Vegas). The tapioca is consistent if the owners are the ones working and making the drink and I was surprised by how much I liked their milk teas. They're still in their soft opening phase, so there were a few mishaps with our drink order, where they forgot to make one drink and made another drink wrong, but we understand. I was happy to see Sparks expanding its horizons and getting a mainly boba place finally, figured we had to try it out! The place was very sleek and clean inside, great for hanging out to drink boba with friends or study peacefully. I got the mango milk tea with boba and my friend got the milk tea. The mango flavor was strong enough to satisfy but also wasn't overwhelming. The boba was nice and chewy, maybe could be a little sweeter though. Main complaint was the drink was a little warm at first. A quick 10 minutes in the fridge solved the problem though. Overall the place was good with easy fixes. Some friends and I went here after having some sushi next door. I'm not a big fan of boba but I do enjoy milk tea! They had a pretty decent list of different sorts of teas and even toppings (not just boba). The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions. I purchased a lavender tea and a Thai tea (I saved the Thai tea for tomorrow, but my sister and I shared the lavender this evening). I don't check in all the time im here but since my work is near this bubble station i go with my coworkers to refresh and try the desserts here, shhh no diet here haha The cashiers/baristas are always so nice and remember us. This location is the best Bubble Tea Station in town: way better than the one in Meadowood mall and slightly better than the one in Midtown. Although not the best boba cafe in town, it certainly makes up for the lack of depth and flavor with its price. The milk teas here can be hit or miss. Some days they add too much milk, making the tea flavors nonexistent. Other days are better, and you can really taste the Tea without the milk overpowering it. The same goes with the boba consistency. The boba can be perfect sometimes: with it being a little firm, but still chewy. Sometimes they're rock solid. When this place is good, they're really good! And even when they're bad, they're okay. Service is okay as well. Since they just opened, they're still trying to figure everything out, so I get it. But if more than three people come in at a time, the wait can be awhile. The ambiance of the place is minimalistic and a little classy. There are few tables and there's ample room to walk around. And they even have chandeliers on the ceiling! What really catches my attention and what I really like about this place is the price! The price for a small milk tea is $3.00 and the price for a large is $3.50. That's completely unheard of in Reno! Those are California and Vegas prices! Boba in Reno can typically get up to $5, so this place is significantly cheaper. I understand they just opened, so they're working on getting everything right, so I'll definitely cut them some slack. I ordered a mango milk tea with no boba & my husband ordered a Taro milk tea with boba. I like the Taro milk tea over the mango. The Taro milk tea is made from powder so it's a bit on the seeet side versus fresh Taro, but it was made really well. I think there was a few mistakes on my mango milk tea. 1. There was "boba slime" in my cup, meaning I think they accidentally put boba in my cup and took it up but the residue from it stayed. 2. My drink was extremely extremely sweet. 3. It was thick. I felt like it was an easy fix, I just ask the cashier for a cup filled half way with water. She was questionable and I told her the reason why. She offered to make a new drink and she also overestimate tea instead of water (the drink is tea based). I was content with just getting the water. I added the water and it helped a lot. This place is extremely clean. I think it's fairly new and still a work I. Progress since the bakery/refrigerated food was empty. I like the white and bright decor they went for. read more

Feels like a friendly environment and you get the plus of having a refreshing drink. They have benched seating and stool seating. Parking is harder when pegs and hiroba are both open. Worth the walk if you park a little ways away. They have boba, popping pearls, and all types of jelly. If your simple you don't need the additives. Just have a tea, or milk tea. The price is food it ranges from 3 to 3.50. The co-owner always has a smile on her face and runs this place well. Super clean and super adorable. Come for a date night if you like. After living in Vegas for a while, my boba standards have become a bit higher; this place does just the trick. My problem with Reno boba is that their boba is not that chewy! They're usually on the firmer side, but Bubble Tea Station Café have perfected their tapioca pearls. The pearls are the right amount of chewy and gooey, making them have a great bite. Now for their drinks, they are delicious! The honeydew snow is very flavorful and you can really taste the fruitiness of it. The Thai tea is also good; the only complaint I had with this drink is that it tasted a bit watered down. I'm sure it was a fluke in the making of the drink, and I'll be sure to update my post the next time I have this drink. What I also like about this boba spot is that you can adjust the sweetness of their drinks! All of the Vegas boba spots have this as an option, so it's great to finally see this option in the Reno/Sparks area. I came here for the first time with my daughter. When we walked in we were greeted by two young ladies, they were very nice. Inside was spacious, clean and classy which I liked.
