I love this place, it's best place to wash your own car. The brushless system is awesome and the new "wax" and dry system works so well.

Convenient and pretty well taken care off. Soap is replenished, vacuums are strong. I like this self wash a lot.

Bubbles' is a professionally run self-service hand car wash - starting with the owner Curtis - consummate pro!. Case in point, I noticed that my car had a ding i.e. during my washing and consulted with Curt as to the best way to deal with it - he graciously passed me onto one of his friends and colleague, I got a prompt quote, got my car fixed the following day and I am completely satisfied i.e. quality/price. It is so nice to have a touchless car wash in the area. There were several people there using the bays or vacuums. Everything seemed in working order except for maybe spray wax but it could have been user error since it was my first time there. I have been through automatic washes and I end up having random scratches; it's just not worth it. read more

You put in your credit card and then decide how long you want to go. All you have to do is press the flashing blue button to stop it. They have wax they have an air dryer spotfree rinse; it is the way to go. I highly recommend this place. read more

Nice self wash, but I paid $10 for 9 minutes. Not sure about others saying 15 mins for $5, that was not my experience today. $10 for self wash seems high when the drive through washes are only $5. read more

Every time I go, there is never a wait and I can get my washing done and be on my way. Excellent self-service car wash. Super cheap, clean, convenient and efficient.

Needed a special low pressure wash just for the engine compartment. It was impossible to find an auto detail place which could do a thorough engine cleaning, top & bottom, without damaging engine electronics, etc. So I bought a couple cleaning products just for the job, found this old school carwash BUBBLES, and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean facility. Very up to date equipment. Very easy to use. There was even an ultra-low pressure spot-free rinse setting that worked beautifully for cleaning the engine and all the hardware under the hood. Truly a great experience with this carwash. My engine compartment looks like a brand new car. Thank you!!! read more

Bubbles is a great, quiet, spacious self-service car wash. The bays are wide, the sprayer moves around your car easily, there is a choice of a spotless rinse which I love!, and soap, wax and foam tire wash is available from the machine. It was easy to swipe my credit card too, so didn't have to worry about bringing a ton of change. I also like that it's off Scottsdale Rd., so nice, quiet and out of the way of main street traffic. I didn't use them, but there are also vacuums for a fee of $1.00. All in all, a great place to polish your car up. Highly recommended! read more

Def the best self service car wash I've ever been to. The only reason it's not five stars Is because 2 or three times I've gone there was a crapload of mud/dirt left from someone else but that is not the owners fault and he does have a sign saying "no excessively dirty cars" or something like that. On a more positive note, the owner is a very kind man. One morning I was there and it was particularly hot and he saw I was pouring sweat (gross I know) and he offered me a bottle of water. In a great spot right off scottsdale rd. Was nice and clean, well lit at night. Has clamps on the bay wall, they worked great to wash some old dirty mats. Also has a dryer you can use by hand that worked well. There is a beer store next door so at night a few people were cutting across the lot, but there was a cop sitting out front most the time if you were worried. Owner showed up while i was there and was friendly and chatted with the cop as if its common they sit there, which is nice at night when your not paying attention to your surroundings as much. read more

I drive across the country frequently and always look for a self serve car wash to clean the road grime off my car at least twice a week. I prefer to do it myself since most regular car washes use towels that scratch the paint. Bubbles is one of the best facilities I have found. The big difference is the cleanliness of the bays, the well maintained wands and brushes, and the quality of the water, pre-soak, soap, and spot free rinse products. For example the soap from the wand and the brush settings flows out in large quantities so you don't have to spend extra time waiting/ hoping that the tanks are not low or empty. And the spot free rinse result was great, I tried two other locations in Phoenix and Mesa and my car was riddled with soap spots even after the rinse and spot free treatments, Another plus includes the $5.00 for 15 minutes option. This allowed me to pre-soak, wash, rinse, wax, and spot-rinse and still have time left. Other businesses only give you the $2.00 for 4 minute rate which costs more with poorer results. A final plus was the fact that when I went there the owner Curtis was there cleaning the bays, which were immaculate to begin with. He gave me some suggestions about how to protect my car, which included using only microfiber clothes to dry the car that have never been placed in a dryer. Turns out when you wash your microfiber cloth in the washer and then put them in the dryer the fine fibers are destroyed. The degraded cloth from the dryer then scratches the cars paint finish. Curtis recommended to wash and line dry any microfibers. After I washed and dried my car you could see the difference. Curtis mentioned he uses only the best products because although they cost more they give the customer a better result. And return customers are most important to him. From New York to San Diego I have found only a handful of self serve car wash businesses worth recommending. Folks in Scottsdale are lucky to have Bubbles. read more

I am still just as delighted to have Bubbles as my goto to clean my cars. They have made some upgrades to the service available to the do-it-yourselfer like myself. Air wands to blow dry those tricky areas (chrome trim) that like to drip two minutes after you "think you" have it stopped. The property is spotless and is well lit for those evening washes. For me there is no reason to visit those other guys I drive by to get to Bubbles. read more

I went here because of all the positive reviews and all I can say that they are true. I wanted to do manual self wash since my car just returned from outdoor trip in wild and was covered with dirt, insects etc. And the wash worked very well. I only have 2 problem with the place: 1. Only one place had bonus (15 min for 5) option and it didn't had dryer, so had to wipe the whole car, which is fun but takes time and towels. And we weren't able to use dryers of other slots. 2. This is not a problem per-se but more of a suggestion. Don't use the brush. The bristles are very hard and will scratch the car. Buy a mitt online or from walmart and carry that to scrub the dirt. Things which you should carry additionaly: 1. Car wash mitt 2. Microfiber towels I am coming back for sure. read more

very disappointed. me and my boyfriend were both there to wash our cars. my boyfriend parked his car behind mine while we washed my car so he could pull in and wash his car after we were done with mine. the owner/worker walked up and started rushing us, telling us to pull forward. my boyfriend explained that we were together and that it was his car behind mine. As he was explaining this to the owner, someone pulled their car in from the other side taking the car wash before my boyfriend could pull his car in. the owner was standing right there when the person asked my boyfriend if he was waiting. we've been using this car wash for a long time. paying customers should never be rushed to wash their car's, especially when they've been waiting for a while. We will never use this car wash again. We will find another car wash to use. read more

This car wash has passion written all over it. Bays are clean, switching between wash settings takes 20-30 seconds for solutions to spray. Vacuums are a $1 and offer suctions for up to a compact car including trunk. Met the owner Curtis while I was washing, very nice guy, asked some questions about how I clean and if they acceptable at his wash. His vending machine with rags, cleaners, and scented trees is always stocked and mostly everything is a $1. I love how this wash is only 2 miles away and so quiet being a couple businesses away from Scottsdale Rd. Also $5 for 15 minutes is a awesome deal that can not be passes on. Spot free doesn't exactly mean spot free (1000x better than other spot free washes in AZ), but hey it's Arizona so I'm not to picky since I hand dry my car. This is a must see self service car wash if you care about the paint on your ride. One note Curtis made to me, that I hope everyone would obey because this is how I act in public. If you are holding up a line of cars, move along, or speeds up you washing process, this is a great wash and everyone should be able to enjoy it within 20 minutes or less. read more

Always clean and everything works perfectly; unlike most other self car washes. Very good lights for night washing and in a safe location just off Scottsdale Road. Just added air dryers you can easily handle yourself......WOW!!!! No more hand drying and troublesome streaks after you drive off.......and it only takes a few minutes. I can completely clean my vehicle and still have time for food during my work lunch hour! read more
