    Sushi Burrito & Salmon Sandwich

I love this place!! Truly a HIDDEN Gem. When following the GPS I thought I was in the wrong spot because it took me to a medical building but there it was, right in the front of the building. The atmosphere is cute inside. There's a small couch seating area with giant jenga and board games. The rest of the seating is right next to natural light from the giant windows. There's art from local artists on the wall and a page of events hosted there. The staff has always been so sweet no matter how busy they are! I wish they had more workers when they get randomly slammed but no complaints. The FOODS AND DRINKS are phenomenal. My favorites are the Ube Latte and Sushi Burrito.

Local. Community Driven. Pretty Good Bubble Tea. Bubz, a local and community-driven bubble tea café, brings a sense of inclusivity and diversity to the food scene in Kitsap County. I'm thrilled to have a place in my hometown that specializes in bubble tea and bubble waffles, eliminating the need to travel to Seattle for good options. Although Bubz may not be a top-rated bubble tea spot in Washington, it's certainly the best in Kitsap and a hidden gem in the area. I had the chance to visit Bubz soon after they opened, when they were still getting settled. The café has a few tables for customers to sit and enjoy their drinks and food. The menu options are pretty basic. I ordered the Fog and Tiger bubble tea and it was nothing extraordinary, but nevertheless pretty good compared to other nearby alternatives. The staff at Bubz are incredibly friendly. They really create a warm, family-like atmosphere. I appreciate their commitment to the community, from serving as a gathering place to supporting local schools with fundraising efforts (i.e. Bremerton High School). I'm eager to see how Bubz will continue to grow and evolve in the coming years. If there is any positive feedback I can share with Bubz, it would be to create unique and original bubble tea options. Drip Tea in Seattle is a really great example of what it means to create original and innovative menu items. If Bubz can do that, that would easily send them up the roof.

So this location is a bit hard to find because it's attached to/in a mirrored office building, so be on the lookout for that building and the sign. The café is busy and small with some preset tea options to choose from as well as bubble waffles. We got the Earl Grey Lavender Bubble Tea and the Matcha Cheese Foam tea. The Earl Grey one suited my partner and I liked it, but for me and my Green Tea Cheese Foam I was unimpressed. The flavor wasn't quite strong enough and the cheese foam did not hold up. It was also not sweet enough for my liking. There was also a lot of ice in both of our teas which diluted the flavor overall. Unfortunately it just wasn't something that worked out for us and I don't think we'll be coming back

The vibe of this place is exactly what Bremerton needed... a place to unwind & indulge in delicious drinks & grub. The owners are so down to earth and friendly. They don't seem in a rush like other cafes. I ordered the strawberry milk tea w/pearls. It was so good! Perfect amount of sweetness and didn't taste artificial.. I actually got some strawberry chunks in my drink. Pearls were perfectly chewy and not rubbery. Their original bubble waffle had a great texture to them.. crunch on the outside & soft/pillowy inside. Highly recommend for tasty boba & food! Can't wait to try other flavors on the menu.

Turkey sandwich comes with chips. Also ordered a green tea lemonade with mango.

Tasty!!!! Recommend. HIDDEN GEM! It's in the medical plaza. Enter in a shared doorway. Parking looks like it's alllll handicap, but there are others nearby. You can order take out by calling in advance or door Dash. Indoor & outdoor seating. Games to play. Donation boxes for the food bank & school supplies. They host charity events. They are so friendly & professional. Clean, comfortable, perfect music. ADA accessible. Trendy. High Quality ingredients.

My daughter came in Friday night and had the salmon sandwich. She sent a picture of it. I told her it looked a bit 'raw' even if going for a lox type of salmon. About 2-3 hours later when she got home she got very lightheaded and immediately started throwing up. She ended up being sick until Sat evening. Net net we won't be going back; particularly as I saw other reviews on Kitsap County Dining FB group (the private one) about this.

Really cute little hidden boba spot. There are a few tables inside to eat and hang out. There are also tables outside to do so too. The Pearl drinks as they call them here are just okay to me. My tarp drink was a little plain and didn't taste much taro. Everyone else agreed that their drink was just okay. I ordered one of their ube waffles, now that is a must! It was crispy and warm, melt in your mouth good. The kids and I enjoyed it a lot! I would definitely go back just for the waffles!

I loved Amole, and I love Bubz! Everyone is so friendly. And I'm so happy there's finally a boba tea shop in town. The egg waffles are made to order! I tried the classic and the ube, I hope they come out with more flavors! The drinks were all great and fairly priced. I liked that they're not overly sweet! Love the strawberry jelly in the strawberry blast!

I am 8 months pregnant and found this hidden gem ! We have zero selection on this street and was so happy to see BUBZ! I work right up the street and I hate getting fast food. This environment is so fun and welcoming. The owner is super sweet it's family owned . I have had two lunches here . The first was the open salmon waffle . Definitely interesting . Fresh salmon and salad . The waffle sweet and good . The second was the turkey sandwich was so fresh and yummy ! It came with chips . I enjoyed it . Bubble teas are freshly made as well . It was a great experience!

Tofan at Bubz presented me with the most beautifully plated dish and absolutely took me to CHURCH! After the first bite, my partner and I knew we were experiencing something special. Every vegetable on our plate was so fresh. The smoked salmon is absolutely delicious. The pickled onions...the bubble waffle. It was a full Ratatouille moment. After moving to Bremerton from Seattle 5 months ago, I was searching for a cafe with ambiance, delicious cafe food , and drinks and operated by good people. This is the place! Also, I found that they support local artist and give them a space to showcase/sell their works. I love that!

My boyfriend got their London fog while I got their matcha latte. As we waited, we took a look around and I loved the cute Halloween decorations they had as there was stuff hanging or placed neatly, nothing overly done or cluttered. They had a jar of dog treats and a bowl of candies. They also had a huge dog water bowl outside their establishment! There were a few people inside either on their laptops or chatting with others. They also had music playing at the perfect volume where you can still hear other noises but not too quiet where you can hear everything. We received our drinks quickly as we were the only ones who ordered and the drinks were delightful! We also really liked their logo on the cups but sadly some of the crow's head isn't all there. My boyfriend really loved his London fog and I did enjoy my matcha latte but it had some powder that kind of messed with my throat. But other than that, we definitely want to stop by and they do offer punch cards.

It was a great surprise to see a new indie cafe right by the bridge roundabout (12/12/25). Tiny parking lot and adjacent street parking were all full, thankfully I found a spot around the corner instead. This has outdoor seating with a great waterfront view of Sinclair Inlet, as well as, indoor seating with decent natural light. There's wrap around window seating, plus cozy couch and banquette area. The decor is pleasant with merch interspersed with art work/prints, healthy foliage, and festive touches for the holidays. Welcoming owner, I believe, at the main counter who took my beverage order. Pastries are from Macrina and coffee beans from Olympia Coffee. Aside from the usual coffee/tea bevs, there's also other food items like overnight oatmeal, breakfast burritos, smoothies, gelato, and mocktails. The barista who crafted my 16oz mocha did a fantastic job. Nicely balanced flavor wise and perfect temperature which was greatly appreciated. Most indie coffee spots are drive throughs along my route. One I had frequented on Wheaton Way had relocated and now closed. Another one I enjoy is located in the Charleston neighborhood on Callow, so it's good to add Vim & Vigor to my rotation when I'm across the sound in Bremerton.

But now they've moved to some new secret location and they're never open. I'm a businessman and I'd like to make money, and I want to be successful. So I'm confused as to why Cafe Kai is never open anymore? Don't they want to be successful in making a profit? You would think that if you move to a new location, you'd want people to find where you are located, and you'd want to be open long enough to sell some product. Cafe Kai's food is very good but their location is terrible and their hours are horrendous. I certainly hope the owners at Café Kai will read this review and maybe they'll pull the heads out of their rear end and stay open longer and perhaps make a couple of signs showing the secret hideout where they have moved. We hope they will change course stay open longer so that we can find them. OK guys ball balls in your court.

My initial visit was over nine years ago back in 2/4/17 when the restaurant was smaller. It's a great sign to see its longevity, posted local awards, and space expansion for additional seating. Interior seating choices available include booths or tables. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient handing us ice waters, menus, napkins, chopsticks, and flatware upon seating. Same pleasant interior with healthy plants and an aquarium. Menu items have expanded and also offers bubble tea. We shared a fresh roll with grilled pork and their tasty dipping sauce. Love the crunch and overall fresh composition. Mom had the seafood pho which arrived in a ginormous bowl and I opted for the steak and meatball pho in a smaller bowl. We shared the provided fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedges, but passed on the sliced jalepenos. The broth was so on point, there was no need to adjust the seasoning. But if needed, there is a variety of additional condiments available at each table to customize one's bowls further. Entree servings and content are so generous, that we ended up packing up our leftover phos. I also bought an additional iced Vietnamese phin style coffee with condensed milk to go. That was nice, smooth, and hit the spot while waiting to board the ferry. Back again in under a week with my mom, but also in tow with The Homie (5/5/26, visit 2of2). This time our visit was much earlier in the day at 1030am, but during our visit the booths filled up with others dining onsite or getting orders to go. Very personable waitperson who also gave us ample time to consider menu options. We shared again the exact fresh roll with grilled pork - tasty, consistent, and generously filled. Mom had her ginormous bowl of seafood pho again and was happy to have all the fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedge to herself. She had been fasting for an earlier doctor's appointment and labs, so she went to town and was focused on her pho. Again, chockful of shrimp, squid, imitation crab/surimi, and fish balls with onions, cilantro, plus that flavorful pho broth and noodles. The Homie was very happy to be able to order pork fried rice without the peas and carrots. Great presentation with the generous pork, scrambled egg throughout, and green onion. Despite earlier items consumed prior, he managed to eat half of the generous entree and had a considerable portion to take home. I tried their version of shaking beef with a scoop of steamed white rice, tender chunks of beef sauteed with sliced romaine, cilantro, green peppers, and onions in a garlic sauce. I did end up picking out the onions to add to the other entree of pork fried rice and separated the green peppers due to personal preference. I ate a few bites, and ended up taking the majority of it home. Again, just the sheer size of the generous serving provided. Worthy detour off of Hwy 303 in East Bremerton for consistent, flavorful menu items and on point customer service! Great dining experiences twice in under a week! 4 stars bumped up to five stars for these two recent visits.
