Everything was neatly laid out but some products I wanted didn't have my size out on the sales floor and the staff had to grab some from the back. They should check all sizes are out before they open. Would save the staff and customers time. I would shop here regularly if they actually stocked more colors and sizes but looks like I'll stick to ordering on the website.

I came to return some pants, and look at a few new items. The men's Uniform Collection is here, and nice to see in person. As we don't have any stores back home, I was intrigued when we came upon this store in Williamsburg. Note that I said "intrigued," and not "I purchased something," as I still could not wrap my mind around the prices and that "someday" was still not "this day." Staff didn't really interact with us (maybe they knew we're too poor to buy anything) but I didn't mind the opportunity to look around in peace and give my eyebrows a workout with each price tag I flipped over. The Sale rack was laughable in both the discount and the paltry selection of items available, but you better believe I looked at it anyway! The store was in great condition, too--not that that is a great shock given the average cost of an item. Someday, Patagonia, someday!

The moment we walked in they had an umbrella stand which was perfect because it was extremely rainy that day. We were welcomed by the staff and they told us there was an elevator with a kid section which was nice to see because I have a newborn son and a 6 year old daughter. However, we decided to get two sundresses instead that were amazing quality and so nice. The store is so nice and well decorated. The furniture is so comfortable that was I even able to feed my son there in peace. I would definitely return when I have extra money to splurge on nice good quality clothing.

This is their last location that remains open. By the time I post this review it may be closed too! I've used their bags as long as my daughter and I have lived in Manhattan. They also had a factory located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Like the other cool brands they are closing all their stores. Their website is great at showcasing their usual styles we have come to love. Please shop online if you want a local business for handbags and accessories. When I got my first Manhattan job my daughter suggested I purchase a messenger bag to carry daily to work. She was familiar with the Brooklyn Industries brand. We went off to the store. They had walls full of bags. I carried that messenger bag so many years I couldn't look at it anymore. It had a lot of use left in it. I highly recommend the Brooklyn Industries traditional messenger bags. After a while they developed a new style of bag. My daughter and I got on a kick again and purchased a couple bags each. I found the quality deteriorated. The edges tore and colors of the material rubbed off with little wear. When a bag is $75.00 I expect a longer wear. When I saw the bags were not being made in Brooklyn I was sad. I still have one that's brand new. I'm keeping it as a Vintage keepsake. The style was very popular and it's comfortable to carry. It's got a lot of room inside and the pockets are in front. Outside pockets are one of my requirements to easily access my keys and metro card. I'm sorry we are losing the brick and mortar of this historic company. It's clearly a manufacture issue, since the color difference is clearly from panel to panel. I wrote to them and never heard back. You don't want to stand by your product? That's fine. Good luck. But don't claim that your clothes are more sustainable and worth more because they're built to last. Nothing sustainable about making clothes that can only be worn a couple of times. It's a small men's clothes store selling mainly shirts with fresh, summery colors and designs. Classic but refreshing and cute. Price around $60 to over 100 bucks. The salesperson who I met that day was really friendly and willing to help me with my style and fitting questions. I tried some shorts and bought one without further hesitation. Over knees, Everlane kind of basic-ness, easy to wear and care but not wrinkle-induced. One of my greatest shopping experiences these days.

The shorts will not fasten. (There are other reviews I just saw complaining about QM sizing/quality control.) To make matters worse, when I looked into a return, my order is listed as a "Final Sale"!! This item was just put back in stock and is currently featured on the QM web site. As such it is cannot be returned. Nothing the the ordering process said this was a Final Sale item. In addition, to return a defective product without an exchange would be subject to a restocking fee. Plus, I assume it would be up to me to pay to return the defective product.
