Husband and I pop in here every once in awhile. We are still trying to perfect our order and are always getting something else We aren't giving up on this spot lol!

Meatloaf

One of my favorite restaurants. We went on a Saturday night and there was no wait with reservations. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to approach us for drinks. I originally ordered the Manhattan pot roast, but after another 15 minutes, they came to the table and said they were out of it. I ended up ordering the meatloaf, it was OK not stellar. We spent about two hours here, not by choice.

Very friendly and suitable for families with children or a group of friends gathering for a bite and drinks. I made a reservation and we were promptly seated upon our arrival. Maddie (? Spelling) was our server and she was excellent! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly crunchy with a tasty dipping sauce. My son adored the steak fajitas and it was plentiful. My friend had the ribeye, which was flavorful but a bit chewy and stringy with the fat. It was a lovely experience overall.

Quesadilla chicken

Nice looking restaurant, the ambiance is exactly what we expected. Tons of staff and even for a Tuesday night it was busy but service was on point. Apparently it was still happy hour at the time we came, which is half off appetizers so we ordered fried green tomatoes, quesadilla and fried pickles. Fried green tomatoes were a hit, quesadilla was mediocre and the pickles really was not good. My kid got chicken tenders and fries as expected. No issue, but didn't finish his food so probably not as good. I got the fried chicken, which was lacking in flavor. So to me it's exactly what I expected. But then came the bill and the server informed us that 2 of the 3 apps we ordered were not part of the half off eligibility. That was kind of frustrating, literally only ordered them due to the promo. So overall I have no reason to return.

Needed to kill some time before I had to head to the airport so got dropped off here by my coworker to meet a friend. Great spot along the river and located on the boarder of Kentucky and Ohio not too far by the CVG airport (Cincinnati). I wasn't that hungry and really just needed a drink as it was a crazy day. Got the margarita which was very refreshing. A perfect day too to bask in the warm weather and a great view of the river! I also couldn't resist and ordered the fried green tomatoes! It was perfectly battered and crisp. Sorry I forgot to take a pic! Our server was also very nice and attentive and always came by to check on us. But whenever you are in the Bellevue, KY area make sure you check out Buckhead Grill!

Came here with one of my besties for Mother's Day dinner and the atmosphere was just magical being over the water. Food was delicious, we had the classic chicken tenders and the roast beef. Our server was very kind (it was busy that night so things weren't super fast), but we weren't in a rush and we had so much fun just watching the water. Definitely planning on coming back and bringing the family!

This was our second visit to Buckhead's. During our first visit I tried their fried chicken which was stellar for sure. I tried something similar to that on this occasion as I tried their Classic Chicken Sandwich. It came with a fried chicken breast (grilled is also available) lettuce, onion, tomato, and a sauce of your choice. I chose 911 sauce trying for some heat. The chicken was excellent and the 911 sauce had great flavour although I wouldn't consider it hot. I got a big ole baked potato as a side topped with butter and sour cream and was delicious. We also got pretzels with beer cheese for an appetizer which was excellent. The beer cheese was particularly flavourful. The restaurant is in a very picturesque spot down by the river and they've done a great job making the building look awesome. The service was outstanding as well. I love Buckhead's and highly recommend it.

What amazing views! We traveled to Cincinnati, Newport and Covington for a couples getaway. We wanted a restaurant with good views and good food. Instead we found a restaurant with amazing views and excellent food! A must-eat place in the area.

Get the mushroom chicken... delicious. I've ordered the prime rib before and was disappointed.

I've been to Blinkers Tavern many times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is incredibly…read morerelaxing, with a nostalgic, throwback vibe that takes you back to a simpler time. The food is outstanding across the board--from the steaks to the cheese sticks--but the real star is their bread pudding. It's absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area. Parking is also easy and convenient, with a garage right across the street, as well as their own lot and additional street parking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and an even better experience.

I was so excited to try a local spot for dinner on this trip, but left disappointed. Our party of 5…read morewas seated immediately with our reservation. The hostess & I believe a manager sat us. Both were friendly & acknowledged the birthday girl in our party. Atmosphere is great. You could comfortably walk in wearing jeans or come dressed up. Neither would be over or under dressed. The menu has juuuust the right amount of options, which is great! Heather was our waitress & while she was kind, her service skills were lacking. Granted we weren't at a Michelin Star Restaurant, but we also weren't at a dive bar. There was an endless amount of awkward reaching through, over & around when refilling drinks. There were a couple of instances where she actually touched our shoulders to nudge us to the side so she could reach through. Totally not okay during service at a restaurant nicer than a dive bar. We ordered the cheese sticks starter which were so yummy! Highly recommend! A couple of us ordered the Cesar side salad & were highly disappointed. The dressing tasted like it was mayonnaise heavy & then watered down by lettuce that wasn't dried after being rinsed. Even adding tons of extra pepper didn't help. The lettuce also tasted like it has been too wet for too long. The lobster mac was ordered in the group & it was tasty but soooo greasy. So, order with caution. We had the Black N Bleu salad in the group & that was good. The Atlantic Salmon was another dinner ordered & the crust seasoning was delicious! Sadly, the salmon was a bit overdone. It does come with a lobster cream sauce, which confused me. It was only so so & I definitely skipped it entirely. The steamed broccoli was done to perfection though. Not soggy & not too crunchy. We also had the 12oz ribeye & that was great! Flavorful, cooked perfectly! I will add though, that the steak knives need an upgrade. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't return on our next trip to Newport/Cincinnati.
