We have a family coastal cottage which needed to be revamped and brought into the 21st century. This process went on for almost a month before we made the final purchases. Amy and her managers worked with us and NEVER ever put any pressure on us. I described what I had and then met him there with 2 workers. After taking a look at my items he made what I considered a very fair cash offer for everything I didn't want. His workers emptied out the units, loaded what I want to keep into my truck and the rest into theirs, and then swept the units out so they were ready to turn back over to the storage unit management. I purchased one item for $5.79, and Esty charged my credit card 32.94…read more the item was listed at $7.79 but that day we got a $2.00 discount. The next day it was on my credit card bill for $18.10, one day and then the next day Esty changed it to $32.94. This is ridiculous for a tiny 1/2 inch wooden heart. Don't trust Esty' How is it possible that they can keep changing the price on my credit card account. I knew better then ordering through this company i had been warned by many friends. But the darn heart was perfect . AND they never answer the phone, they make it very hard to complain and ask for a refund. Scamers they are!

They do NOT have a restroom so you have to drive a mile either way if you have to use it. If it was an emergency she said you can go out to the bushes. Yes. This was said. This may be important if you're drinking a lot of tea. If you just want a cup of tea they will serve it in a to go paper cup. They use plastic silverware and paper plates. But if you can spent more on a pot of tea then you can get the nice china. So I ordered the pot of tea for more money because the my mother was having a different tea. So I only had 1 cup of tea and a big pot that I didn't want. I was told that they usually serve "Starbucks" style where you go to the counter and they give you a cup of tea to go ( even if the whole point is not to go to Starbucks but have lovely afternoon with my mother) The only way you get served is if you get the pot of tea. The treats ( cookies and such- no scones in this day) are individually wrapped in ziplock bags) Again if you don't mind a different type of afternoon tea experience and you are just there maybe for the atmosphere and don't need a restroom ( sorry I keep bringing that up but I still can't believe it) then you can indulge in these teas and the company of the lovely owner. It just not our cup of tea.
