I immediately notified them And my insurance. They offered no help or substitute vehicle. They took my deductible payment and my insurance repaired their vehicle at the place they chose. They initially told me that was good and thanks for early reporting as it helped them in all ways. Months later they wanted me to pay an additional $2400 for loss of use in addition to the repairs For something I had no control over. They are definitely trying to take advantage of their customers. Yes they talked a nice game but ultimately they are not trying neither helpful like a real rental care agency or fair. My insurance company says they have paid claims all over and never had any agency try to make this claim.

Wow by far the worst car rental experience ever. Made the reservation with confirmation. Got to…read morethe airport and waited an hour in line in one of the smallest airports, one lady doing the check in while another guy was running in circles not helping her. We finally got to the counter. Found our reservation and said they did not have the staff, oops my computer went down, all the cars were still out as the people extended their reservation, we are trying to clean the cars as fast as we can, we don't have the staff, yada yada yada. She finally said to have a seat in the window and they would try to get us in a car. The 4 other counters had the customers out in a few minutes with cars. We waited in the window seats for an hour. There were 5 others ahead of us and the line of newcomers kept growing for Enterprise customers. No other line still. An hour later the people who checked in ahead of us got a car and had their say with the person who handed them the keys. After another 20 minutes the same person came out with a set of keys and called my name. He was very short as he knew people were waiting over 2 hours after their plane landed, he knew I was not happy and he handed the keys and left. There were 6 more people that made it through the lady with a thousand excuses of why we waited for a car rental with lots more still in line. We exited out and drove away with a Broncho that was not cleaned very well. Needless to say I will never use them again after what they say is a bad day for Enterprise at the Rapid City Airport.

Rented an intermediate SUV via Costco for 4 days. The car rental counter is in the airport by…read morebaggage claim so that was very convenient. Check in staff was friendly and the car was ready to go after signing the forms. We got a Jeep Compass, the backseat and trunk area were a bit dirty like it needed a vacuum. Even though the Jeep was 2024, there were scratches and scuffs so make sure you take a good video or pics when you get your car. The returning of the car was different than when you return a car rental at other airports. There was no attendant that checks the car to verify any damages, mileage or that you're returning with a full tank. You just park in any numbered spots and bring back the keys to the counter in the airport. I took a picture of the mileage and full tank to show the staff when I dropped the keys off as a just in case. I would note that since there are no staff outside when picking up or dropping off the car rental, you document the condition of your car (via videos or pics) at pick up and return to avoid any future hassles of potential damages.

I was politely greeted at the rental counter, was advised the best way to get to my destination, and was given a map that highlighted many national parks and other areas that I might have otherwise overlooked. The individual also told me about special events that were occurring at the time. The return was equally easy. I would definitely recommend Alamo at the Rapid City airport!
