We ended up staying in Rapid City for the night and they ordered parts for repair first thing the next morning. 8AM the tech started on it and we were back on the road by 9:45AM! They had the parts in stock. I spent a lot of money here in parts. They lent me the scan tool and printed out my trouble codes. They also showed me how to clear the codes when I finished. The interior was well kept, and the front parking lot was clean. I normally buy my parts via Rock auto but when I'm in a pinch I tend to go to O'Relly's vs Auto Zone.

We've been taking our car to Liberty Hyundai for a couple years now. There are several things I…read morelike about this place. 1. They're trustworthy - I've never had an unpleasant surprise. 2. They're friendly and respectful - there's a great service team here. They never talk down to customers and always treat you like they value your business and your time. 3. They communicate superbly - from start to finish you always know what's going on, and they provide excellent detail behind every service and repair they perform. 4. They're really good at what they do - they have excellent techs who know how to diagnose obscure problems and fix things right the first time. One example - I recently brought my 2014 Sonata in because the engine started shaking at low idle. I was certain it was a loose or broken engine mount when I dropped off the car and let them look into it. The diagnosis was different from what I expected - it turns out there was a wiring issue caused by mice that affected one of the wiring harnesses and it would need to be replaced. When I approved the work, the tech took a little extra time to examine the problem and figured out how to repair the harness so it wouldn't need replacement. That little extra investment on his part cut my repair cost by more than 60%. Now a less experienced shop might not have taken the extra step and I wouldn't have noticed. A less scrupulous shop might have been able to fix the wiring yet charge me the higher amount anyway, and I wouldn't have known the difference. But this shop had someone whose experience led to a simpler, yet effective fix and this shop had the integrity to pass the savings along to me. You can't get better than this, folks!

I had another technician look at my brakes, it turns out I didn't need to replace ALL the pads, the discs, and the drums. Turns out I only needed to change the front pads. So the $1600 Ryan wanted to charge me was really just the price of 2 pads and labor. Was this because I am female and I don't know much about cars? It's really a shame that people think it's ok to take advantage of others because they know we often don't know what they do. Shame on you Ryan.
