Renting a vehicle through Hertz was the worst mistake I've made in 2017. As a frequent traveler,…read morerenting a vehicle for my family has never been an issue. I rented a seven passenger minivan online prior to my arrival in Houston, TX. The prepaid up front fees were $190.00. Upon my arrival, the local representative suggested I go with the eight passenger minivan for $45 extra per day. The whole idea behind an eight passenger minivan was to have a more comfortable ride. Traveling with elderly people and children can be a challenge. I agreed to pay the additional $45 per day for the additional "seat". Needless to say, this "upgrade" was a mistake. I ended up with a basic minivan that not only was uncomfortable, but it was malfunctioning! The sliding doors jammed and I had more bells and whistles in my 95' Honda Civic. When I returned this "upgraded" minivan on Thursday, I let the gentleman at the front desk know about the issues with this minivan. He was nice enough to tell me, " we are aware of the issues and there is a recall out on this vehicle". Of course this information was never relayed to me at the beginning of my trip. At this point, my rental turned out to be $620 for five days. That's $124 per day for a low end minivan with 1/2 of an additional seat, recalled doors and busted mirrors. Turo, a local competitor had the Infinity Qx80 for $70 a day. Instead, I ended up hustled into a Toyota Sienna for $124 a day. To top this off, I had to deal with incompetent Hertz representatives from start to finish. I attempted to address the situation initially but the manager refused to resolve the mess his staff created. I will never use Hertz again and I will make sure that none one my friends, family and even clients ever use you guys.

I rented a vehicle from this National location 6/23 at 1pm. I drove it up to Fond du Lac Wisconsin…read morefor work, was there for two days and then tried driving back on 6/25 just after 11am. 20 minutes into my drive, while on the highway doing 70mph, the car lurched and then the dashboard lit up showing the vehicle was overheating. I popped the hood and come to find there is basically no oil in the brand new vehicle. They were unable to get a tow truck to me quickly stating it would be 2 hours from when they were first notified of this issue and given an address for the driver to meet me at. I then drove roughly 3-4 miles from where I was at to West Bend only to find that the Enterprise is no longer there, luckily the car salesman directed me to where the new spot was 1.5 miles down the road. Since this occurred, I have had no response from the branch on how to rectify this issue and ensure other customers are not put into a dangerous situation due to their gross negligence. This also caused me to miss several scheduled work meetings that I traveled to up from the Dallas area. Terrible service on the vehicles by them and even worse customer service after the incident occurred. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I've rented from this same location a number of times. Really hoping this is a one-off but customer experience at this location has been very touch and go. Corporate should evaluate the staff here and rehire accordingly

Bought a 2024 Audi A5 in June, 2026: Here's my experience:…read more POSITIVE Saw the car I wanted on their site and because the make, model and color would be snapped up ASAP, they grabbed it right away and it was transferred from another city/state within a week later. At my request, they held it for me for 5 days until I could get there from my home 90 miles away. The salesman was nice, personable, accommodating and answered all my questions. He should get a better job elsewhere. The car was in pristine condition - inside and out. They attached one license plate for me and gassed the car before I drove it off the lot. As I'd been renting a car from Enterprise, I was able to drop it off there (different location from the rental origin) without an extra charge. NEGATIVE They will push the warranty, even if it includes flirting shamelessly! It could be that I was in a hurry, but they should have attached the second plate. Now I've gotta pay someone to do it - I'm not handy. I was paying cash for the car which at first, I going to do via wire transfer. However, telling me it would take a day for their "corporate office to receive the wire transfer", they wanted me to do the wire the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick it up. While I was 95% sure I wanted the car, I'd only seen it online and I wasn't about to pay for it until I'd seen it in person and test drove it! It's 2026, folks and wire transfers are immediate! Don't test our BS meter. I paid by cashiers' check instead. Also, because I wanted to get miles on my credit card, I asked to put $10k of the $34k+ cost on it, but $5k is the most they'll let you put on a card (obviously, they want every opportunity to finance the cars they sell. One day soon, someone's going to challenge this in court and win). They wouldn't even let me put the warranty (which is a separate purchase) on my card. (the two points above are likely not under the salesman's control) Finally, and the most disappointing part of the experience: Once I bought the car, I immediately drove it to a mechanic I'd made an appointment with to have it checked out. They spent several hours inspecting it and told me that Internally, it was all good. BUT, while it was up on the lift, they saw it had been in an accident: the passenger door on the driver's side had been replaced and cheaply done with 'Bondo'. Sure enough, the paint doesn't exactly match. No accident was reported on the Carfax report. I called Enterprise Car Sales to discuss this with them and the dealership manager said: If it's not on the Carfax report, we don't have to tell you about it and we're not responsible for it. FYI: Don't trust a Carfax report.
