They will also cancel a reservation last minute because they refuse to work, even though Priceline has their vehicle rentals on sale because they have so many vehicles sitting around. They give the one customer they rarely get a hard time and charge them extra, just to not have to work because ripping off customers makes them money. Our Ford diesel had a coolant leak, and after diagnosing the problem he carefully inspected the rest of the engine and discovered two additional hoses that were also failing. He ordered the correct parts from the Ford dealership and the staff at Elite Auto & Fleet took care of the parts installation. What really stood out was the customer service. Kevin personally drove us back to the KOA RV Park after we dropped the truck off, and then picked us up when the repair was finished. That kind of service is rare these days. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about diesel engines, very personable, and clearly has his customers' best interests at heart. The price was very reasonable for diesel repair, and the work was completed quickly--we dropped the truck off Monday morning and were back on the road by about 10:00 AM Tuesday. I truly cannot say enough good things about the service we received. Absolutely no negatives. If you are in the Barstow area and need auto or diesel work, Elite Auto & Fleet is the place to go.

She had just had it serviced but I had a gut feeling and asked her to pull over. I took her to Mike's since it was right off the freeway. This place was amazing, and Cory was amazing. She had just had new tires installed and turns out something was wrong with the front one as a part had been installed in the wrong location and had become dislodged which was the sound we were hearing. He right away was able to take a look and found the problem and fixed it within a half hour. I came to these guys out of pure desperation, on a sunday being stranded in Barstow CA due to a faulty 02 sensor on a Chevy HHR. Oh you guys know who I am. When I arrived at the "shop" , nobody was there. After waiting for over 45 minutes in the scorching barstow heat for this "mechanic" to show up, I was greeted by 3 of the most unprofessional looking people i've ever seen step out of a silver car. He then proceeded to let me and my car into the yard. I heard a brief discussion between them two arguing over where a tool bag was and how one of them is never ready for anything, and against my better judgement I ignored the altercation. Afterwards an upwards of almost 4 hours of pure hell ensued. This mechanic has no idea what he's doing, no idea where any of his tools are and is extremely unprofessional and after spending 3 hours looking for various tools, and maybe an hour of actual working on the vehicle the mechanic finally pulls out the faulty 02 sensor and I compare the new part from the box and they are obviously not the same sensor. I point this out to both of the mechanics and they both urge me to just put it in the car and assure me it will work. The mechanic that actually turned the wrenches physically made eye contact with me and told me it WILL work. AFTER I TOLD HIM IT WASNT AN EXACT MATCH. Then he argued with me and proceeded to blame me for bringing in a part that didnt work and make it my fault, and wouldnt even put the old part back in my car so I could limp my way to somewhere else for real help. Eventually after arguing with him and ANOTHER FULL service charge I convinced him to put the old part back in my car just so I could get away from these absolute crooks and clowns. Meanwhile there is an old lady clearly on drugs pretending to sweep up rocks while obviously selling drugs to random people on foot walking into the yard. This place is CRAZY. CRAZY CRAZY. Like you expect a certain degree in barstow but this is just CRAZY. I CANT URGE YOU ENOUGH DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER. Its extremely obvious why they emphasize on being mobile mechanics so heavily... You'd never accept the help if you saw the "shop".
