I was nervous because I've had issues with Avis having available cars and just cancelling my reservation the day before even when a reservation is made a month in advance and they offer one way rentals. It can ruin your plans and cause so many issues and un-needed stress. It's not even they don't have available cars but don't want to give them for one way rentals , which I would say is terrible customer service when you offer the service. When I got to the Park Ridge location, I was greeted right away by Jolie and she quickly professed my reservation. She had no issues with availability and the car was identified and ready. It was nice and fuel efficient which was perfect for the 5 hour drive I had for the one way. I got the exact rental car type I wanted because I cared about fuel efficiency and not space since it was a long distance drive. We checked the car over together, and she told me about the automatic lights and also showed me where the lever is for the gas tank. Always helpful when each car is so different and it just saves hassle when you need to fill up. The gas tank was full and the car clean. Thank you Park Ridge Enterprise for making my journey stress-free.

Be careful of this location, they also do not check the cars before they rent them out. I found an open beer bottle in the back seat of my rental upon picking up the car. Really shady people working here who do not have your best interest in mind. I almost feel like they did it on purpose, crooked people at this location. Do your research, and choose elsewhere.

But for this trip, I had some long drives that would have been cost prohibitive with rideshare, so I bit the bullet. I was most happy with the check-in process. I was able to do most of it online, so the pick-up at airport was fast and easy. Most importantly, they didn't try to scare me into buying unnecessary insurance or TollPass transponders. The rep showed me how to pay my tolls by plate online, and never mentioned any extras. Thank you! I had selected the premium car category, and I had the choice between an Audi S5, Alfa Romeo Giulia, and Hyundai Genesis. I picked the Audi and it was clean, well equipped , and in good condition. Apple CarPlay worked great, which basically covers everything these days - maps, radio, bluetooth calling, etc. Drop off was just as fast, and the rental car area is a short tram ride away from the Terminals. Overall easy peasy and price was competitive. I'd rent from them again, which I can't say about most of my car rental experiences.

After that, I was contacted again about the same balance, saw another charge appear, and even received a letter saying I needed to pay or risk being banned from renting with Enterprise. Escalations then told me they could not see the charge and said I should dispute it with my bank. Very stressful and disappointing experience.

I rented a 13 year-old Acura with relatively low miles. The car was luxurious, drove very well and was in great condition. I was pleasantly surprised. Being a hybrid, mileage was great. The proprietor was very nice and friendly, too. I would certainly rent from EZ Rentals again if I need a rental.

I think that this is identity theft done by an employee of Hertz. How are they safe guarding and using my personal credit card information??
