However, when I last rented a car, the company (not Enterprise) called a couple days before my rental period to tell me they wouldn't have the minivan I had reserved. Since the car type was non-negotiable due to the number of folks who'd be in the car, I have been wary to use that other agency since. When I called Enterprise and asked if my car type would be guaranteed, they said it would be no problem and they kept their word. The car was in good condition, clean, and comfortable to drive and ride in. Pickup was easy and fast as well. As of June 2026, they put a deposit of $300 on your card for the rental. This location does the "enterprise picks you up" thing, and that is good within a two mile radius. I'll need to keep that in mind for next time.

I returned the car a day early, and ended up getting charged over $1,900. They lied and did not return any money and would not provide me with a receipt either. Be careful of this location, they also do not check the cars before they rent them out. I found an open beer bottle in the back seat of my rental upon picking up the car. Really shady people working here who do not have your best interest in mind. I almost feel like they did it on purpose, crooked people at this location. Do your research, and choose elsewhere.

We were even given an additional discount as the rates were much better for the July 4th weekend, and we had booked our trip 1 or 2 months ago when the rates were high. That was a great way to start a trip. Overall the vehicle was great and fun to drive especially being new it had the assisted driving (ADAS) which made the long drive relaxing. There was a small windshield crack (under an quarter of an inch barely visible), and while their policy only requires reporting damage over two inches from prior experiences, I made them note it on the record before I took the vehicle from the lot just to be on the safe side. The plan was to arrive in Chicago at O´Hare Airport and then proceed to an off-site parking lot to pick up the car. He said he would not charge me extra for leaving the vehicle near the airport. Well, thanks to a massive screw-up on the part of American Airlines, it took me 60 hours of horrific traveling to finally arrive in Chicago. During this nightmare I kept Jacek informed of my travel problems. When I finally arrived at 2 AM and picked up the spotlessly clean car, Jacek had arranged perfectly. When I arrived at my motel 2 hours later, I noticed that one of the headlights had burned out on the way. Jacek told me not a problem - to get it fixed, and he would take care of it. And he did. The rest of the trip was uneventful. I drove this rental for over 2 weeks in the Chicagoland area as well as the Northwoods of Wisconsin. When the day came to return the car, Jacek offered to pay for my Uber trip to the airport. I politely declined, as he had gone to great lengths at the beginning of my trip to make sure that the car would be waiting for me close to the airport. I am originally from the Chicago area, and return on a regular basis. Renting a car at O´Hare airport can be a nightmare. It was precisely because of car rental problems at O'Hare, that I decided to give Jacek and EZ Vehicle Rentals a try. I am so glad that I did, and both Jacek personally as well as EZ Vehicle Rentals deserve 5 stars for the very competitive pricing, vehicle quality, and magnificent personalized service.
