Enterprise is one of the more expensive rental shops, so they're not my first place for a car rental. However, when I last rented a car, the company (not Enterprise) called a couple days before my rental period to tell me they wouldn't have the minivan I had reserved. Since the car type was non-negotiable due to the number of folks who'd be in the car, I have been wary to use that other agency since. When I called Enterprise and asked if my car type would be guaranteed, they said it would be no problem and they kept their word. The car was in good condition, clean, and comfortable to drive and ride in. Pickup was easy and fast as well. As of June 2026, they put a deposit of $300 on your card for the rental. This location does the "enterprise picks you up" thing, and that is good within a two mile radius. I'll need to keep that in mind for next time. read more

Rented a car from this location, was a 1-week rental. Was supposed to be around $1,300, they charged me $1,600 up front, saying $300 was for incidentals and would be returned. I returned the car a day early, and ended up getting charged over $1,900. They lied and did not return any money and would not provide me with a receipt either. Be careful of this location, they also do not check the cars before they rent them out. I found an open beer bottle in the back seat of my rental upon picking up the car. Really shady people working here who do not have your best interest in mind. I almost feel like they did it on purpose, crooked people at this location. Had a one way rental reservation at the Park ridge location to go from Chicago to Cincinnati. Jolie at this location made the process smooth, quick, and easy. I was nervous because I've had issues with Avis having available cars and just cancelling my reservation the day before even when a reservation is made a month in advance and they offer one way rentals. It can ruin your plans and cause so many issues and un-needed stress. It's not even they don't have available cars but don't want to give them for one way rentals , which I would say is terrible customer service when you offer the service. When I got to the Park Ridge location, I was greeted right away by Jolie and she quickly professed my reservation. She had no issues with availability and the car was identified and ready. It was nice and fuel efficient which was perfect for the 5 hour drive I had for the one way. I got the exact rental car type I wanted because I cared about fuel efficiency and not space since it was a long distance drive. We checked the car over together, and she told me about the automatic lights and also showed me where the lever is for the gas tank. Always helpful when each car is so different and it just saves hassle when you need to fill up. The gas tank was full and the car clean. I rented a car through insurance. when I first picked up the car, I was told that this car is comparable to my SUV that's in the shop. it wasn't explained clearly to me that my insurance only paid for an intermediate car. I switched out the SUV because it smelled really bad. it was busy day for them and they gave me a standard car ..never explained that it's not the contracted car allowed with ALLSTATE. ALLSTATE didn't reimburse the entire amount because they only paid for the contracted price. I called and I was told that 'we clearly explained it to you that ALLSTATE MAY NOT reimbursed the whole thing.' ....of course I didn't record the conversation to prove to them that they didn't not say "allstate only allows intermediate car." That being said, lesson learned....if you rent through Insurance...make sure you know exactly what is allowed. Don't assume that enterprise will know and give you the contracted car. In any case, they may give you a different car so that they get more money. Also, there's a huge knowledge difference among the employees. I asked for a receipt when I returned the car...was rejected, was told to get Allstate to pay the full amount before getting a receipt. I callEd allstate just to have them told me that they will not pay. It's my responsibility to get the receipt and submit to them. I called enterprise, paid, and asked for an electronic receipt which they promised will send. Did not happen. enterprise called and said that I needed to drive to their location to pick up my receipt. Apparently they cannot send electronic receipts....its the first rental company that told me that they cannot send electronic receipt and made a customer drive to pick it up. I was given a car that was a 3 row vehicle clearly larger than mine. I was not given the reason why. My insurance company was paying $25 a day. I figured they had no other vehicles. Well I as changed $58 a day and I had to eat the difference after the fact when I checked my credit card. They claim they told me...ha ha. I would of never agreed to that. read more

Called about an unexpected charge and was told per the text we sent you. Mind you, the text I recieved said nothing about a charge. What a crappy company seriously they're stealing money from me again. They're running a scam where they tell their consumer that there was tolls charged and now of course they're going to add a surcharge to this. Even though I've spoken to the Illinois tollway, and they have assured me that the plate was under jurisdiction of my Transponder, which I called in the day, I took the van out of the lot and even extended it two or three days past. And now this crappy company who is never gonna get my business again is trying to tell me that they're going to do it again they are not furnishing the citation from the tollway intentionally because they are malicious company and I would not rent from this car company or Truck company ever if I were you. BEWARE of this location poor service. I was involved in a car accident which was the other driver's fault. in which his insurance took full responsibility. I went to pick up the rental and they charged my debit card over $1000 when they were supposed to only charge $50 dollars. took 3 days to get my money back and then a week later after insurance told the they were paying for 25days they charged my card another $330 and told me that my husband didn't respond to their calls. the insurance called and told them they were paying for the 25 days. I called back and they said they spoke with the insurance but it wasn't in their system so they couldn't refund me. Honestly great experience! I just walked in without a reservation on a busy day, but an employee was able to put me in a rental within minutes and work with me on a price! The car was brand new, clean and shiny, top trim and really delightful! When during the time of my rental I looked my keys inside the vehicle I called enterprise and roadside assistance showed up 15 minutes later, unbelievable efficiency! And when I returned the vehicle early the price was adjusted accordingly - no fees or charges on top, return process took 2 minutes! read more

Both staff members were on top of their game . The will pick you up at your location and also drop you off once you return the car . If they do not have the car at their location they will drive you too another enterprise location in order for you to pick the car up . The car we rented was a 2024 with low mileage and very clean on the inside and outside. This is a great place to look at if you want to rent a car read more

This Enterprise office is not a full service car rental facility, but can get you a car quickly if you live in the area and don't want to go to O'Hare. It is located at the awkward intersection of Busse and Oakton in Park Ridge. You can only really enter through the south side of the shop, so you may need to loop around. There is a small parking lot and it is tricky to find parking in the winter since snow banks populate multiple spots. The actual office is pretty small and they have a little garage to vacuum out cars. Don't expect a fully gassed up vehicle - the three times we have rented there it was always less than a full tank. They can get your in and out pretty quickly. One drawback is there is a very limited selection since this isn't a major pickup facility. My wife lucked out on her last rental and got a Suburban (she had a similar vehicle in the shop for insurance repairs). The staff has been a little unprofessional in our dealings here. They have a sort of indifferent attitude, but I assume that is because there is little oversight at this location. I will use this place again if needed, but most of my rentals are through Hertz. read more

I came to this location because it's literally a few blocks from my parent's house. However as many rental establishments I've used, I have to say these guys are without a doubt the most efficient and reliable. Excellent customer service and they listen to issues that arise. One issue I had was with the quality of one of their compact cars. I felt like it was going to break down on me as I driving. I mentioned it and they upgraded me the next time. Recently I wanted to rent a truck for the day and had to go to their other location to get it. It was a bit of an inconvenience but in the end they made it right. Given the frequency with which I rent cars from them, two incidents are nothing. I really appreciate this team here in Park Ridge and would go to them again for how well they take care of customers and for their level of consistency. Still not too sure about Enterprise? Totally awful experience with this location. When car was picked up it was filthy with dog hair and stench and was advised that we would not be charged for that. The next day we went to another location to add additional drivers on the car and was advised we can drop it off at the airport a day earlier on a Sunday with no drop off fees. (We were trying get back to CA before hurricane hit). Now they sent us a bill that included the drop off fee. We spoke to Harper at the location today about this and he rudely told us that there is nothing he can do about it because there is no way we could be told that. He proceeded to say nothing can be done because it says there will be a drop off fee. Mind you this was said with no politeness whatsoever. Then he says he's a manager if that location and that nothing can be done though he will check with the location that advised us. Kept saying that there was no way we were told that. So I'm asking him if he's insinuating that I am a liar. I did have to tell him to change his tone so evidently it was not a good conversation. Not a very good experience and ended up not renting from them. First directed to the reservation line where the lady did not seem to have any compassion and didn't seem to listen to what I was saying. I told her I needed the pickup service because my truck was just towed in for service and didn't have a ride, but didn't help me with that because I don't think she was listening and told me I could pick the vehicle up at a certain time. After telling her again, she directed me to contact the location store for it. So I'm thinking to myself, why did I even talk to you?? After contacting the store and setting up a pick up time, I was contacted by someone else from the store some time later and about 5mins from when I was supposed to be picked up who told me they couldn't provide me with a pickup or a car because there was another location closer to me and I would have to go through them . After explaining my frustration, my situation on why I needed them there due to having to get my kids to things, I had no way to get to the other location, I was simply told sorry the other person who helped me didn't know they couldn't come to my location. There was no compassion for my situation I was in, nothing for their mistake and honestly didn't even try to help fixing it or anything. Felt like we'll you're not renting from us so tuff luck. The staff is so friendly and i have rented the car at this location more than 15 times and each time i get good service and get a nice car which i have reserved. Even i staff picks me from my home to get my car picked and also give me ride back to my home. They have a wide range of cars and all of them are well maintained and the rates are also resonable. When I arrived at the site to pick up my car, Brian (manager) claimed to not have any cars aside from an expensive SUV and a minivan for additional 30 bucks per day. Since they didn't have a car in the size I wanted (even though i had a confirmation in my hand), he refused to provide an upgrade unless I paid extra money per day. Management - - - Brian was extremely unprofessional & rude; felt as I was dealing with a college kid. He was pressuring me to rent a higher price vehicle even though I could see couple of full-size sedans sitting in the parking lot. Brian also told me to take my business somewhere else & 'not welcome here anymore' after I indicated that I will inform the Yelp users about his SCAM. Guess what Brian?? I did. I took my business to Ohare airport & got a FREE upgrade which you refuse to grant me as a customer courtesy. I truly hope other customers don't fall for your SCAM. Dont give into their pressure. I wish I had taken the time to make note of the employees' names with whom I interacted --- one was very good (young male), the manager (young woman with dark hair) terrible. I made my displeasure known, but she made absolutely zero effort to address my complaints, acknowledge their mistakes, or apologize. Very unprofessional, poor customer service. I rented the car for the specific purpose of making certain that I would have reliable, clean transportation to make it to an important professional talk. When I arrived for my car pick up (early), my car was not ready, they would not allow me to park on premises, they gave me INCORRECT and flippant instructions on where I *could* find parking, and ultimately caused me to arrive inexcusably late to the very professional meeting for which I rented the car to be sure to arrive at promptly. I missed the entire talk. I pointed out to the manager that she sent me to park in an area where there was no public parking, leading me to circle the neighborhood in search of somewhere legal ---- she just rolled her eyes and said "well, I don't live here." You WORK here. You are the manager of the business. You should absolutely know where to direct your customers who are attempting to patronize your business. Even with the wasted time circling the neighborhood, when I returned to the office, my vehicle was STILL not cleaned and ready. I told them to just give it to me dirty, as I was already inexcusably late as it was. I left the facility some 45 minutes after my scheduled pick-up time. Have rented here before when our car was being serviced but rented a mini-van for a long-weekend car trip, this time. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Brian clearly understood he was competing with airport rental agencies and went the extra mile to get me the vehicle I wanted, when I wanted it and I was able to take advantage of AAA discount. Awful customer service! I was sent here by my body shop guy after my car was hit parked on the street. State Farm was covering my claim. When I got there they had only one car, and Nicole was quick to rush me into it. The car was dirty inside with stained seats but it was my only option. I was sitting in the parking lot going over the paperwork with her, and she asked me to agree to their insurance for the car which I DECLINED 3 times, until she told me it was $16 a day and would be covered in my claim. I finally agreed to it because she told me there was not going to be any charges to me, and it protected her car while State Farm protected me. I got a call today from Nick saying they are charging my card $241 for this insurance that I didn't even want to begin with, but had forced down my throat. Nick said Nicole would call me after lunch, and when she did, and was nothing but rude and unpleasant. When I reminded her I DECLINED her insurance 3 times as she kept forcing it on me, her response was that is what we are told to do. Then she tells me she will take off 3 days of the charge, which was another lie, as I just got my emailed bill showing no deductions what-so-ever. I have been in customer service industries for over 15 years and I would never extort anyone with blatant lies and overall up-selling techniques. Shame on you Nicole. Very bad business. After talking to the owner of the body shop he said Enterprise has done this to other customers of his as well. No thanks. Aside from company policies being unreasonable, this particular location has a habit of renting cars for which they've not bothered filling the tank. Once, they actually gave one to me with less than a quarter tank of gas saying "dont worry, just return it empty." I pity the person who had it next.
