    Our family of three plus two friends flew in from California to Chicago to attend our son's college graduation. At Enterprise ORD, we were received by a young man named Austin who was friendly and efficient. He walked us to our minivan and asked if I was OK with it. It was basically a brand new vehicle with less than 3K miles, all leather seats with all the amenities, so it met expectations. The minivan was the perfect transport vehicle for our needs, and very comfortable. Upon return, the process couldn't have been easier. Overall, the rental process simple and smooth, and I would happily rent Enterprise again.

    My experience at the Enterprise O'Hare location was a positive one! I booked online and did my check in online so I wouldn't have to wait at the counter. The staff member who checked us in was very helpful. He walked us to the car, showed us some of the features, and patiently answered my questions! 10/10 customer service.

    My friend and I rented a car from this location from this past Thursday to this past Saturday. The experience was great. The car selection for a Thursday morning was excellent. The car handled well and the agents did a great job. Drew, one of the agents, aided my friend in getting Waze working on the car. Return was smooth and Drew was there again. He's a great agent. Only items I would change is there needs to be more folks working the counter on a Thursday morning and there could have been a small trash can in the car return lot just to throw items out. The line was a little long for a Thursday morning b/c only one person was at the counter to start, but more folks got in.

    Hats off to the Enterprise team at O'Hare Airport! Our need for a rental car was tied to a devastating family event, with stress compounded by the loss of a wallet. The folks at the Lost & Found were helpful. We were not hopeful. Boom! Wallet left in the car returned to us in days -- with $400 cash still in it. See, there are good people out there! That's just the beginning. I failed to mention our actual experience: Upon entering the lot to pick up a car, employees made eye contact to welcome us. The lot is a large, cavernous area so you don't have your bearings about where to go, where it's safe to stand, and Enterprise people took care of us, leading us through the process and to our car. This was in stark contrast to a car rental experience at a competitor the week prior. At the competitor, we were not greeted. Instead, an employee -- standing 25 feet from us -- waved his arms at us and pointed to a running vehicle. When I started to walk toward him, he waved me off, "No! That car! That car!" So we got into a car, not really sure it was for us. We couldn't figure out how to make it go. Electric vehicle had no running motor sound (we didn't know it was an EV). After 10 minutes of trying to get the car in gear, we got out and had to search for help. This competitor failed at everything Enterprise did well.

    Tyra was AWESOME and Beautiful . There's nothing like going to a place where you are greeted by a beautiful face with a warm, genuine smile. Thank you Tyra for making my check out so effortless and easy. She was happy to get a BMW return at their hub. The BMW drove so smoothly, it was a great vehicle. I'm always so impressed by the teamwork at almost every Enterprise rental place. Thank you guys for the long years and the great service.

    These idiots don't deserve a single star. "skip the line" their marketing says but the Thrifty Blue Chip Rewards is a TOTAL SCAM. They steal your data then tell you to go back to the end of the line, lying assholes.

    My confirmation number for my reservation was 1890871859…read more I had a reservation with Enterprise that promised me a car when I arrived to the Chicago location. I booked the reservation on the Enterprise website and it allowed me to make the reservation for 5:00pm. When I landed in Chicago with all of my luggage I took a taxi to the Enterprise location that was away from the airport location. The location was closed. What I don't understand how the company would allow me to make a reservation for a time that they knew very well that they were going to be closed for. So I was forced to rent a car with another company for the night for much more money due to super late notice. Then I drove back an hour to the location to return my current rental car and pick up the enterprise car that I had my reservation for. I returned my temporary rental car I had for the night and then proceeded with a taxi to the enterprise location just to find that they told me that they didn't have a car for me. I was left going with another rental company for a second time and having to wait 3 hours before I could get a car. I spent $875 for my rental car for 5 days all because Enterprise decided to not honor the reservation that they gave me. If there is one question I have it is WHY WOULD ENTERPRISE GIVE ME A RESERVATION WHEN THEY DONT RESERVE ANYTHING FOR ME?! I am all the way across the country from my home and stuck stranded in Chicago without any transportation because enterprise decided to LIE to me about giving me a reservation. Yes that is called LYING. If that isn't lying then IDK what is. My experience with Enterprise was horrendous. I wouldn't recommend using them to anyone. Stay away from this company. If Enterprise wants to contact me and make this situation right then I would have open ears to hear what they have to offer. Otherwise I will never use their company again and will not recommend anyone else does either.

Why are the ratings so low!!?!?!?…read more We booked our Budget rental through Costco Travel bc nothing says "vacation mode" like using your bulk-membership powers to score a great car deal!! The process was smoother than a Costco rotisserie chicken!! At O'Hare, Linda at the Budget counter greeted us like a car-rental fairy... only to announce that our reserved vehicle was not available. But no worries.... she upgraded us to a choice between a Jeep, Hyundai, or Mazda, at no additional cost. We picked the Mazda CX-50, a ride so smooth it felt like it was gliding over buttered pavement!! After paying, Linda sent us on a small adventure to take the escalator to the 2nd floor, go through the parking garage, and find our chariot w the keys already inside. We also rented a hotspot (just in case we were in an area with no phone signal) which we didn't actually need bc apparently Chicago has better signal than a Verizon tower. Over 3.5 days, we drove w five people all around North Chicago, only spending $30 on gas , which in 2025 feels like a miracle!!! Return was a breeze: signs, attendants, and no drama. In short: great car, great price, and Linda deserves a raise!! *Pro tip: Get the pre pay for the tolls!! You are in uncharted waters (if you're not from this area) and trust, there are lots of different freeways and toll roads in this area!!! You have been warned!!!

Then the fave me a car with NO fuel. Yep, no fuel. While on a country road I looked fine to see no fuel. Who rents you a car with No fuel. Luckily I had just passed a fuel station, turned around, got fuel. Now turning it back in with only a portion of my fuel used. They are getting it back full compared to how I rented it. Lulu from Budget advised if I get it empty bring it back empty. But that can't happen because I didn't use it much. This is the second issue I've had with Budget. They are the same company as AVIS . Same owners. So why ????

Her entire staff was disrespectful to every single customer. She made my children cry and left elderly handicapped people and small children stranded in an airport and told them she didn't care. Spoke down to them and belittled them. I hope she is never allowed to treat people this way again and something is done about her and her employees callus attitude. after reading more reviews it seems this is an on going issue and Sixt has allowed this disgusting behavior from their employees. Stop all the extra fees and renting people a car but when they get to the rental station up sale them and charge more money. Rental cars in Sixt is a scam! Horrible customer service.
