Also I carry a 100/300/50 insurance coverage through St Farm. What you sell at your counter is not insurance. You can't sell insurance. You need to be a certified insurance agent. And nobody in your office is. You sell optional coverage. Illinois law states you cannot refuse a rental because they can't prove they have insurance. Car rental companies must provide a 50/100/50 secondary liability coverage. You have a program through Ford and Mercedes. Every vehicle owner in the world has that. If I breakdown in your vehicle in another state, you will tell me tow it to the dealer. While we are waiting for parts, I have no vehicle. My $7,000.00 vacation ruined. Now with Major car rental companies in all states, they would get me another vehicle. Wow! Recliners! 60 inch TV! Refreshments! That's because you vehicles aren't ready when customers with reservations show up. So you provide that while they wait. I prefer in and out when picking up rental. Not hanging.

Enterprise said they would send someone for us but left us waiting on the side of the road for FOUR hours without ever sending anyone. We eventually had a friend who was able to come pick us up and take us to our destination, but this ruined both our friend's and our vacation day. Enterprise agreed to send a car to our Airbnb, during this time but when we called back a few hours later they denied that promise. They tried to get us to DRIVE three hours to an airport to pick one up! But we had no car! The next morning, then they sent us an hour an a half to another airport to pick up a car, which we had to get a friend to drive me to, but then they HADN'T CALLED the airport and the airport had no cars for us! Our whole weekend away was basically up at this point, and they finally agreed to call us a Lyft to get us back home from my trip. But, they would only pay for HALF of the Lyft costs! Despite them being the reason we were stranded in the first place! This whole experience was frustrating and consumed our entire weekend away. They were consistently unhelpful, making us run in circles to fix the problem they created. Now we are down the cost of the Lyft and our friend had to drive several extra hours and put extra miles on his car to help us through this situation. This is unacceptable, and no business should treat customers this way. I will NEVER be using an Enterprise ever again.

I've never had a bad experience. There's never a long wait when we check in and we have always found the service here (both in person and over the phone) to be exceptional. The cars we rent have always been clean inside and out. Staff always goes through a point inspection with us prior to handing over the keys. The prices are reasonable and occasionally they do promotions on their car rentals. If we ever need a car from Budget, we can always count on them to come through for us.
