We had a great experience with Buel's Greenscapes! They helped us plant 10 trees in the corner of our yard to add some privacy, and the whole process went super smoothly. Keenan came out a couple weeks before and took time to understand what we were trying to accomplish. They showed up on time, worked quickly but carefully, and made sure everything was tidy before they wrapped up. I've always had excellent service from Buel's. Keenan is great and not only provides good customer service, but also trains the landscapers well. Every Monday they arrive on time and are very respectful of my property, are kind and leave my yard looking so tidy & lovely. I recently had Buel's clean my gutters. Great job! We have used 2 other companies in the past, but recently switched to Buel's and are extremely happy with their service.

Emailed them to set up a time for a quote for yard clean up and landscape projects. Got an email back from Keenan to just call him. We played phone tag for a couple days and my last call included a detailed voicemail again stating what we were looking for. Finally connected with Keenan on the phone and he may have not been having a good day (in that case you don't call a prospective new customer if you know you aren't in a good space). Joked a bit that we finally connected and got no response from him. Explained now for a 3rd time what we are looking for and the response was "we just do yard clean up I don't think we can help you". No, we can do the yard clean up and can suggest another company for the other work. No, alternative options just a basic we don't want your business response have a nice day and hung up. If he would have read my email or listened to my detailed voicemail this could have been addressed much sooner. Not impressed with the severe lack of customer service and not a company I will recommend to anyone. *****Update***** Generic but friendly response on Yelp of course just not on the phone. They regret they do not offer the services I was looking for. So you DON'T do yard clean up? because that was in my email and voicemail and the 1st thing I said on the phone. Buel's crew has changed how we feel about living in a large, forested property. BB (before Buel's), it was lovely but impossible to keep tidy. We had to accept that we couldn't do it all so lived with beauty but messiness. Having seen mow and blow crews, I was not interested. I've seen soil blown so hard that all the valuable duff and compost was gone. I realized we did need help though and asked a neighbor if she knew of any good crews. She recommended Buel's. At my age, I can do pruning but hauling away the debris is hard on my back. I was sold when Keenan said they would take care of all the piles I produced. Now they are simply indispensable. We no longer have to worry about anything outside. If a pot is too heavy to move, they help us. The enormous quantity of leaves from living in a big-leaf maple woods, all taken care of with sensitivity to the environment. Long drive-way blown clean. Hedge professionally trimmed and clippings removed. Weeds in the paths sprayed with citrus-based product. As soon as they arrive, they ask what needs to be done this week. And they take care of it. We no longer need to take chances with chores that are risky at our age because we know the very nice men from Buel's will help us. In other words, they have been life-changers. read more

The crew actually did very good work. We only stopped service because our landscape was whiped out in the ice storm. One we got everything restored we tried to start service up again but could never get Keenan to return my emails. Very disappointed but this was not the first time I had trouble getting communication back from the owner. read more

Over the years Buel's has cleaned up leaves, mowed my lawn, helped create and clean flower beds in my yard and given me many recommendations on keeping my yard looking good year round. In my work as a realtor I have also hired them many times to help clean up to prep clients' houses for sale. Even in vacant houses where the landscaping has been ignored for years they are able to make it presentable and marketable. They are always on time and haul away any mess they make. Love these guys! It is so nice to come across a family run business that works hard, responds to questions and direction, and charges a fair rate for their service. These guys will take care of your landscaping needs and set you up with a weekly (summer) and biweekly (winter) maintenance schedule that will keep your yard and landscaping in tip-top shape. If you're already paying several hundred dollars for a fall cleanup, it makes sense to hire someone year round that will keep your yard free of debris each week so you won't need the expensive cleanup. They have fulfilled several extra landscaping projects for us. One such project, tree planting, was located on a precarious hill behind our house. They do great work and I recommend them every chance I get. read more

I wouldn't use this company again. Keenan came to my house mid June and gave me an estimate of $380-$450 for weedeating, spraying, and fixing an area where we had a tree removed the previous year. He said he might need to bring some dirt in to fill in the hole.He said he was about 2 weeks out. 3 1/2 weeks went by and I never heard from him. I called and left a message and he did call back and had a crew out a few days later. When the guys showed up they said that Keenan hadn't mentioned anything about bringing dirt in or fixing the hole so they didn't bring any shovels. Once they finished the weed eating and spraying they called the boss to see what he wanted them to do about repairing the hole, his reply was "tell her to call me". He said he didn't remember saying anything about bringing dirt in and that it really wasn't the sort of thing he was interested in doing. I learned long ago to to ask people to do a job they don't want because the end up over charging you. I asked the guys to trim some trees back from the house and they did a pathetic job of swinging a hedge trimmer overhead and I still need to hire someone to doit again. The real pisser is he sent me a bill for $500.00. If you choose to go with this company, be sure to get your estimate in writing, otherwise you'll get screwed. Know that he has over booked himself and doesn't have time for residential jobs so it is likely he will forget about you. read more

The owner is rude every time they come to blow clean my car is left with dirt and crud all over it. When I approached him to ask him not to blow around my car he was sarcastic and rude. Also they leave holes in our grass and some days do a half assed job. If I could give no stars I would. read more

I have been using Buel's for about 12 years and am very happy with their services. I have had full service from them for my lawn, garden and bushes. We can set landscaping goals and accomplish them over the years. I can communicate in english to each of his workers and get full understanding. Their prices are very fair and they show up on a regular schedule. They practice recycling the lawn debris and Keen has a degree in horticulture. With his knowledge he is able to trim my seedless grapes to produce wonderful fruit each year. His workers are friendly and courteous. Give them a try you will be happy you did. read more
