    This review is for the service department. Took my vehicle in for wheel alignment . Everything went well until I got home and took a closer look at the computerized wheel alignment report. Right front caster is out of limits by 1 degree and in red. Granted is out by very little but the fact that they just let it go tells me the degree of workmanship at Buena Park Honda. It would have taken very little time to do the adjustment but it's close enough, I guess. Now I'm I going to take it back and loose another 3 hours of my time, probably not. Would I trust them with more technical and complicated jobs, NO!

    Honda Buena Park does not care about customer service or basic human decency.

    My husband and I had been without a second car for a week so we needed to buy a car immediately. Unfortunately during our car search we discovered that we were also in the middle of a family tragedy, we were experiencing the loss of my unborn neice. We were honest about our situation and how important time and communication was for us. Our sales rep, Channy, was the only person who treated us with compassion. She listened, didn't pressure us, and genuinely cared. She was wonderful. Everything fell apart when we met with finance rep Lorenzo. He assured us that if we decided to choose our credit union's warranty instead of the dealerships, within a couple of days, he would redo the contract and not process our original check. We trusted him. We returned the very next day. Instead of a quick process, my husband was left sitting for almost an hour while Lorenzo ignored him. Only when my husband stood up and asked what was going on did anything move and suddenly he was out the door in minutes. We were treated like our time and our pain didn't matter. Then it got worse. Despite being told the original check would not be used, this dealership negotiated BOTH the original check and the cashier's check leaving us with two loans for the same car. They specifically stated they had the check when my husband returned for the new contract. They lied. We contacted Channy immediately, and she escalated it right away. But no one from leadership reached out. No urgency. No compassion. Hours later, after i reached out again, we finally got a call from Peter, who was cold, unhelpful, and clearly had no idea what to do. I submitted a request through Honda's website to speak with Francisco Razo, the general manager, and only received an automated email from Emma Day. Multiple follow-ups still no real response. We were grieving the loss a beautiful baby girl. This dealership added stress, confusion, and complete indifference on top of our pain. The lack of empathy and accountability here is unbelievable. If this is the level of customer service you're willing to accept, this is the place for you. But for us, the way we were treated especially during one of the darkest moments of our lives was inexcusable. The poor service at this location starts at the top and trickles down through every department... except for Channy. She was the only person who showed us the humanity we needed.

    Used Honda Civic

    I purchased a used 2021 Honda Civic from these folks, and I'm very happy with my experience. I called about the car a week prior, and Paul was happy to answer all my questions about it. The day of, I showed up and I was promptly helped out by sales associate Freddy. They were happy to negotiate to a fair price, and I didn't feel they were trying to swindle me in any way. In the price breakdown, they were clear about what was optional, and there were no unnecessary add-ons. Likewise, I didn't feel like they pressured me into buying their warranties or extra services in the finance office. Buying a car is stressful, but the folks here made it streamlined and simple. I would be happy to come back here for my next vehicle purchase. Thank you for helping me buy my first car!

    I have been trying to get a hold of someone for the last couple of days! I've left a voicemail for finance called the front desk over and over to the point she only answered once and decided to just forward my calls to finance without answering! For only one simple question that I need answered! I had purchased a Honda here with a horrible sales agent and on top of it got ripped off for that Honda and spent more than 5 hrs at the dealership that day! I now own a new vehicle with lower payments at another dealership! It's horrible how no one can return one simple phone call!!!

    We just purchased our new/used car from this dealership and want give a chef's kiss to this dealership...Jose our sales guy, Letty my first contact via phone, Matt, Lorenzo. The aforementioned Team epitomizes the slogan of Helpful Honda guy(s). In addition, everyone employee on site was sooo friendly and pleasant...everyone saying Hi and asked if we needed help. Now the car, we were able to agree on a price over the phone and when we arrived there were no shenanigans and everything was straight forward...I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience ever. I will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know looking to purchase a Honda. Than you again BP Honda...U guys truly are The Helpful Honda folks! Cheers.

    The customer service from service center is excellent in particular Omar . Always professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I always take my Hondas here for service for many years . The only thing I've noticed lately is the waiting area needs some TLC . The faux leather chairs are a bit gross in appearance ( see photo ) wouldn't cost much to replace . You don't even want to sit in them

    Emmanuel the best salesman to work with I was able to close the deal in 2 hours had to leave and come back in the night to sign paperwork not one call or message bugging me to buy like other dealers I've gone to. I liked that he was honest straightforward and overall a good person got me approved and a good deal at only 19 years old. If you ever in need of a car ask for Emmanuel from Sonic Buena Park Honda better than other Honda dealers I've worked with.

    I do not recommend this place. I scheduled an appointment for a used 2017 Honda on Thursday, August 13, and everything seemed to be going well. Leilani was the one contacting me for follow-up regarding the vehicle I was interested in. Today, Saturday, August 15, a very busy day at work, I arranged to leave early so I could go to Buena Park Honda to make my purchase. When I arrived, one of the sales representatives helped me, took my information, and shortly after came back to tell me that the car had already been sold. I expressed how upset I was with this news and explained that I had scheduled my appointment through their website specifically for that car. The salesperson then told me that the vehicle goes to whoever arrives first. I explained that this was never communicated to me when Leilani called me. I asked to speak with the manager, but no one ever came. Be very careful if you are thinking of buying from this dealership. I do NOT recommend it.

They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.

    I recently had a great experience with Action Auto and wanted to share…read more My Honda CR-Z driver-side door handle mechanism stopped working (apparently a common issue with these cars). I had already purchased an OEM replacement handle from an authorized Honda parts dealer, and initially planned to have the dealership install it. However, the dealership quoted me a very high labor cost and required me to leave my car overnight due to their busy schedule. After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Most importantly, my door handle works perfectly now--just like when I first bought the car. I'll definitely be coming back to Action Auto for future repairs. After that repair, my check engine light suddenly came on--even though it wasn't on before. The first shop told me it was a problem with the mass air flow sensor and tried to charge me to fix it, which didn't feel right to me. So I decided to come here for a second opinion, and I'm really glad I did. The mechanic took the time to properly diagnose the issue and walked me through everything step by step. Within about an hour, he figured out that it wasn't the air flow sensor at all--it was just a blown fuse. That alone saved me a lot of money and potentially from being overcharged elsewhere. What really stood out was the honesty and communication. He explained clearly what went wrong, didn't try to upsell anything, and made sure I understood the situation. On top of that, he even aired up my tires for free, which was a nice touch. Fast, honest, and affordable service like this is hard to find.
