    Went in for a oil change and they told me that the coolant was low and on the receipt it says that all fluids were topped off but when i come to open the hood the fluids are all low and there is oil spilled all over the cover

    I had a great experience with Axel L. For purchasing my first car. After all the test drives I did this weekend I kept thinking of his customer service and support throughout the process.     Car dealerships and service centers are necessary evils. They both want to make as much money as they can off of the customers, but sometimes you need them. In the past when i've bought a new or certified used car, I got most of the servicing done by the dealer's service center. That ended yesterday for me. I bought a "new" car from this dealership a couple of months ago. It was a car that was on the lot for a few months and was deeply discounted. I love the car. The only thing bad about it was the "premium" sound system which was awful. I had it upgraded by professionals and it sounds great now. It appears that the sound people erred when they put one of the door panels back with the door cable. I did not know that was the problem when I came to the dealer's service center to have the door fixed. What I learned about this service center from this experience is far more valuable than the $230 they charged me to re-route a cable. Based on what was wrong, keeping the car for 8 hours made no sense. It made even less sense when the service advisor told me it wouldn't be done until Monday afternoon. The thing is the car was already repaired, which was clear when I told the advisor I didn't know if i'd make it before they closed on monday, due to work. Then the car was done and could be picked up immediately. I figured it out when I looked at the papers they had me sign, but did not give me a copy of. These internal documents were notes of them removing each door panel and parts of the dashboard and trunk to look at the speakers that had been upgraded. Each of them was carefully documented. So they spent hours taking parts of my car apart and documenting it so they could deny me warranty service for the cable re-route yesterday, and I suspect the future. They clearly did this and lied about it. The service advisor asked me whether any work has been done involving the door panel and I told him the truth that the speakers had been upgraded. But they already knew that, as was clear from the reports they accidentally let me see. He lied to me. This place cannot be trusted. I'll never be back. I paid $230 to have a cable re-routed that probably took 10 minutes. I also paid for them to take my car apart. I suspect they wanted it another day to more fully go through the entire car so they could try and deny me more warranty coverage in the future. Well done. You saved a few dollars and lost a customer for life.

    It was great working with this dealership to find my new car. I had to find a reliable vehicle for travel once finding out that my current vehicle needed too much in servicing. Not being in the market for a car for the past 10 years, it was a lot to look at a car purchase. Going over to Nissan I would not have thought I would of been now driving their Rouge. Angel made the car buying experience awesome! He was low pressure and fun to say the least, he gave guidance and patience in the purchase process. Very personable and honestly, does not come off sales-like, just wants to do good for his clients. The behind the scenes, finance process was so great too with being very explanatory and giving answers to all questions. I told Erik I would give a great review because honestly, what I was dreading in filling out all the papers he made it to be a very simple and not stressful process. The team is awesome and just glad to now have a car that I LOVE!!! Thanks for making it a great experience to this dealership

    Hi Josh, I called Angelica yesterday, per your recommendation. Since she did not answer I left her a voicemail, but have not yet heard back from her. Instead, later yesterday afternoon, my son, the co-buyer on the purchase received a voicemail from Leo in Finance. Leo indicated that the 5.99% finance rate now needs to be increased to 8.81%. This is completely unethical. I am fortunate to know the Fleet Manager at Cabe Toyota, who informed me of buyers' rights, and other legalities. I am aware that I am not obligated to sign the revised rate. I have added a photo that summarizes those rights. I sent Leo a detailed email yesterday afternoon, on how Nissan Cerritos can make this right. I will gladly forward that email to Angelica and you to help rectify this most unfortunate situation. Please have Angelica reach out to me. She has my callback number. Thank you.

    Turns off the lights and TV completely at customer lounge each day after 4:00 PM, despite not closed. It is illegal to turn off lights.

    Buyer BEWARE, racial discrimination ALERT. Stay away... Treats and targets every non-white customer as a CRIMINAL if you decide to sit in one of the chairs all alone in the dark, which all customers are required to do while waiting for oil change service. I went to have a seat at the end where the #1 frame is posted, and the general or sales manager immediately stalked and followed me because I'm not a white person at all, or he thinks I am here to rob something. He stayed here and stared at me in one spot for over 10 minutes until I leave, while texting on his phone trying to call security. This dealer always turns off all the lights and TVs each day after 4:00 PM, because fewer people are buying Nissan vehicles these days. By law, it is ILLEGAL for any business to turn off the lights completely during opening business hours, until after 9:00 PM each day. Just because nobody is buying new Nissan vehicles anymore does not give the dealer the right to turn off the lights and TVs early each day at the customer lounge area. A non-white customer can easily be targeted, disrespectfully, as a criminal, robber, or vandalizer instantly, leaving you with fear and trauma injury permanently. This situation can easily be avoided if the lights are still on, or it's at a Toyota or Honda dealer instead with people everywhere where the lights are never turned off until after 9:00 PM. Please also stop charging the illegal dealer-installed accessories too. Cerritos Nissan now charges higher and uncompetitive prices with zero dealer discount than other Nissan dealers nearby, so they've decided to turn off the lights illegally due to lack of customers.

    UNPROFESSIONAL DEALERSHIP!! Locked the deal in via phone. I told Martha I need a couple hrs to leave work and go get cashier checks from the bank and then drive from Irvine to Cerritos. She said okay, I'll get it washed and ready for you. You can even see her txt to include total I need to get in cashier checks and address. She NEVER mentioned that if I need to lock the deal I need to sign anything online. I called after getting the cashier checks to tell her I am in route and she said "oh sorry I meant to call you to tell you my colleague had an appointment on the car and it's sold". Had she stated I needed to lock the deal via online contract or pay deposit or something, I would have not had to deal with this hassle, but rather sign the deal online and then drive down! THIS IS LOW LEVEL SALES AT ITS BEST!

    While they were great with working a deal out for the truck I wanted, I was very disappointed to know that the price online did not match the vehicles price onsite. Eileen added all these extra charges for ceramic coating, door protectors and wheel locks. I want to say it was about $2500 total. Once everything was signed for and I drove home, I realized that the wheel locks weren't even on the truck. All these "extras" were supposedly already installed. Yet my wheel locks were just standard lug nuts. I reached out to one of the sales reps over 2 weeks ago and there's supposedly a work order in process. 2 weeks to get lock nuts ordered??? A little absurd if you ask me. I reached out to Eileen about this..... crickets. I honestly feel cheated and lied to. Granted it was only $200, but who does that? No wonder car salesmen get a bad rep.

I reached out to Refined Auto with the same request, and it was a more reasonable price, especially since I had no idea if I needed to do anything to my rotors. My dad was present while Cesar worked on my car, and my dad gave me such a glowing review of how Cesar worked. My dad has not been able to stop talking about how Cesar did an amazing job on my car, how clean he works, how he keeps his tools, and his communication. My dad was so impressed with the quality of work Cesar provided on my car that he decided to get a quote for replacing his rotors. When Ceasr finished on my car, he let me know that my brake fluid was not in good condition. He drained my brake fluid and replaced it with new fluid. He explained to me in detail that brake fluid should not be topped off. I had no idea, and apparently, my dad didn't know either, and we had topped it off because it was low. Now, I know, for future reference, that when it's low, I should replace my brakes. I appreciate the work that Cesar did on my car and his communication. I will absolutely use his service again and recommend him to friends and family.

    WOW! Truly impressed with this location…read more They verified the brake caliper on my girlfriend's vehicle was not truly seized. Downey Car Care Center was going to charge an additional $289.47 for a brake caliper that was not needed and an additional $152.10 for a brake fluid service had we replaced the caliper. While Downey Car Care Center highly recommended the caliper, Alex's Auto Repair stated they did not want us to waste a lot of money if the calipers were not the problem. Truly grateful for Alex's Auto Repair prompt responses and amazing customer service. They verified the caliper did not need to be replaced. They simply lubricated our caliper. We were able to save over $400 and we are grateful. Thank you for your ethics, honesty, and time. It truly makes a difference. (photo on the left is from Alex's auto repair; photo on right is from Downey Car Care Center). So glad we got our brakes and rotors replaced by Alex's Auto Repair. I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. I got a free car wash at the was station next door, full service, and they did a great wash. I am already planning my next visit with them. I will update review in the future.

    Truly disappointed with this location. Lorenzo, the service advisor tried to charge us $25 for the…read morebrake inspection upon initial arrival. When I pointed out the banner at their shop that says "Free Brake Inspection" and their website which states Free Brake Inspection, he retorted that their website also states they do free smog checks, but he states they do not even do smog. (When relooking at their website, they do not mention free smog anyways.) Lorenzo stated the brake inspections were not free and the website got it wrong. When I asked him for the person in charge he stated Erika and Ezekiel were in the parts dept. It is a shame Lorenzo was the only advisor handling a long line at check in. He stated Corporate was aware of the brake inspection charge discrepancy. If they are aware and he is aware, why try to charge a customer for a "Free" brake inspection? After leaving our car here, we heard the next day of a list of repairs needed. Lorenzo stated they believed our brake caliper was seized but could not confirm it. He attempted to charge us an additional $289.47 for the brake caliper service and $152.10 for the brake fluid service in addition to the brakes and rotor replacement service charge we were expecting. The issue is that when we asked Lorenzo if he could confirm if the brake caliper was truly needed to be replaced, he could just say he highly suggests replacing it. From the beginning, this place was trying to scam. I reached out to Alex's Auto Repair in Cypress, who confirmed they could verify if the brake caliper would be needed. Alex's Auto Repair stated there would be no need to waste extra money if he could confirm the issue. Alex's Auto Repair serviced us, and simply lubricated our caliper without us needing to pay over $800 for the whole brake service like Downey Care Care was quoting us. Alex's Auto Repair took the time to verify the issue, charging us less than half of what Downey Care Care center wanted to charge. My issue with this location is they would have happily overcharged us for a service that was not needed. Take your car to Alex's Auto Repair, save your time and money. While Downey Care Care Center was busy playing around, we had to spend extra time and money booking a rental car. (Photo on the left is from Alex's Auto Repair who took the time to verify the concern and lubricate our caliper. The photo on the right includes one page of many pages of services recommended by Downey Care Center including replacing the brake caliper and fluid exchange had we chosen to go that route.) Makes me question if the remaining suggested repairs (not all pictured below) by Downey Care Care Center were even necessary.
