This was a fix I had done previously on my refrigerator for about $45 by myself. The job they did for this insane fee was performed because the technician couldn't speak English so he could not explain to me what the problem was, so I went with them on a bit of faith that it was an issue I could not handle. After the job and all this crazy thievery, was when I realized it was something I could have done on my own for HUNDREDS of less dollars. Aaron was our service technician and was knowledgeable about European Appliances. He was professional and a good communicator to explain the issues to me and ordered a new part for my machine. The new part arrived he did a great job at my request to take photos for me of the inside of the machine before and after. That way I could see how he was able to thoroughly clean the inside of the machine before a main part was replaced.
