Walked In on a Wednesday night and happened to be the first guest of the evening. Staff was kind and greeted us with a nice table. After our order of apps, the food did not take long to arrive. Our mains were simple but very delicious! Our meal was super satisfying and dessert was simple and delicious.Throughout the rest of our evening the dining room was finally getting filled right when we ended our meal. Hope to be back again for a celebration or an opportunity to watch the world cup! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance here was truly one of a kind![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the price I definitely expected a little more flavor but I will never be mad at great food made simple and well.

They say me pretty quickly with out a reservation but there is only table seating, no bar seating. I only came in for dessert and I could tell the staff was a bit disgruntled with it but they served me nonetheless. I asked for a different flan than the one I ordered. But it was good regardless and I'm glad the service was fast. Would be curious to check them out for dinner.

Buenos Aires is a traditional Argentinian steakhouse in the City. The service was wonderful, we arrived in time for our reservation and they had everything ready for us to be seated right away. Everybody was super courteous and helpful. The menu is extensive and there is something for everybody. The drink options are also vast and every drink we got was well balanced and tasty. The empanadas were my favorite thing of the meal, they were crispy and full of flavor. The meat was tasty, but I must say I was expecting something with more depth in flavor for an Argentinian steakhouse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it was a lovely experience at a very lively place and we enjoyed our time here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A Carnivore's Paradise with Hospitality to Match! [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment we walked in, the vibe at Buenos Aires felt like a warm welcome in the heart of Argentina.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The moment we were seated, our server--along with the rest of the staff--greeted us with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. Throughout the night, they remained attentive and friendly, a sentiment echoed by many online: "The waiters are super friendly and attentive," and that "Patricio the head waiter is a pro" . Our meal kicked off with a generous selection of traditional appetizers: empanadas, chorizo, morcilla, mollejas--each bursting with bold, authentic flavor . When our juicy, grass‑fed Argentine steaks arrived (tender, perfectly grilled, and hormone‑free!), the staff ensured the grilling was spot‑on and that every dish was hot and ready . Between the effusive service and the flavorful chimichurri--served tableside to bring every cut to life--it felt like dining in Buenos Aires itself . One reviewer perfectly captured it: "Excellent food and service" with menu items "tender and cooked to perfection" . What really stood out? The staff's friendly professionalism, their eagerness to explain menu choices, and their timing--never rushed but always on cue. They even surprised us with a complimentary taste of dulce de leche dessert, capping our night on a high note. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Add the casual yet festive East Village ambiance, a robust Argentine wine list, and an outdoor seating option--and you've got a winner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Buenos Aires isn't just a steakhouse; it's a dining experience fueled by top-tier hospitality. Final word: For anyone craving authentic Argentine steak with first-rate service in a lively East Village setting, Buenos Aires is the place to go. Five stars all around--I'll be back soon!

I really wanted to love this restaurant, especially given its great reviews, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. Pollo Empanada - Not sure if there was a mix-up, but the filling contained egg and a whole olive... not my preference. Spinach Empanada - My favorite! Creamy, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend ordering this one. Langostinos Argentinos al Ajillo - There seemed to be some confusion between langostinos and camarones--I was definitely served shrimp, not prawns. I've had much better camarones al ajillo elsewhere; these lacked flavor and felt bland??? Parrillada Buenos Aires for Two - This was heavy on the sausages, which weren't the highlight for me. The Angus short rib was juicy and well-prepared, but the "skirt steak" was definitely not a skirt steak cut. It was dry and underseasoned, which was disappointing. Even the chimichurri was a bland! :/ Flan con Crema, Dulce de Leche o Mixto - The flan itself was decent, but it lacked the creamy, silky texture. The service was good. I had a mojito that was decent and a caipirinha that was quite strong. Overall, this experience was a letdown, and I probably wouldn't return or recommend it. If you're looking for great Argentinian food, Libertador is a much better option!

The food was amazing and the service was incredible. We came to celebrate our friend's birthday and omg we had such a good time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was fun, the energy was great, and everything made it feel like the perfect place to celebrate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The steak was chef's kiss and the crepes??? SO good, definitely some of our favorites. Mauro, our server, was also amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Not gonna lie, the service really added to the night and made the celebration feel extra special. Highly recommend!

I'm really not sure how I've missed out on Buenos Aires for so many years, but this Argentine spot is a great choice if you're in the mood for meat. The restaurant is cozy and covered in all kinds of memorabilia (mostly Messi and other futbol flags/jerseys/more), but we sat outside on a nice night (lovely outdoor shed thingy), and after chatting with our accommodating server, we decided to split a few items between the four of us. We rolled with some empanadas to start (jamon y queso the runaway winner), the shrimp and garlic sauce (excellent for dipping bread), and the Parrillada de Carne mixed grill for three. This is why you're here. It was three different steaks (not that mixed a grill), ribeye, strip, and picanha. 30 oz of meat, all cooked beautifully. The salad (criolla) that comes with it is fine. The accompanying fries are fine. But the meat is grassfed, deliciously tender and juicy beef imported from Argentina. Paired with a bottle of malbec, it's what I want when I'm craving beef.

We walked in with no reservations around 630 on Saturday and were greeted and seated promptly. No fuss! This was awesome because within a 30 minutes, every table was absolutely packed. Service was absolutely top-notch, and not just attentive but over the top friendly. They treated us like they had known us for years! The inside of the restaurant gives off a very charming, familial steakhouse vibe, with the walls adorned with all sorts of Argentinian memorabilia and icons. It was very comfortable and inviting, feeling more like being invited to eat at your friends, grandparents home. Absolutely awesome! Very clean on the inside and you can tell they have an incredible pride in their establishment. The food was on point - fresh, generous, and perfectly prepared and presented. They are not messing around. I woke up full the next morning! We each had a separate salad, then shrimp in garlic, ravioli and Argentinian ribeye followed by dessert! Had a couple glasses of the sangria as well, which were absolutely rockn' ! Again, such a treat to be treated like family and to have the complement of excellent food as well ! Goooaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll !!!!!!

    Porterhouse

Theyre awesome and service is excellent. Get the spicy beef empanadas and the Porterhouse! (So delicious!!) [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how homey it looks and feels inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will continue to come here!

My eternal quest for finding a good steak in THE East Village is finally over. The Fiona to my Shrek, the Buttercup to my Westley, The Jada to my Will...wait.... First and foremost, I must address the elephant in the room. A "B" rating hangs in the window. I know, I know. But please hear me out, my dear reader. My big bro and I deliberated for about 5 minutes outside about whether we should eat here or not, the big green B looming over us. I was hoping big bro would choose for me, as I am cripplingly indecisive in times like this, and that's why big bro is big bro! However, big bro looks at me dead in the eye and says "it's your call, I'm leaving it up to you." Was this my moment? Had my time finally come? Little bro evolving into big bro? Gohan taking the reigns from Goku to defeat Cell? The fact that I had my heart set on a nice cut of meat mixed with the glowing yelp reviews, I decided to walk through the fire of a B rating. Sometimes you gotta risk it for the biscuit. And I love biscuits. This ended up being the best decision I have made since getting a little $30 hand held vacuum for our place. All our nook and crannies clean now. We sit down and are struck by a beautiful, simple interior. Very cosy ambiance. Literally every Argentinian great graces these walls. So beast. I need to highlight the lukewarm butter that is easily spreadable onto the bread. I am so sick of butter being cold and un-spreadable, even at some high end steakhouses (looking at you, Wolfgangs). We started with beef empanadas that had some sort of egg and I think olives, and lord almighty they were amazing. For mains, I got the 16oz skirt steak, big bro got the Ribeye, and we got the parsely and garlic fries to split. Yo... this skirt steak... oh my god. It came hot thick and juicy, perfectly medium rare just liked I ordered. Juices dripping down as I picked it up with my steak knife and sterling silver fork. Hands down the BEST skirt steak I have had in my entire life, and I would speculate it was more than 16oz. It was a BEHEMOTH. I'm doing a terrible job describing it, but it was ineffable. I attached a video here, or see my social media linked below, hehe haha. As of this moment, this would 100% be my death row meal. Also, we were making a video on this place so I think the owners thought we were bigtime, and they gave us FREE dulce de leche. THIS IS TOP NOTCH SERVICE! I WILL BE BACK ASAP ROCKY! I am a local business man working here in the East Village for over 40 years and I've been coming to Buenos Aires for over 20 years now. Patricia the "main waiter" is simply THE BEST as is the food here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wonderful service, atmosphere, and of course the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When you see locals from Argentina eating here you KNOW it's going to be amazing! I came here for brunch which is about $30 for a main dish and dessert, and a bit more if you choose the unlimited alcohol brunch. Everyone was very warm and welcoming! People constantly came by to fill my water glass; it was never empty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]With all the soccer/football stuff on the walls and tv it's quite a friendly and joyful atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The free bread was good, the big jar of chimichurri on the table was AMAZING, and my steak and eggs were absolutely perfect. The salad, home fries, and chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream were also very good! Unexpectedly large portions! I left very full and very happy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom is big and clean - just don't bump into anyone on your way out![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server even gave me some cookies on the house! Will definitely come back and bring friends with me!

A Birthday Dinner That Felt Like a Scene From a New York Movie…read more We chose Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for my birthday dinner because we wanted something special--not just a good meal, but a real New York moment. And the moment we walked in, I thought, yes... this is exactly where a birthday should happen. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings, dramatic staircase, rich wood, elegant details, and huge dining room made everything feel grand and glamorous. It had the classic energy of an American steakhouse, but with a modern and luxurious New York style. Then I noticed the enormous floor-to-ceiling windows. Honestly, the glass was so perfectly clean that I almost forgot there was glass there at all. For a second, it felt like the entire city was simply open in front of us. I was strangely impressed by this because giant windows in a busy city are not always this spotless. But here, they were crystal clear, and the New York view became part of our dinner. We sat looking out at the city, ordered wine, and began my birthday celebration. Then, as if someone had carefully planned the scene, a sudden rain shower started outside. Perfect timing. There we were, sitting inside this beautiful restaurant, watching the rain fall over New York through the giant windows, drinking delicious wine, eating incredible food, and celebrating my birthday with my family. It felt less like dinner and more like a scene from a movie. The wine was wonderful, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The oysters were fresh and clean-tasting. The burrata was creamy, soft, and beautiful with the tomatoes. The warm bread arrived shiny with butter and was dangerously good--the kind of bread that makes you say, "I'm only having one," and then suddenly the basket is empty. The fish entrée was beautifully prepared, and the steak was exactly what I hoped for. It had a deeply seared, flavorful crust on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. This was not the kind of steak you quietly eat. This was the kind of steak that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. That silence was the review. Everything tasted carefully prepared, and the ingredients felt fresh and high quality. There was not one disappointing dish on the table. At the end of dinner, they brought out a lovely birthday dessert with strawberries, pink cream, a candle, and a "Happy Birthday" chocolate decoration. It was sweet, pretty, and the perfect ending to the evening. The beautiful interior, the sparkling wine, the city view, the sudden rain, the excellent food, and my family celebrating together made the entire night unforgettable. I went there expecting a nice birthday dinner. Instead, I received a full New York birthday movie scene--with steak. I would absolutely return the next time I visit New York. Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

I sat at the bar, since it was only me, but tho the bar wasn't busy and service was friendly, it was very slow. The food was wonderful! I'm glad I made the choices I did, tho of course nothing I wanted was included in the happy hour specials. The fried calamari was some of the best I've had tho it was observed with a little bit of cocktail sauce and a huge thing of tartar sauce. I'm sure I could have gotten more cocktail sauce, since I don't like tartar sauce, but it wasn't necessary. The calamari was so good. The lobster bisque was delicious and the picture can't show you that it was full of lobster.
