This place is not easy to find, even with GPS navigating you. I was lucky to make the correct turn, because otherwise we would have had to backtrack. The turn in for this is just after the Gulf Coast Inn and just before the Verizon store. There is no indication that this place exists from the street, unless you are keen eyed enough to notice the sign on the building at the back of the lot. I am pretty sure the business can't do anything about the lack of signage, but wanted others to know how to best navigate to it. When we arrived on a Sunday morning around 9AM there were only a couple of tables with people at them. I expected there to be a wait to be sat (based on other breakfast joints just up the road with a line out the door) but we were quickly shown to our table. Our waitress took our drink order and made pleasant small talk with us once she learned we were from out of town. Food definitely was more traditional Mexican. Two of the people at the table ordered the "A La Americana", which is two eggs any style served with bacon, sausage, or ham, homestyle potatoes, and pancakes. I knew that when it said homestyle potatoes that it was going to be a long shot if they would like them, and when they came out with green peppers and onions mixed in neither ate them. That was okay with me, just meant I got to eat them! I got the sausage, egg and cheese burrito. It didnt come with a side of anything, but was decently filling all by itself. Coupled with the 2 sides of potatoes I left a couple of bites of the burrito on the plate. They offer a mild, medium, and hot sauce. I asked for some hat sauce, which was obviously made in house. It had some decent spice to it and was quite tasty. Last person got the pancakes, and said they were good. Overall rating from everyone was the food that they were willing to eat was good. Service was lacking at times - I never saw a refill of my drink and it took a while to get the check. Quaint little restaurant with maybe 10-12 tables in the whole place. Price was reasonable for the food that we got. Overall if we lived in the area I might be back, but my family would not because of the potatoes. They really love their starches. read more

My husband and I came here after fishing and it was everything we needed. We both got the molletes with chorizo and it was great. But I also got a hot mocha and it was soooo good! It was rich and smooth and probably the best coffee I've had around Pensacola; I can't drive to Gulf Breeze just for coffee, but it's tempting. The sweet bread was fine; I didn't realize that it's just bread with some sweet stuff on top. Our wait time on our food was pretty reasonable, and with my drink, the sweet bread, and 2 entrees, our bill was only $33, which is excellent. read more

Hidden little gem! It's literally hidden at the end of a strip center, not visible from road. Map it bc it's worth it! Very authentic menu items. After much deliberation, I ordered the chicken & egg chilaquiles with homemade black beans. It was delicious! The portion was large so to go box for sure....I'm not leaving this yumminess for the trash! My friend had The Works omelette which had chorizo and queso in it and served with Mexican style pepper that had Serrano peppers mixed in there. Both delicious! I'd come back for sure. When my Dad told me that a Mexican breakfast place with chilaquiles (Mexican eggs and tortilla chips breakfast dish) in little Gulf Breeze, I was initially pretty skeptical. I've had the BEST chilaquiles at MartAnne's in Flagstaff, AZ. Yet Buenos Dias is a lovely little spot and did not disappoint. The coffee isn't burnt or bland like most breakfast places that serves it from a basic coffee pot set-up. The food comes out fast. And everything is tasty! Concerning the chilaquiles--I got it with salsa verde and eggs. Though the sauce is delicious, it does not drench the tortilla chips as you might expect; rather, in between two layers of chips, they cleverly melt some queso fresco cheese. It's brilliant. Beans are flavorful on the side too. With plenty of other options on the menu, this place is worthy of any group to come in and try a variety of fun Mexican breakfast dishes. Bravo! read more

When you walk in, you're immediately hit with the smell of what feels like I was walking into abuelas kitchen and sitting down at her breakfast table. I got the huevos A La Mexicana and my boyfriend got the breakfast tacos. I highly recommend the Huevos A La Mexicana with chorizo. It's scrambled eggs with various veggies and chorizo.
