Attractive, modern and clean dining area. (Outdoor seating available during warm months.) Great options with breakfast available all day. I saw a tri tip sandwich delivered to the table next to mine and it looked amazing! It was more than an inch thick with sliced tri tip and was served with really great looking fries (I think a variety of side options are offered.) Took my grandchild and they ordered the pancakes from the kids menu. These came with an orange slice and about a half dozen blueberries but the kid loves fruit so also ordered a side of fruit. I got a side of a biscuit and gravy and a side of breakfast potatoes. Everything was enjoyed and my food was even better with the salsas they offered. My coffee cup was kept full and everyone was friendly. Will go again for lunch or dinner sometime (soon!) read more

This family-owned restaurant is welcoming and cozy. The staff is attentive. The young man, who was our server, was in charge of every single table and waited on all customers with friendliness and care. The dishes were standard fare but freshly prepared...no warming trays here! I had the basic breakfast. Eggs and bacon were fine, but the "toast" was three baguette slices, barely toasted w/o butter, and jam that had an odd flavor. My friend's huevos rancheros was tasty, but a bit "soupy" because every thing is served in bowls. I would not order the coffee again. I suspect that it is a "blend" of some sort (chickory?) and I did not enjoy the flavor. For $4.50 a cup, it should be better than this. The tab came to $50. w/tip. Not sure if the value is here. read more

The food was so good. I got the chilaquiles con huevos + carne asada and my husband got the birria flauntas. Both were very good. He is usually very picky about Mexican food but he said this place is solid and WOULD COME BACK. Mind you we live an hour away. So him saying that is a big deal. I would like to come back to try more dishes. Can't wait! Also the staffs were all very nice and accommodating. My lil son had a lil incident and they were very nice about it and helped us clean up. Jahir gave us outstanding service from the moment we walked through the door. We arrived on a Saturday at 1pm for a late breakfast, and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Breakfast Huarache. I can't do raw onion, so I asked for grilled onions instead. My meat of choice was Pastor, no queso, and eggs over medium. Since I'm not much for spice, Jahir recommended Salsa Verde only. I asked for a side of black beans, which are very flavorful and creamy. Jahir was right and I almost licked the plate clean. My husband ordered the Pastor burrito and says it's delicious. He helped me with the black beans. We both LOVE that everything here is made from scratch, especially as I'm allergic to many food additives including MSG. The flavors are great, and we especially enjoy the Pastor and braised chicken. You can't go wrong eating here. Just don't expect chunky guacamole or chips and salsa at your table. Ordered some burritos to go from this spot today, and it didn't disappoint! Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and delicious green sauce. Kind staff as well. Would definitely recommend! (One star knocked off because they mixed up our two burritos with the labeling - my husband is allergic to avocados, and the one they labeled "no avocado" was actually the one with it. Best huevos rancheros I've ever had. Poached eggs were perfect. Tacos crispy enough to not be soggy but not tough either, sauce perfectly balanced with a smoky flavor. Nice relaxed brunch restaurant atmosphere, super nice waitstaff. Absolutely coming back here. read more

Through word of mouth I heard this place was amazing. It's a breakfast and lunch spot only. Which for Mexican is rare in this area but very intriguing. I have only had breakfast so far. I was super excited to go here and was not disappointed. I've been here a few times and each time I loved what I ate. The service was ultra friendly and attentive each time. The standouts to me so far are 3 items: Their pancakes, they were so refreshing and different but so delicious. I would eat this every time I came here if I could and I'm more of a "savory" breakfast person. Huevos rancheros, also delicious and the perfect amount of food. Each bite was different in a good way. Many layers. The breakfast burrito. It's very meaty, and filling. A little on the spendy side when you first see the price but worth it. One a side note I didn't have the breakfast sandwich but it looked amazing and was one of the least expensive things on the menu. My wife said it was amazing. If I had to use one word to describe this place it would be fresh. Everything tastes so fresh and very thought out. Definitely elevated Mexican breakfast dishes. It is an amazing addition to the Vancouver area and a massive upgrade from the previous business that was there. read more

Buenos Dias is a Mexican cafe serving delicious breakfast all day! The service was super nice and sunny, and we had some delicious breakfast while we were in town. The breakfast huarache was so tasty and my eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. The pickled onions on top were super fresh and the two salsas had amazing spice and heat without being overpowering. The breakfast burrito was full of eggs and chorizo, was seasoned super well, and trying the burrito with all the sauces provided was really fun. I wish we had some room for the Mexican pastries at the coffee counter, but we were full and satisfied! We're go glad we started the day here! read more

This was my second time here and was just as delicious if not even better than the first time! We got the carne asada torta which was flavorful and fresh from the avocado and pickled jalapenos. It came with a side so we chose the biscuit and gravy. We decided we will get a bigger portion of that next time! Decided to get something I never tried before and went with the moletes. It was a huge portion and so tasty! Would definitely get it again. They have 4 different salsas they bring to the table which are spicy and mouth watering. The service is fast and the servers are friendly! Restaurant is clean, open and bright. Definitely adding Buenos Días to my favorites list for brunch! read more

Located in the former Goldie's BBQ on Fourth Plain in northeast Vancouver, here's a tasty Mexican option for all palettes. The asada burrito was hefty and really good with a few unique elements like slices of tomato inside. I really enjoyed it and felt like it was decent value for the price. I would have given four stars but I asked for no avocado and the burrito to-go wrapper was even labeled "no avocado," but there was definitely avocado inside. We enjoyed a delicious brunch at Buenos Dias today. This is a typical strip mall restaurant, not particularly fancy, but the food was really delicious! Our visit started with a friendly server who checked back often. The recommended a few things, one was the coffee which he said contains orange peel and cinnamon and is sweetened. It came piping hot with a generous pitcher of cream. So good! I ordered the Chilaquiles con Huevo and my companions both ordered the Huarche. Both were really delicious! Mine came with 2 perfectly poached eggs. I really hate it when poached eggs are watery and wet. These were perfectly cooked and no water pooling around them. These Huarache is similar to the chilaquiles, no chips and instead a masa base. This was our first time there and we will definitely be back! read more

Everything from seating to leaving was AMAZING!!' Excellent service!!! And FOOD -- oh dear lord -- we had the Huevos Rancheros! I would eat this every day any time of day!! I generally don't like fried tortillas BUT - the sauce ( of course amazing) just softened and soaked them in wonderfulness!!! Eggs were perfect and chorizo was some of the best we've had ( and my husband makes ours!) the coffee -- ohhh wonderful Mexican coffee - everything was perfect -- completely delicious & lovely service! This was our first visit to this restaurant. We walked in and the place is really clean and the staff is friendly. I uploaded the photos of our food. My husband had the breakfast burrito. It came with its own tray of sauces which made him very happy. I ordered huevos divorciados which came with 2 eggs, black beans, avocado, and queso fresco. IT WAS DELICIOUS! I also had the cafe de allo and it came in a beautiful clay pot. It smelled amazing and added wonderful flavor to my meal. We will be going back again for sure! read more

Well it's sad to see Goldie's BBQ go away. This is a great replacement. I've never been to a Mexican brunch place before and this one is unique in that way. I had the they were three on a plate but they were pretty small compared to what I normally think of. In terms of enchiladas. It was tasty and if the chicken might have been a little bit dry. It's just like the old IHOP reimagined in a Mexican flare and that they bring you a quartet of different salsas instead of a quartet of different syrups. I tried the three on the leaf spicy scale and I thought they were all very good. I asked for Chris breakfast potatoes but they weren't able to do that so they replace them with french fries which were hot and fresh and very crisp read more

I came here for breakfast and ordered their chilaquiles con huevo with suadero. It's crispy tortillas simmered in your choice of red, green or both salsas. Topped with queso fresco, sour cream, onion, cilantro, avocado and two eggs cooked to your liking. I also added meat (suadero) which was an additional cost. For the additional cost it comes with a lot of meat. They also provide you 4 additional salsas you can add to it if you'd like. I haven't had chilaquiles in a long time, and this one wasn't heavy or greasy. Compared to other places I've had chilaquiles this one felt lighter, fresher and honestly really delicious. Highly recommend this spot for folks, plus you don't see some of these breakfast dishes at other Mexican places. Their plating is gorgeous but you can tell by their service, and their food how much they care about what they serve read more

Can't say how happy I am to have a really good Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is made fresh, quickly and the place seems to be family-run. The service is great and everyone is extremely pleasant. I have't tried everything yet, but the carne asada is delicious and the breakfast menu is really good. It's a great place to go for a late breakfast if you want to grab some great chilaquiles or a MASSIVE breakfast burrito. read more

Finally got to try this place out and it was wonderful! It is in the style of coming up to the register to order and then they bring your food to you. The ambiance is great, very clean, and simplistic. All staff that we talked to were very kind and accommodating. We were checked on about two times by different people which was nice. The food was great, large portions, and very delicious. The horchata also goes crazy, it was seriously so good. I will definitely be back and highly recommend! read more

First things first... customer service was Fantastic!!! From the minute we walked in... everyone was nice, smiling. Our young waiter suggested some items and they were delicious. We tried a little of everything. The chilaquiles red sauce, tri-tip sandwich, pancake and I don't remember the name of these dish my husband ordered, but it was all delicious. I went and had a true Mexican Breakfast and I got it. The food had the perfect spice level and I have to admit the most perfect eggs over medium I have ever had in a restaurant. I highly recommend going and trying this place out. It is a bit out of the way and sits in a strip plaza. The decor modest but nice. Again you are going there for the food. The staff were super nice - very friendly and helpful. GO GO GO. read more

Delicious! There was a lot of buzz about this place for good reason. We can at 9am on a Saturday, and there was plenty of seating but it did start to fill up. I feel like when the word gets out it will get very busy. We had the breakfast hurache, the huevos divorcidad and the pancakes. All were delicious, I especially loved the red sauce. WE LOVE BUEÑOS DÍAS!!!! We have had an amazing experience every time we go, the hospitality is amazing from start to end! They are so attentive and welcoming! It has become a place we love to come to with the amazing food and ambience! I couldn't recommend this place more if you want amazing Mexican food options for breakfast or lunch. All their salsas are reallyyyyyy good too if you like the extra spices to your food! My first visits to Buenos Dias, definitely not my last. Great service, amazing food. I sampled their four sauces, all very good and unique! And the suadero is delicious - it's like brisket. Incredibly good. We went here for lunch today because we wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant. We were thinking enchiladas, tortas, taco, burritos or the like. We ended up both ordering from the breakfast menu. It was delightful. Far better than the ordinary typical Americanized Mexican food you usually find. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was both tasty and plentiful. The only regret I had was that we didn't get to try the lunch items. If they are anywhere near as good as the breakfast items it will be wonderful. We'll definitely be finding out soon. read more

This is a unique Mexican restaurant. They had some dishes I have not had at other restaurants before. I had Chilaquiles con Huevo, with added Asada. It consists of crispy tortilla strips simmered in house-made Red Chili salsa (or Green or a mix), 2 eggs any style, queso fresca, sour cream, onion, and two I asked be withheld for my taste, cilantro and avocado. The tortilla strips retained their crispiness. All ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. I also had a Mexican coffee which has a slightly sweet cinnamon flavor that did not override the coffee flavor. Service was prompt and very friendly and welcoming. read more

The taco de birria was also enormous, was more like a quesadilla and it was cut into quarters, and topped with onions, cilantro and sour cream. You might think that a chef with a heritage like Lauro Romero might break the bank, but you would be wrong. We paid about $120 for multiple courses + desert for two. While I don't have a problem paying top dollar for good food, and Clandestino could easily be that kind of restaurant, I appreciate the philosophy of keeping elevated food relatively affordable. How else are Portlanders going to learn what the real thing tastes like? Of course, there are some small things they are still working out as a new restaurant. (Not their fault, but a hint would be in order in case the person who serves is not the same person who ordered.) It is likely the most expensive Thai take-out so I expected better. Silly, right? The Pad Se Ew was free of overwhelming flavor. I don't like that everything came in plastic containers. We're working to get away from plastics. There are other good places (Thai Little Home and Thai Wok) to go for takeout that make flavorful dishes. I'll stick with my past-proven favorites.
