This is a great Kitchen/bar. I love their cocktail menu, and they always have good beers on tap. Over the years we've tried just about everything on the menu. My mom drives all the way from Austin for their beef on wec sandwich, the salted bun really brings it together. When in doubt go with pizza and wings, they have some great specials. The ONLY negative thing I can say is the parking situation is terrible. It's on the TCU campus so if you don't have a TCU parking pass, good luck. read more

I am struggling about whether to give Buffalo Bros 3 or 4 stars, but I am settling on 3 stars because the food, while yummy, is not why you go to Buffalo Bros. For me, Buffalo Bros is a place you go to watch the game with a fun crowd, where it is not too crowded. Buffalo Bros is great for drinking a goblet of beer while eating bar food and catching up with friends. It's been a whirlwind of a week: funny things happen to you when you spend your evenings slowly (yet elaborately) discovering the late nights of West DFW, and in this case, we found ourselves looking for a spot to unwind after a night of Yelp Drinking (caps intentional via the citywide HH), and what definitely seemed the correct vibe could have been some sort of campus friendly, roll up your sleeves joint with an amenable tap selection and a kitchen at the ready. There was hope but no promises. Enter Buffalo Brothers, an already-a-little-sideways with the local campus crowd joint, easily navigated, bartenders at the ready, not so much bustling but full of regulars, a crowd that perhaps wasn't easily surprised but also wasn't much in the way of surprises. I opted in for a bit of BBQ chicken strip comfort food, and quite literally everything was A-OK. Heard about this place for YEARS. How they had good Buffalo Wings. And also daily specials throughout the week. We were starving so we ordered pepperoni pizza, wings (hot and Cajun dry rub). Also ordered the mozzarella sticks. Not sure how this place is so popular. The only positive I can say is that the WING size was bigger than normal. The wing sauce was very pathetic and plain. I think all it was a Franks Red Hot, NO LIE. Zero effort. They didn't even bother covering the entire wing, only one side of sauce They didn't even have lemon pepper‍. The mozzarella sticks were clearly frozen and sooo plain. The pepperoni pizza lmaoooo. Tasted like it was fresh out of Digiorno box. I have no reason to lie. I have taste buds. They have some of the hottest wings I've ever had & I eat a lot of ghost pepper laden foods. They have a deal for 4 wings, a slice of there house pizza and a 18 oz schooner of domestic draft for like $10!!! Hit it up! I went of trivia night with a few friends from school and I gotta say it was just what i needed. The brew was flowing (cheaply I might add), food was being noshed on and we had a blast playing trivia! The atmosphere made it easy for everyone to socialize. We made a few new friends. This was our second visit to Buffalo Bros. If tonight went well, we'd make a weekly visit (our service last time was stellar). Buffalo Brothers is exactly what a sports bar should be. A long bar with several stools, a handful of tables, lots of tvs, and good ol' fried food. This isn't the kind of thing I frequently crave, but every once in a while nothing else will do but a Miller Lite and plate of wings. They have all kinds of greasy dining combos, like pizza, wings and beer; or wings, fries and soda. It won't be mistaken for fine dining or even fine drinking (pretty mainstream brews served here). As long as you know that going into, you'll be as happy as I was to pull up a barstool and pig out. During my time at TCU a week didn't go by that I wasn't at buffalo bros. The staff is so friendly, it's a fun scene (TONS of tvs and they are always willing to put on whatever game you want) and incredible bar food. The best chicken wings I've ever had, crispy skin, thick, flavorful sauce. Everything is awesome, from the pizza, to the subs. I only wish we still lived in Fort Worth so I could eat here more frequently. If you're into pizza & wings, this place is a must try! read more

In the heart of TCU - I found a Buffalo NY bar. As someone from Buffalo NY I came for that reason alone, but also for location and beer. I was not disappointed. The wings were good - only complaint would be they were very salty and the blue cheese was so mild I could barely tell it was blue cheese (cheap) but the wings themselves were fresh, hot, REAL sized wings with authentic sauce. Had two specialty beers on tap that I picked selectively and were awesome, though they did not have a ton. TVs aren't very large and the bar is small, and I would assume to be packed on a day the Bills or Sabres play, so will try to come back on that occasion and see how that goes. Didn't have enough room to try the other delectables so hopefully soon. Servers are very nice and helpful. Was offered samples of drafts I wasn't sure of..nice folks. I love buffalo bros, been there a few times. They've always had exceptional service but this one night... I recently went Saturday night the night or the UFC and big boxing fight, of course it was packed I understand that. I've started coming here on a weekly basis lately. Buffalo Bros is good if you take it for what it is. They have some sort of special for every day of the week; the only two I can remember are Wednesday is $5 for 10 wings, and Thursday is half off frozen drinks (yayyyy margaritas!). Feel free to mix it up with your wing choices - I tend to get half mild and half barbecue because I love both and always prefer to not make a one-or-the-other decision if possible. This place is laden with TV's, so wherever you sit you're bound to see whatever game you're looking to watch. The staff is always friendly, I've never had a real problem with the service here. I would go here every Monday night with a few friends just to start the week off right and it was great service and the food came out fast every time. There are these things that they have, like little pieces of fried dough with cinnamon and suger. They are amazingly wonderful. I actually like all of their desserts. But that one is probably my favorite because for like 3 bucks you get so many pieces of dough. I wouldn't recommend eating them every night, but if they had any nutrients in them at all, I would consider eating them regularly myself. Being from Buffalo myself the pizza here is not a true buffalo style pizza. It tastes like any other pizza in Texas. Flat, okay sauce and the pepperoni is alright. I did like the decor since it was heavily influenced from my home town which was great. The wings are wings. In my opinion I like Duff's better here locally in Dallas but I still miss my wings back home that really can't compare. read more

Attended UB for my Bachelors degree... it has been a struggle to find good NY style pizza and after coming across Buffalo Brothers online i COULD NOT WAIT to try them and had high hopes (even though its 20 miles from our house). The bad : prices aren't listed on their site and they are a bit pricey, the dough is not NY style dough (not bad, just different) if you're going to claim to be Buffalo style food, that's what you should deliver. Ordered take out, pizza was good! Very big, huge box. I like the flavor of the buffalo sauce and the pizza was cheesy! Good, but not crispy enough for my taste; Basically only the very edge of the crust was "crunchy" the rest was just soft, not bad or undercooked, just soft. This is a GREAT sports bar. I was most recently here to watch an NFL playoffs game. The crowd was great, the servers were friendly and super helpful, and the food...top notch. I got the jalapeno poppers and traditional wings. It was all so good. My friend and I asked for extra ranch and the server hooked us up!
