I find Buffalo Brothers very inconsistent. At times the wings and food are spot on. Other times, the wings are overcooked and the food greasy. I can't quite figure out the service model. One person took our order. One person brought out our food. One person cleared our table and refilled drinks. At the end of the meal, we had to wait a while as the person who took our order had to be the one to bring us our check. Another thing I don't get about Buffalo Brothers is that you can only order wings in groupings of 10 and can only have all 10 wings the same flavor. For instance, this evening, I took my young son. He wanted plain wings. I had to order 10 plain wings, then get sauce on the side for me to spice 5 of the wings. This makes no sense, since they provided the sauce to me. Whatever. I returned this afternoon, to see if they improved. Service is still excellent. I ordered 20 buffalo wings, bone-in with blue cheese. Sadly, no improvement. Wings were bland, absent was sauce. A tiny container of blue cheese. But the wings, the wings, pink inside some, a few were bleeding blood. I don't get it. The interior is beautiful, lots of TVs. Still selling under cooked wings. I'm only giving one star because 0 wasn't an option. I used to go to Buffalo Brothers 15 years ago when it was in downtown Cary. It was excellent--super good wings, great pizza. When I saw it opened in the old Outback Steakhouse, i was eager to try it again. Let me be clear: 14" pizza was actually 12" and made on what appeared to be scored cardboard. It also cost $13. The 10 wings I received looked as if they were harvested from baby chicks and had NO meat on them. They also were $13. Those and an unsweet tea plus tax were $30. Literally the worst meal. read more

I waited a very long time for Buffalo Brothers to get opened after Outback Steakhouse moved to there new location. Much of the interior has few changes other than adding about 30 TVs around the walls. Some of the old ceiling was removed for that more open look. I have tried a verity of foods on the menu over four visits so far. I tried both the Lasagna and Baked Ziti. Both come with some great garlic bread (half of a sub roll). I ordered the large size thinking if to much food, I could take home any left overs. I was very disappointed in the amount of pasta served, it was very good just not much of it served in a small potato boat dish. I really thought I was served a lunch portion my mistake. I ordered Unsweetened tea to drink on all visits and twice received sweet tea for refills. Compared to several other places that serve pasta in an 8" foil take out container, there was less than half the pasta and pricey for the Full order. Their Chicken Tenders are sold by 1/2 or full pound, still seems expensive not seeing the amount of food, but will try them some day. The last time I went I thought I would try the Western cheeseburger, Cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and fried onion strings. I ordered it cooked WELL done and without any raw onion, but received a generous portion of onion and only medium well cooked. I had to send it back. It was a very good burger after all is said and done. I still want to try their pizza and a few other things before I go back to a couple of other favorite Italian places with more reasonable prices for the amount of food received. read more

Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner. They seem to be really understaffed so be prepared to be patient and wait a little longer. Our waitress was friendly and our food was delicious. Our wings were delivered to the wrong table, and after sitting for 5-10 minutes on that wrong table, they realized the mistake and brought it over. NO, we don't want those wings. A good spot to catch some football! Buffalo Brothers is located off Kildaire near the Trader Joe's plaza. You cannot go wrong with where ever you choose to sit, LOTS OF TV. And the crowd is not heavy where you can't hear the TVs, but customers are enthusiastic, which makes watching fun! The staff are super friendly and patient if you wanted to just lounge and watch before ordering. I wouldn't go for the food (the wings were not too great), but the environment is perfect if you are looking for a comfortable location to watch all sports. read more

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza has been my favorite pizza in the area for more than 10 years. Living in West Raleigh, I only had the opportunity to eat there when I was on Capital or Lake Boone. Our waiter was very nice, with just the right balance between checking on us and giving us time alone. The wings flavors were lacking a little. We split a 40-count with medium, Thai, lemon, and garlic parmesan. The lemon was a wet wing, not a dry rub, and had just a hint of lemon sour flavor, but was mostly just roasted chicken. I have lived in Buffalo for 30 years and now live in NC. Always on the look out for authentic Buffalo Wings and Pizza. Unfortunately, I did not find it here. The Buffalo wings are made with Texas Pete sauce (confirmed by manager), which was so odd to me. Anyone from Buffalo knows Frank's Red Hot is the sauce of choice for authentic Buffalo wings. Not sure what the owners whom are supposed to be from Buffalo were thinking there. The Pizza was also disappointing. Crust was ho-hum and the sauce was not on the sweeter side like authentic Buffalo pizza sauce. Definitely no curl up Margherita brand pepperoni here either. Also the large was more like a medium. I am not saying the food was terrible, but if looking for authentic Buffalo fare then this is not the place. The service was fine as well. For authentic Buffalo wings I would go to the Flying Saucer in Raleigh or the Crosstown Pub in Cary. Both use Frank's Hot Sauce and are spot on for wings. I have visited Buffalo Bros in Cary 4 times since they opened. I have ordered boneless buffalo wings all four times. Tonight I did take out for my husband and Myself. They are very tasty. I ordered 8 for each of us. I usually am full, because they are good sized. Tonight we were shocked. We opened the containers to eat, and they all fit on one side of the container. FANTASTIC PIZZA & WINGS Full Bar, Craft Drafts and a huge patio In the old Outback building in Cary. We where surprised how nice the restaurant and a large patio was (Buffalo Brothers completely remolded it). We enjoyed the full draft list, and the pizza was really good. Home made ranch too. Our server was great, we had our kids and they enjoyed the patio and food. It has a nice full bar so my hubby and I will be back for a date night. Also Management did not engage with the customers at the tables. If you caught their eye, they looked the other way. Our server asked us one question at the beginning of our meal. "Would we like anything to drink?" The remainder of communication between us and our server throughout the meal and ordering was accomplished through us flagging him down.
