They RAID your bag(s) of clothes like shameless SCAVENGERS and attempt to ROB you going straight for the valuables they are looking for, then they immediately snatch what they perceive to be their GOLD MINE in your bag and rush it into their resale baskets behind the counter as if they already OWN YOU. Yes, they then CRAM the clothes they DON'T WANT back into your bag before they've even made an offer TO PAY for WHAT IS STILL YOUR PROPERTY and what they've ALREADY TAKEN and act like they just did you a favor by extending you some LOW-BALL CHUMP CHANGE for your GOLD MINE. Really, Buffalo Exchange? THIS is the way you treat sellers who SUPPLY YOUR BUSINE$$ with it's MONEY-MAKING INVENTORY and who you then intend to make your potential customers??? I've been a shopper at buffalo exchange for the last few years. The store is always kept nice and clean and the sales associates are nice as well. I have found quite a few gems while browsing through their selection. I do notice however that sometimes the prices seem a little high for a second hand store. I have found several cute items on the %50 off rack and that usually makes the price more agreeable. I would recommend going here if you want to browse or find something unique but don't want to search a ton of stores. You can find good deals if you are willing to look. I haven't experienced the buy back personally, but have had friends sell clothing to them and gotten completely ripped off. I'd personally rather donate my clothes to charity then have them overly priced for a profit of an picky second hand store. But I still enjoy going to browse and seeing what I can find there and would recommend to friends. read more

I had a deeply frustrating experience at this establishment that I feel compelled to share. I found myself waiting over 30 minutes in line, all because the cashier seemed more interested in regaling customers with tales of her personal life than in efficiently processing transactions. It was disheartening to stand there, watching time slip away as she shared stories that had nothing to do with the service. To make matters worse, she made unsolicited comments about the items we were selling , which felt not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. Her attitude was off-putting. I typically refrain from writing reviews, but this experience was simply unacceptable. I urge the owner to take note of these issues, particularly since I've come across similar complaints from others on Yelp. Before the buyers would make conversation and were polite, but now they make u feel uncomfortable , as if you are wasting their time. She told me to take her face down cause she's been getting harassed but i think it's just a plea to get the post taken down so i took the pictures off but i still stand by what i said. She was rude. And i get men but it's easy to be nice to the people waiting in line. And when i did get to the line my clothes were put back in the bag and not even. Looked at. I called the store ahead of time to ask what type of clothing they were taking. The girl said they were taking brightly colored clothing, and I explained that I had some very pretty tops by Inc., Ralph Lauren & Lucky Brand. She said "great" and to bring them in. Keep in mind that all of my tops are very colorful, fitted and in excellent condition. When I arrived at the store and the girl looked at my clothes, she said they could not take any of them. She said they were looking for tops that flowed only. The girl should have told me that when I called, but instead, they wasted my time. I was a little disappointed with this place. i brought in 4 big trash bags filled with cloths and they wouldnt accept any of it! i figured they would atleast take a few things! they literally wouldnt take ANY of it!! something about it being last years fashions and how they were only looking fro certain sizes at th emoment. all the clothes were really small, so im guess thats why they woyuldnt take my stuff, cause it was all larges or extra larges. i had accessories too, but tehy still wouldnt take it. it wasnt stuff that they could sell again. made me feel kinda bad. like, what are you tyrying to tell me, that im not stylish enough???!! well whatever, i just wont go back. read more

Today March 9th around 11am we had a horrible experience while selling with a white male. He made us feel unwelcome he kept questioning the way we dressed.. don't know why he didn't have any issue with anyone else , except for us. He mocked us.This should be a unique free of expression place. I don't know why you would allow someone to work for your company I'm very disappointed he was a racist and I've never been so disgusted in my life never come here again he's the worst !!! Hit or Miss...if you are in the mood for a hunt...also hit or miss with selling your clothes to them. I came in a couple of times within the same week and worked with the same buyer and maybe one other different buyer and things they passed on before, they took! They have a guide as to what they are looking for, well, that is what I want to wear not to sell...looks like they can't get enough of the hipster plaid/flannel style...whatever works...but they do have some designer as well. Overpriced, and way too hipster for me. I came in to bring in lots of my clothes, most of it never worn, with tags still on and after lugging in THREE trashbags full of clothes in great to excellent condition, all they wanted was a belt that came with a dress I had. They offered me 3.50 for it. Also, I waited about 15 minutes to be helped, so that was annoying. The clothes that they had inside was overpriced, not cute, and just a bunch of weird styles. I don't think I would've bought anything even with an equal exchange for all my clothes. read more

When it comes to selling, they say they don't only take designer clothing, but the first thing they look at is the tag. And don't take just anything, they are seasonal, so, right now only heavy, winter-type clothing is bought. Unless you have high-end clothing don't bother. And they chit-chat and giggle too much while you stand there waiting for an hour or more. read more

I went to Buffalo Exchange particularly to visit the Jo Malone counter to purchase my first Jo Malone scent for my birthday. Robert who worked for Jo was amazingly knowledgeable patient and not pushy. I really appreciated that. I can't wait to visit again and add a new scent to my collection! read more
