The table I was seated at was dirty and then booth seats had crumbs. The host swiped his hands across the seat and then proceeded to hand me the menu. That should have been my first clue to leave. Next some people who sat down after me were able to order their drinks before me. Which is fine except no one came for a good 5 or 10 mins. That should have been the final clue to tell me to leave. Food was slow to come out and i had just ordered the honey bbq salad. My server was nice enough. But no professionalism whatsoever. They must have got the memo! I've been back a dozen times since my last review and haven't had to wait on silverware. Servers are hit and miss, but haven't had my order messed up in a while! Unless u know your server you are gonna wait a bit for drinks and I've never gone there where my order was made correct. I've been going there since the opening night and it's kinda one of those it is what it is type of places. Personally, I think the prices are too high for the slow, mediocre service and horrible environment. Meals are for talking and interacting, and there is way too much going on. There are a million televisions and sounds going on all around you. I am not a sports fan, so I don't even know why I went here besides my friends told me wings would change my life. Granted on game days etc I expect it l be slow yet I've been on a random Monday/Tuesday night and it's been horrible. Service is so slow to get a drink, food or refill. Last night was the first time in nearly five years since I have been here. Once we got seated, it took 30 minutes to get our drinks. The place was rather busy, however, with eight of us only six of us got our drinks in 30 minutes, with one waiting 40 minutes and the last one finally came after 6 requests and 45 minutes. The food was great when we finally got it. Our waitress was missing for the first 30 minutes and only became attentive closer to tip time. There were no empty tables in the first seating area where we were sitting and by the time we left there were only two tables with customers seated. Just came here to say that Ryan was one of the most fantastic servers I've ever had. I've been in the industry for a while and I really appreciate seeing true hospitality, and he delivered above my expectations. He anticipated our needs at every stop, including realizing we were vegetarian without us even mentioning it and ensuring our customized orders were correct. Always on top of fresh drinks and making sure everyone had what they needed at all times, maintaining a party of eight with perfect execution and patience. He was a true gentleman while addressing each of us, and made our experience stress free. It was much needed as we are on the way to the hospital for the birth of my sisters first baby. Slow or busy day, service is always terrible. Luckily, the wings are good (props to the cook!) so we always to-go it but even ordering over the phone is awful. The wigs are great, but I feel ripped-off every time I eat here. They charge 60 cents for a very small cup of ranch, and the service is poor. I only eat here on Tuesdays and Thursdays when wings are 60 cents a piece. read more

Possibly the worst sports bar I've ever been to. The only reason to go to Buffalo Wild Wings is to see a game that you can't get on your TV.

The last two times my girlfriend and I ordered take out our order took over an hour, and was still messed up. Tonight I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and got a buffalo chicken wrap instead. Both my girlfriend and I's food had no hotsauce on it at all. This is the second time in three weeks something has been messed up for some reason. The patio area makes for a nice break from the noise if you don't mind not being seen and having to see who is walking in or exiting all the time. As a fan of BWW, I was feeling a bit reserved about this location from the previous reviews. The restaurant was fairly busy, not packed but decent crowd for a non football Monday night. I sat in the bar, was greeted promptly and ordered a beer. Disappointed in the fact the don't have any "local" (given this is Abilene I can understand but not even 1?) and only had 1 in the bottle. The waiter was nice, tried to carry on a conversation a bit but was pretty covered up himself. Unfortunately my appetizer didn't come out before my meal, but he had to be reminded of it - so I can see how previous ratings can dig on service. No one goes to Buffalo Wild Wings for the dry overcooked wings, or the overpriced watered down drinks and you definitely do not go for the unattentive customer service. You go to Bdubs for the atmosphere and the seemingly limitless numbers of TVs to watch your game. However after arriving at a half empty Bdubs on a Sunday afternoon I requested our game on the TV no one was watching and I was met with a shocking NO in a rude loud tone. After talking to a Manager they explained they will not touch the TVs. They CAN change the TVs however they would not. I have been to countless Bdubs across the nation and ever single one has always accommodated it's customers EXCEPT this one. Buffalo Wild Wings was half empty on Football Sunday and now I understand why, half the people were complaining about our game not being on and they could not care any less. I would not drive all the way here just to be treated rudely! There is just no reason to come to Buffalo Wild Wings on Football Sunday if they won't put on your football game. read more

I love B-Dubs! My friends and I always go there to hang out for great music videos and a fun time. I love their buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. Also the 40 cent wing special on Tuesdays and the 60 cent boneless special on Thursdays ROCK! The other day I took my niece, who is 6, in there for dinner. She loved all the decorations and lights. She also had a blast playing all the games they have to offer. Every time I watch her now she wants me to take her back to "wings". I would suggest B-dubs to anyone who is from Abilene or just visiting. read more

Went here with my wife today for the Tuesday wing deal. It was awesome. From the food to the service. My waitress's name was "Charity" and she made just the right amount of check backs; never bothered us when our mouths were full, always had a fresh drink on table as we neared the quarter mark.
