Their Chicken Crispers seem to be one of the more popular items, but to me, they tasted like any other chicken tenders--the Honey-Chipotle sauce was delicious, though. The mac and cheese was incredible! My sister is a vegetarian, and the waitress was very accommodating, adjusting some of the meals to suit her needs. They removed the bacon from the Baked Potato Soup and swapped the burger patty with a black bean patty. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the service was quick. So for a $10.99 lunch special at Chilis I got ice tea, fr fries, and a giant chicken sandwich. On a toasted bun! Now, this was about 3/4 in of moist flavorful chicken, and a crisp crunchy delicious outer crust. Huge sandwich! And served with a smile However, the kitchen was slow, so it took awhile to get it. I am not one to post reviews online, or complain this way. Our experience at Chili's in Maplewood last night was not at all what I would expect. The Food was great as expected, however the service was horrible. After ordering a beer, it wasn't delivered. We had to go to the bar for it. Our waitress was heard mocking us when she left our table. Then we ordered a 2nd beer which took a long time to be delivered. The bill came with duplicate charges. The waitress said we needed to speak with the manager, who was not helpful at all. She was rude and condescending. The money we spent may not be a lot for Chili's, but it is a lot to our family to go out and have a meal at a restaurant. We go to this Chili's 2 or 3 times a year and have noticed the service decline sharply over the last couple of years. Today I ordered the lunch Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl and a kids meal w a coke. The Chilis website needs to upgrade, get w the times... that's a corporate issue not the location. The bowl comes w half rice and half lettuce. There's nowhere online to make particular order modifications so after I click submit order I promptly call w my requests. Someone always promptly answers the phone and is always kind and accommodating. My requests are always the same: could you please 86 the rice and do all lettuce? The kids pop, no ice please. After I place the call I set out to pick up my order. Using their text confirmation I check in, using parking spot 1, which doesn't exist but I use that and pull up to the curb in front of their to-go door. Today after clicking submit, the gal came out the door! She handed me the pop whilst stating "I made sure there was no ice in this and there is no rice in the bowl, only lettuce." We got take out the other day and everything was pretty good but if someone orders two appetizer dips both listed with salsa for sure we should get two salsas and two bags of chips not just one. We ordered the skillet queso, the blanco queso, the triple dipper with chicken crispers, onion petals and south western egg rolls. We also go a kids quesadilla and the fajita trio. Overall everything was good the kids quesadilla was meh and we ordered three different sauces with the triple dipper and only got two. I would give a 0 if I could. Horrible experience, took us 20 mins to be seen for the first time along with that it to someone else to get seated in our section to be served. Waitress continued to remind us that it was only her 2nd day. Didn't notice any training or shadowing with her. The waitlist system they use allows you to wait in your car. They send you a text that has a link where you can view your place in line. This month Margarita's drink was so delicious and fun. Honestly my favorite Margarita I have ever had. They call it the Spider Bite "Rita and it's only $5. It was a bit disappointing though that mine did not come with the slice of lime as pictured in the advertisement. My husband and I split the smokehouse combo, which was delicious and a lot of food. All staff has masks on while working. I don't get the logic behind not providing the whole menu if they have the one menu that isn't disposable is given to everyone as they are seated. Service: arrived at 4pm, told the wait was 10-15 minutes. Choose to wait, very short time, no worries. Very loud party in progress at the restaurant and in the bar area, popped in my ear buds to listen to music while waiting. After 15 minutes the hostess told me she could not my party of four until the large party in progress left and would we like to eat in the extremely loud bar where patrons were smoking? I said no, thanks, we'll wait for a table. 45 minutes later the party leaves so I ask to sit in the bar area and get a table, so happy now. After reading yelp reviews on the restaurant, I choose the hamburger for dinner due to the very poor reviews. I figure it's hard to mess up a hamburger. The hamburger is good, starving stomachs are non discerning. My girlfriend orders Steak Fajitas, she did not like them because they came with flour tortillas and she wanted corn. We eventually get corn tortillas but they are falling apart into strips when trying to pick them up. The wait time of 10-15 minutes provided at arrival combined with dissatisfaction of the steak fajitas left us very upset with our dining experience. read more

We decided to stop here for date night. When we arrived, the place was somewhat packed. We were greeted then seated. The table we sat in was sticky. We told waiter and she apologized then wiped the table down.Waiter was nice but after taking our order she must of been to busy because she forgot to give us our utensils and condiments. We had to ask the other waiters. The atmosphere had a good family vibe with alot of familie/ friends enjoying there time eating and drinking. There was a bar area with a few people. Oh the cleaniness of Chili could use some TLC. Especially, in the women's bathroom. The stalls were falling apart. First off, the help could not have been any better. But the food, we ordered the nachos. They were by far the worst thing that I have eaten in years. We ate half of them and that's all we could do. Most nachos are piled up and crunchy, you know like nachos are supposed to be. These nachos were about 15 chips arranged in a circle on a plate with the nacho stuff put on them. Their ad campaign for the new hamburgers sucked me in. That silly jingle is in my head, "Baby back, baby back..." We got an added bonus because wings were only $5 and the Vikings/Packers game was on. The only complaint I have is they cook most of their meat very well done, no matter what you ask for. The kids chose from the kids menu with the exception of my older boy he chose to get the half rack of ribs. I got the margarita (not the 2 for 1 deal) it was eh, should've got the 2 for 1 deal instead. The food was nothing to brag about it was average. Corn on the cob was so mushy and the worst ever tasted, so that went in the garbage, along with most of the cheese fries. Haven't tried the cheesecake yet, but it looks delicious. This place was not so enjoyable. It has nice decor sure but, not so good. I had ordered the "spicy" shrimp tacos, thinking I was going to get as said such. Instead, I got uncomfortably sweet overly dripping tacos that had tiny raw looking shrimp. The appetizers took around 30 minutes to arrive which I do not blame the waiter, who very nice and helpful. He asked how the taco were, I felt bad for him and told him they were good. The desert I barely ate because the whole thing was 2000 calories, thus bringing about 200 calories per bite.
