Their Chicken Crispers seem to be one of the more popular items, but to me, they tasted like any other chicken tenders--the Honey-Chipotle sauce was delicious, though. The mac and cheese was incredible! My sister is a vegetarian, and the waitress was very accommodating, adjusting some of the meals to suit her needs. They removed the bacon from the Baked Potato Soup and swapped the burger patty with a black bean patty. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the service was quick. BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH! Holy Moly, a couple weeks ago I had an awful chx sand up in Mora. It was like what they serve at public school lunch and scout camp. Yuck! So for a $10.99 lunch special at Chilis I got ice tea, fr fries, and a giant chicken sandwich. On a toasted bun! Now, this was about 3/4 in of moist flavorful chicken, and a crisp crunchy delicious outer crust. Huge sandwich! And served with a smile However, the kitchen was slow, so it took awhile to get it. Did I mention that it came with chips & salsa too? But some of the staff kind of creeper me out! Now I'm pretty traditional, so oddly dressed people thow me for a loop. And yeah, I'm old. I am not one to post reviews online, or complain this way. Our experience at Chili's in Maplewood last night was not at all what I would expect. The Food was great as expected, however the service was horrible. After ordering a beer, it wasn't delivered. We had to go to the bar for it. Our waitress was heard mocking us when she left our table. Then we ordered a 2nd beer which took a long time to be delivered. The bill came with duplicate charges. The waitress said we needed to speak with the manager, who was not helpful at all. She was rude and condescending. The money we spent may not be a lot for Chili's, but it is a lot to our family to go out and have a meal at a restaurant. We go to this Chili's 2 or 3 times a year and have noticed the service decline sharply over the last couple of years. Today I ordered the lunch Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl and a kids meal w a coke. The Chilis website needs to upgrade, get w the times... that's a corporate issue not the location. The bowl comes w half rice and half lettuce. There's nowhere online to make particular order modifications so after I click submit order I promptly call w my requests. Someone always promptly answers the phone and is always kind and accommodating. My requests are always the same: could you please 86 the rice and do all lettuce? The kids pop, no ice please. After I place the call I set out to pick up my order. Using their text confirmation I check in, using parking spot 1, which doesn't exist but I use that and pull up to the curb in front of their to-go door. Today after clicking submit, the gal came out the door! She handed me the pop whilst stating "I made sure there was no ice in this and there is no rice in the bowl, only lettuce." We got take out the other day and everything was pretty good but if someone orders two appetizer dips both listed with salsa for sure we should get two salsas and two bags of chips not just one. We ordered the skillet queso, the blanco queso, the triple dipper with chicken crispers, onion petals and south western egg rolls. We also go a kids quesadilla and the fajita trio. Overall everything was good the kids quesadilla was meh and we ordered three different sauces with the triple dipper and only got two. I would order again but know it's chilis it's a chain Restaurant so nothing is ever going to be spectacular. read more

The waitlist system they use allows you to wait in your car. They send you a text that has a link where you can view your place in line. This month Margarita's drink was so delicious and fun. Honestly my favorite Margarita I have ever had. They call it the Spider Bite "Rita and it's only $5. It was a bit disappointing though that mine did not come with the slice of lime as pictured in the advertisement. My husband and I split the smokehouse combo, which was delicious and a lot of food. All staff has masks on while working. I don't get the logic behind not providing the whole menu if they have the one menu that isn't disposable is given to everyone as they are seated. The full menu is located online after scanning the code on the condensed menu given. They also still have the touch screen pay system on each table for paying and playing games. read more

Service: arrived at 4pm, told the wait was 10-15 minutes. Choose to wait, very short time, no worries. Very loud party in progress at the restaurant and in the bar area, popped in my ear buds to listen to music while waiting. After 15 minutes the hostess told me she could not my party of four until the large party in progress left and would we like to eat in the extremely loud bar where patrons were smoking? I said no, thanks, we'll wait for a table. 45 minutes later the party leaves so I ask to sit in the bar area and get a table, so happy now. After reading yelp reviews on the restaurant, I choose the hamburger for dinner due to the very poor reviews. I figure it's hard to mess up a hamburger. The hamburger is good, starving stomachs are non discerning. My girlfriend orders Steak Fajitas, she did not like them because they came with flour tortillas and she wanted corn. We eventually get corn tortillas but they are falling apart into strips when trying to pick them up. The wait time of 10-15 minutes provided at arrival combined with dissatisfaction of the steak fajitas left us very upset with our dining experience. read more

We decided to stop here for date night. When we arrived, the place was somewhat packed. We were greeted then seated. The table we sat in was sticky. We told waiter and she apologized then wiped the table down.Waiter was nice but after taking our order she must of been to busy because she forgot to give us our utensils and condiments. We had to ask the other waiters. The atmosphere had a good family vibe with alot of familie/ friends enjoying there time eating and drinking. There was a bar area with a few people. Oh the cleaniness of Chili could use some TLC. Especially, in the women's bathroom. The stalls were falling apart. As for the food, it was over salted (I'm a salty eater) but fried pickles and my bbq sauce on my brisket was way too salty. Not much good to say about the food. read more

The male host yesterday made us wait 15 min before he even spoke to us. He did this to none of the other white patrons who came in after us. This was on Juneteenth day nonetheless. The white couple that came in after us were served before us. We happen to be in the high earning bracket for this area and really don't have tolerance for this bs. First off, the help could not have been any better. But the food, we ordered the nachos. They were by far the worst thing that I have eaten in years. We ate half of them and that's all we could do. Most nachos are piled up and crunchy, you know like nachos are supposed to be. These nachos were about 15 chips arranged in a circle on a plate with the nacho stuff put on them. This caused them to be limp and soggy. Just gross!. We also ordered what I think they call fried onion chips. Now those are some of the best I've ever eaten. Not above visiting a chain from time to time. There are times when it's just easier and faster. Stopped in shortly after they opened. We were given the choice of booth or table. Booths are nice with a toddler. Service was lovely and just the right amount of attentive. Food ordered: Enchiladas which were said to be actually pretty good. Food was average. Maybe it was just what I ordered. We will be back to try it again a different day. So far 4/5 stars. Their ad campaign for the new hamburgers sucked me in. That silly jingle is in my head, "Baby back, baby back..." We got an added bonus because wings were only $5 and the Vikings/Packers game was on. The burger I got had onion rings and bacon. It was massive. My mom got one of the new burgers (on sale for 6.99!), too. We both ended up taking half a burger home. This Chili's is underrated. The service is always good, I never wait longer than 25 minutes for my food, and the deals are always good throughout the whole chain. The only complaint I have is they cook most of their meat very well done, no matter what you ask for. Then I ordered the "grilled" chicken avacado bacon sandwichand it was raw!. Slimey and mushy, very undercooked. Then the manager came to the table in a filthy apron and said they do not "grill" anymore and have not for years! He really did not seem concerned that the chicken was undercooked! Stopped by with my wife and kids. On Tuesday night for dinner. It was moderately busy but we were sat down quickly. The wife and I chose from the 2 for 20 menu(salad=wife, bacon burger=me). The kids chose from the kids menu with the exception of my older boy he chose to get the half rack of ribs. I got the margarita (not the 2 for 1 deal) it was eh, should've got the 2 for 1 deal instead. The food was nothing to brag about it was average. I ordered the fresco side salad with dressing on the side. I spent most of my time picking off dead spinach out of my salad. It didn't make me enjoy the salad very much. Ordered Chili's to Go. Got there when my order was supposed to be ready. 20 minutes later my food was brought out. I only live a mile away, so food should have been a good temperature. Cheese fries appetizer was mediocre-warm, day old look and taste. Burger was very good, husband's ribs were good. Corn on the cob was so mushy and the worst ever tasted, so that went in the garbage, along with most of the cheese fries. Haven't tried the cheesecake yet, but it looks delicious. This place was not so enjoyable. It has nice decor sure but, not so good. I had ordered the "spicy" shrimp tacos, thinking I was going to get as said such. Instead, I got uncomfortably sweet overly dripping tacos that had tiny raw looking shrimp. The appetizers took around 30 minutes to arrive which I do not blame the waiter, who very nice and helpful. He asked how the taco were, I felt bad for him and told him they were good. The desert I barely ate because the whole thing was 2000 calories, thus bringing about 200 calories per bite. My grown boys and I meet at chili's frequently on Sundays for dinner at least these past 10+yrs. Usually the Maplewood Chili's has good food and great service. However, watch out for Bethany the waitress- she has her own agenda and brings you what she decides instead of what you order. She doesn't tell you the specials until you ask... or she'll just bring out the special without telling you. She will streak past your table and respond to the back of my head as she is already past you. I order the 2for1 bloody mary, she brings 1 bloody mary stupid stuff on top. I asked where's the drinks I ordered, she said this is a better deal and it has top shelf vodka. I didn't ask for that. She argued it's a better deal and went off on a babble that made no sense. Finally taking it back and getting me what I order. She later brought out semi warm burnt onion rings... we tried to complain but she was gone. My daughter in law asked for loaded mash instead of fries, she got both. My son had digestive issues and asked for broccoli instead of corn. She said she already place the order but maybe change it- But it's only been seconds after she took the order- He had to chase her for this as she was gone. Yep, he go corn. Complained the mgr- she brought a plate of broccoli. My Cajun chicken pasta was dry and looked like it sat under the lights too long. I complained to the mgr she said- sorry your regular server isn't here. WTH- What difference does that make. Customer service is a must when dinning.
