I ordered online and they said my estimated wait time was an hour. I show up at the time I was told to and proceeded to wait almost 40 minutes for my food. So from the time I ordered to the time I received it was almost two hours. Friendly staff though, and I'm sure they can't help the wait times. read more

The wings are the best in town, sadly you will sit on the phone for an hour just TRYING to get someone to pick up to place an order that will also take an hour until you can pick it up. You go in to pick up your food and can literally watch the employees ignore the phone ringing. read more

WORST dining experience I've had in literally years. 10 of us went there after our family members' hockey game, we didn't need to be sat together, so we sat at 3 different tables. The waitress was nice, but OMG did she mess everything up. We waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for our food to be brought to us, she had apparently rung in everyone's appetizers in with their entrees (anyone whose waited tables knows not to do that, you bring appetizers out while people wait for their entrees), AND didn't do each table as a separate ticket, so we waited over an hour and a half until all 3 tables' appetizers AND entrees were all done, to get all of our appetizers and entrees at the same time, and OF COURSE that meant that our appetizers had just been sitting in the window while she waited for our entrees to be done. As a result, our mozzarella sticks were ICE COLD, AND our wings were all cold. We were starving after waiting over an hour and half, and then were given ice cold food. No one apologized, no discounts were given, so we paid full price for horrific service and food, and were sitting there for about 2 hours. Will never go back. read more

I enjoy the BWW chain food. But, since the remodel years ago, our family has not once received our order in a timely manner. I'm not talking about noticeably late, it is always so crazy late that we consider leaving. I have no idea why we ever come back. Typically, I'm not a review writer. Horrible customer service. I called in a to go order and they said 25 minutes. I called in my order at 7:24. I arrived about 7:45 and they told me it would be another 20-30 minutes. I wait until 8:15, and then go to the counter. Guy goes in the back and comes back with my food. I was missing an order of fries so when we went back to get them, I checked my food. It was COLD. It's hard telling how long it had been sitting. I let the guy know I was very unimpressed. He apologized and I left. I get home, the wrap is a mess, there is 1 ranch when I asked AND paid for 4. OK, my son is a huge fan of anything that has Buffalo sauce on it, so we eat here a lot. And I mean A LOT! My biggest complaint in the past has been with the service. It didn't matter where I was in the U.S., the BWW service always sucked. So I'm guessing there was an issue with how they were trained, or the way tables were divided by servers, but something may have changed. During my past 2 visits in the past month or so here in Bloomington, the service has been . . . really pretty decent! I have been actually impressed with the service and we have been able to get in and out of the restaurant without getting pissed off that the waiter/waitress had disappeared for the past 15 minutes. So nice job BWW for stepping up and addressing the biggest issue you had as a franchise! Now I can stop going to Bedford to Buffalo Wings & Rings to get my wing fix and hopefully get it here again in Bloomington. read more

Went here to watch a basketball game that was on ESPN U. Who would have known that the ultimate march madness place doesn't have ESPN U. I have visited this place infrequently since they open, trying to give it a chance each time. I also visit the chain in other states/area. This location has been poorly managed since day 1. The WORST service I have ever encountered at a restaurant, and it is consistent. Tonight, a carry out order took just over 1 hour and 20 minutes and the restaurant was only half full at 9pm. Slowest place that I have been to in awhile! To be fair it was a busy night, but not packed. It took exactly 40 min to receive our food from the time we ordered! Just the 2 of us.. wings, fries, onion rings. I think the slow service must be the norm. Our waitress (who was nice and did an adequate job) never apologized for our wait, or did she even mention it. The macaroni and cheese was far worse than any store bought boxed one I've ever had and the fries were grainy and mealy. I'm not sure how these two basic junk foods were screwed up. The beer was flat and did not taste like any Heineken I've ever had. This is obviously not an expensive place, but for the quality of the food, it's very overpriced. I'm confused as to how they stay in business. Lots of televisions? Saw a girl in flip-flops going behind the bar (healthcode violation) and thought she was just an employee saying "hi" to someone. Turns out she was a manager and was there to buy "pills" off of a customer. Chicken wings and sports have been linked together as an excellent combination for years, and no place makes the connection better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Buffalo Wild Wings has a reputation as a place for "bros" to hang out, but it is also a welcoming atmosphere for couples and families. Booths hug the sides of the establishment while the middle of the floor contains larger tables for any group meeting up. Of course, for a place that likes to be known as a wings & beer destination, there is a bar big enough to claim about half of the overall area. The bar was the louder side, but neither side was particularly quiet. There is undeniable energy zooming throughout the place with each scream of approval or yelp of disdain following a significant football play on one of the TV monitors. The only possible drawback to the viewing experience would be too many choices. I might just be a big sports fan, but I found the experience of watching the games with various fans interesting since it showed the highs and lows of fandom in a short span. The only parts of the wall absent of flat screens were the areas covered by sports jerseys and posters with local ties. Jerseys ranged from Indiana teams to Cincinnati and Chicago. It's obvious Buffalo Wild Wings tailor made their décor to ensure fans would view the restaurant as a haven to watch their favorite teams. Another important (some would say expected) wrinkle is the free Wi-Fi. All of the information I've given thus far only matters so much without good food and luckily for Buffalo Wild Wings it passes the test here. No one will be confusing the food for gourmet, but this also isn't a gourmet style restaurant in the slightest, so it fits. I ordered one of the two appetizer samplers on the menu in an attempt to taste as many things as possible, and I enjoyed it all. Regarding service, it was timely and delivered with a smile. There was no grandiose show put on by the waitress as she more than likely accustomed to taking orders while a customer has a wandering eye towards a TV. The plate came with pretzels and cheese, fried mushrooms, pita chips with spinach artichoke dip, and the traditional Buffalo wings. It kind of felt like the type of things I would eat at a tailgate which makes perfect sense because the whole restaurant has a subdued indoor tailgate atmosphere. The wings were the best part of the meal which also seems credible considering the name of the establishment. The meal was priced fairly at 13.79 after accounting for the fact that it was so much food I needed a box to take it home. Sure, I'm a smaller guy, but I can eat beyond what my weight suggests, and I was full halfway through the sampler. My complaints were minimal, but the cleanliness left something to be desired as I saw a bug flying around. Overall, it seemed to be a new place and kept up well. Buffalo Wild Wings is a welcoming place for any sports fan whether on a date, with family, or with friends. Combining cheery service with fried goodness at a workingman's price, Buffalo Wild Wings possess a set-up capable of providing a good time for anyone looking to get out of the house to watch a sporting event. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Drove 20 minutes to get my food. Get home and my sauce was so spicy my eyes started watering, I was given mango habanero instead of Asian zing. My parter calls the store to let them know, and the server on the phone immediately starts arguing with her about it and hangs up on her. My food has been messed up a few other times here. I drove back to show them my food was wrong. On the way we called multiple times and asked to speak to a manger and were hung up every time. we would get placed on hold for about 30 seconds and then hung up on. I get there and the manager comes out, as the server stands behind the door smiling at me. I tell him I was hung up on multiple times and he tries to say it's because I was placed on hold. I also let him know I talked to him about 2 months ago and he was supposed to have 40 free wings for me, which he then tells me I only had 30 days to claim. Definitely didn't tell me that the first time I talked to him. So we continue about this time and how my food was messed up. They said they mixed up the bottles, but they should probably know the differences between the sauce, right? The server keeps arguing and telling me she didn't hang up on me. I ask for a corporate office phone number or the managers boss, which the manager said he couldn't give me. I asked him who the other managers were that worked there, he gave me 3 other names. I told him I was extremely unhappy after different trips there, my food is now cold, I've been hung up multiple times and in the past, and tell him that isn't how good businesses run. The server, Asiajuana looks at me and says "well you probably shouldn't eat here anymore". No duh, right. The manager, Robert, says "so you're calling me out about bad management when all I've done is help you". All he did was refund my money and tell me I couldn't get a gift certificate or food from my previous order that was messed up. Terrible service every time, terrible management, cold food. How on a Thursday is there a one hour kitchen wait here and 20 min wait to be seated? We have been here 20 min and 4 tables havent been cleared to sit 4 groups waiting..I dont see a manager or anyone moving fast to accomodate tables or at least come by to apologize for people at tables waiting for food or people waiting in line. Basic customer service and effort..come here during off hours because they cant handle peak. In 2 min writing this, 2 more tables came available for 5 available if cleaned and now 7 geoups waiting..go somewhere else read more

1st time there and the last time. The waiter that took our order was polite. But after two other tables that ordered after we did were served their food and half way through their meal we were still waiting. My wife had to ask another server to check on our order. Waiter finally brought out our order. All the food was cold except the onion rings. I sent back the potato wedges (Room temperature). Was in the area at lunch time and stopped in for some wings. I had previously been at this location to watch football last season and remembered that the food was okay. After today, I think the beer I had that fall day fogged my memory! Today, I ordered 10 wings (lemon pepper rub and Caribbean jerk) along with a side salad. The side salad was prepared with very poor ingredients; the salad mix looked to be the cheapest one could buy. Moreover, most of the lettuce was wilted and several leaves were rotten with black edges. Since I came for the wings, I ate what salad I could and began on the wings. The Caribbean jerk wings were good with a nice amount of heat. Unfortunately, the lemon pepper wings were terrible. There was VERY little rub on any of them; I had to use table salt just to make them edible. Also, 8 of my 10 wings were wingettes, with only 2 drumettes- rather cheap of them given the price. With BuffaLouie's in town, there is no reason to pay these prices for such inconsistent food. read more

Went to have dinner there tonight on 3/3/17 and was seated around 8 p.m. We ordered the appetizer which came out quickly. Waitress said the food had been running about 45 minutes to be served. People that were seated later than us was served before us and when asked when our food would be out we were told the hamburger was taking longer to cook. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to receive our meal. Was told they had no kitchen staff. Not the best way to run a business. We had went back in January for carry out and ordered by phone. Arrived when they said it would be ready and after waiting an additional 35 minutes there was still no food so cancelled our order. Having been a server not long ago, I'm pretty understanding of what they go through and like to be an easy to deal with, well-tipping customer regardless of most situations. However, last night I came the closest to stiffing a tip and complaining to a manager that I've ever came with a server. She's lucky we paid for the meal at all, let alone give her a decent tip despite the fact that none of us felt very good about doing so. I have compassion for hard-working FOH staff, but I have no tolerance for laziness and poor attitude. The service we got at our table last night was almost deliberately terrible; from everything we observed, it seemed highly likely that our server was giving us the worst possible service that anyone in the restaurant was getting, her other tables included, and we made sure to keep to ourselves without raising much of a fuss at the time. I don't understand why this woman chose to give us the cold shoulder, but my God was it frustrating! My fiancé got to the table before the rest of my party arrived at the restaurant and she waited 30 minutes before our server even came to offer beverages. Once we had our drinks and had placed our orders, we waited over an hour for the food and my fiancé's meal, the mini corn dogs and side salad, didn't come out with the rest of the food. These two dishes were the easiest, least time-consuming part of our meal to get ready; I know because I've worked here before. We were already sketched out by this, but when I asked my server where my fiancé's meal was, she said it would be right out. She then proceeded to go clean tables right in front of us and do almost everything else besides checking on our meal. I had to go up to the woman running the carry-out window to get that food brought out to us and when I did, we still had to wait because the server had to get back to the kitchen from wasting time on the floor to do her job and those corndogs came out slightly cool, meaning they were likely sitting back there the entire time this woman was meandering around. She only checked on us once the whole time we were eating and brought us our checks over 30 minutes after we had finished eating- and that would've taken longer had we not asked the host to help get us the checks because this lady was ignoring us entirely. We spent well over two hours at the restaurant last night while people around us, some with the same server, got in and out before we even got our food. For instance, we watched a table of four get there well after we had, get their drinks, get their appetizers, have their food delivered to the table, get checked on a few times, finish their meal, get their checks and walk out- and they had the same server we did! This girl's efforts with us were practically non-existent and her attitude was god awful! Not once did she explain what was going on or try to apologize. She just avoided our table as much as possible and we all had the same strong impression that was exactly what she was doing. I know the owner, Tom, usually runs a tight ship. I've never had a problem there before. Most of our food was pretty good. Our service was the only bad part, but it was bad enough to warrant something being said. This server wasted over two hours of our Sunday when it normally would have taken us less than half that time with a higher functioning employee. It might be a long while before we come back, but maybe we will someday- and if that same young lady has managed to avoid getting herself fired up until then, we'll avoid her section like the plague. I'm getting really tired of seeing people my age acting stupid, being lazy and having that brain-numbed, blank-faced fluoride stare... And last night, our server epitomized much of what is wrong with the Millenial generation. read more

This past Saturday, I had booked the party room, correction, a surprise birthday 40th party for my husband at Buffalo Wild Wings. I had reserved the room for the party on May 1. I asked during the booking of the reservation if I needed to pay for the room now. The employee I was talking to ensured me that I did not need to pay for it until the week of the party. I had called several times with questions and spoke to a couple of different managers. I went in the store the week before the party and paid the $100 fee for the room. They told me to call back the morning of the party to place my food orders for the party. I called them at 11am on the day of the party. I was immediately directed to the manager. The manager tells me that he had been trying to get a hold of me. I asked what number he was calling. A number that was not mine, nor the one I had given the first manager I spoke to when I reserved the room. He said we have double book the room for tonight and you can no longer have it for your party. I was told that someone else booked this room on May 2nd and paid for it the next week so they got the room and I had to find something else. He offered me my money back and told me I could reserve the room another day at their expense. I kept hearing empty apologies of how the managers were new and they were the ones who messed it up. He kept telling me there was nothing he could do so I finally hung up. My husband, who I had to tell about the surprise party, called back. The manager proceeded to call me a B**CH over the phone saying I was very emotional about the situation. He offered us to use the dining room at the same time (if there was room). However, he told my husband he would have to minimize his guest list in order to use the dining room. I still haven't received my money back from the reservation. However what I can tell you, is that I will never step foot into that Buffalo Wild Wings again. I was treated very rudely and my husband's 40th birthday surprise party was ruined. read more

I will say that this Buffalo Wild WIngs does not measure up to the ones that I have visited in Chicago, Indianapolis and other cities, but to say that the other wing places in Bloomington can even compare is either uneducated on wings, or are friends with the workers or owners of the other establishments. B - Dubs, as its nationally known among true wing eaters, here in Bloomington has its faults. It seems that the wings in this location are a lot smaller than those at others, and a few of the waitresses in there are not that great. But in comparison, if you look at the other places that sell wings in the Bloomington area, the wings are still smaller, and their sauces are limited, and not tasty at all. But for the majority of the waitresses I have recieved excellent service and tasty hot food. I also love the fact that they show more than IU Sports because they are one of the few places here in Bloomington that recognize that many of the people that live in this city are from different places. Do they need improvement on the size of wings, yes. But overall it is the best place in Bloomington by far to grab some true wings. read more

I think last night finally did it. I'm done with this chain. Sad to say, I've been to more bw3's than i should have over the years, in many different states. The number of times I've been dimed to death with upcharges (see: ranch, carrots, celery!?!?) combined with bad service makes me think the person who should be getting fired at corporate franchise operations, won't be. Here's how last night went. I sit at bar. Bar is filthy. I ask for it to be cleaned. Obliged. I get cleaner spray shot right in front of me over my open beer. Awesome. Order wings and fried shrimp and a water. I ask the bartender to ensure my wings are coated with sauce. Not drowning, mind you...just at least coated all the way. Those of you who have been to ANY bw3's know exactly what i'm talking about. Anyway. Wings show up. Shrimp and fries show up. Wings are lukewarm, at best. Same for fries. Guy doesn't show up for another ten minutes to ask how my food is. Water never shows up either. I eat my cold wings. I ask for my bill. On it, is a .25 charge for "extra sauce." horrible value. wings are about a buck each now and the beer is ridiculously overpriced. i haven't been to b-dubs in almost a year. i really have NO desire to ever return. i remember b-dubs from the 90's and it was a good value. 25 cent wings on tuesday and 23 oz. beers on special for a 1.50 and you picked up your order when it was ready and didn't have to worry about tipping anyone. nowadays, a beer on special will cost about 4.75 or more. and if you get any celery with your wings, that is gonna cost you at least another 2 bucks (might be more now if they raised their prices) the only people who would give this place a good review are the folks who are easily satisfied and don't mind getting ripped off. b-dubs is NOTHING like it used to be. now, it is a corporate ripoff joint and they know it. the only thing they can talk about in their stupid commercials is beer, wings sports. they suck balls now folks- go anyplace else- you will be glad you did. read more

I would like to start by saying that I love B dubs. I travel a lot and I can always count on a consistent menu of wings, beer , and sports. This was my first visit to this BW3 and I expected the same. Did not get it. The food was the same. The sports were the same. But the beer stunk. I ordered a tall Miller lite. Easy enough. The guy next to me orders a Miller lite. They looked like two different beers. Mine was fine, same taste I'm used to. He looked up from his phone, and noticed that the head on his beer was an inch above his glass and spilling over. It continued to grow from their. It also tasted odd. Same keg, different glasses. It also tasted "off". He told the waitress and she got him a new glass and everything was fine. My next beer tasted like Ajax. She got me another beer in a new glass. After that I asked that she use the same glass, as it was obviously clean. She thought we were both nuts and told us we were going to pay for any beer in a glasses we rejected. The glasses were obviously dirty, and they didn't want to do anything about it. Just be careful. read more
